Restaurantji's guide to Los Molinos' top Mexican dining experiences.
“Great homemade tamales! Cooked fresh or you can take home frozen. They sell by the 1/2 dozen They have a few different combos:pork and red sauce pork and chili verde cheese and green chili Chicken and red sauceChicken and chili verdeSo good!“
“Great food and the ladies are amazing!! We have spent 13 months in Baja and Guerrero Mexico, and we ALWAYS stop at Koritas Taco Truck when passing through Los Molinos BECAUSE... It is absolutely authentic Mexican food that reminds us of the amazing food we enjoyed in Mexico. Don't get me wrong --I love California-style Mexican cuisine, but this place is pure Mexican: Aged Cojita instead of Monterey Jack, homemade tortillas, wide variety of meats - all perfectly cooked. Enjoy a real Mexican meal here.“
“We originally came when they had the taco truck at this location before the restaurant opened. We had very flavorful tacos. Months later we came back and again had their lunch special of 2 asada tacos with mini nachos. Again the flavors were excellent! The restaurant was clean & spacious and it was delightful to sit inside out of the wind & rain. The owner/chef was very friendly and welcoming he obviously knows how to cook. We will definitely come back again!A bonus is that the food is very reasonably priced. This place is worth the stop when traveling up or down Interstate 5.“
“Cashier was super nice and recommended me items that he saw me questioning. He was honestly one of the kindest people I have encountered in food services. I came into the restaurant at 3:50 pm on 11/30/23. Store also had music playing, good vibes going and made me feel like I was eating home made food.“
“My new favorite taco truck! Food is really good! Service is friendly and fast. I love that you can also call ahead and order which is great if you are on lunch and don't have a lot of time. Prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try!“
“Been here the last two times I've passed through Corning and would come back daily if I could. The al pastor is on point, very good portion sizes, they are extremely friendly and service is top notch. Love this place. Can't wait to come back!“
“Love the burrito shrimp of la diabla(spicy sauce shrimp burrito). You can order not spicy, mild, or very spicy and believe it’s spicy the very spicy one. I Love the quesabirrias and menudo. The food is delicious and service good. My husband have tried the Gerber burgers, birria combo, quesabirrias, and menudo. He is enfatuated with the birria and quesabirrias.“
“ABOSUTLY AMAZING. The chicken nuggets tasted decent, and at a cheap price. The atompshere was truly mexican. However, the only reason this place is getting a 5 star review is because the menus are built into the table. If you want to tree one of the 7 wonders of corning, go here.Parking: THERE WAS A MCDONALDS PANCAKE MAKER ON THE ASPLAT“
“I visit this truck way more than I should, but their tacos and burritos are the best in town. I've tried other truck, but this by far and you'll never end up with a dry taco. They also have a nice sitting area with a cooling system.“
“An overall enjoyable experience, I was promptly greeted and allowed to choose my own seat. Drinks w/chips and salsa were brought to me immediately. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly and the food was very good. I ordered the mix fajitas. Too much food for one person to eat so I will have some to take home. I am from out of town and found this place very easy to find off the main road.Parking: Plenty of room for parking. I parked a bus on the street side. There was additional parking in front of the restaurant for smaller vehicles.“
“Nice Casa with spacious dining hall and friendly service staff. Hector greets you with si/hola Senor / Senora etc. Chips come immediately with salsa - mostly likely because they are straight out of a Costco bag. And the spinach tamales comes from the freezer pretty sure but it does taste good. Fajitas are good. Overall, it’s a passable Mexican joint odd the I-5 but $16/entree for this stuff? Nah.“
“I came in here for some breakfast and it was pretty good!! I judge good restaurants by their rice and eggs because if they can't get those down, ion expect the rest of the menu to be as good either. But it was a damn good plate, with the service being a little ignorant when it came to ordering food. But other than that, the place was amazing, the smells of the food being cooked were great and it was a lively atmosphere!!“
“We ordered this through doordash, so i'm not sure how the workers are or how the restaurant looks. But the food was amazing!! I ordered cheese enchiladas and it was way better than other places that feels like they're cooked through an assembly line, this food was cooked and presented so well, and tasted phenomenally. we will be ordering from here way often from now on.“
“The service is slow, so call your order in. However, it's slow for a GREAT reason. Everything is cooked FRESH TO ORDER, and they are always busy for that exact reason! It's across from the TA truck stop, so not much for atmosphere, but everyone is so nice, in and outside of the food truck! The burritos are huge and their salsas are the best! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Vegetarian options: The veggie burrito wins my gal's heart! If you're vegetarian and eat eggs, they have breakfast burritos too!“
“Well i was pleasantly surprised when the food was on point. The chips were firm. The guacamole was ? the chip to topping ratio was on point. I also liked that they had forks instead of the old spork best food I've had from there in a long time. The 3$ loaded is the old nachos supreme but better“
“Food is extremely good. I love the enchiladas. You need cash here. I wish they'd take a card, but it's so good I'd probably spend more if they did. Reasonable prices too, generous portions. You can eat outside only, it's tiny with no inside at all.“
