“Now open for dinner on Friday and Saturday! We’ve eaten both breakfast and lunch here many times and it never disappoints. They now have 2 patios—the new one in front is a positive addition, and the original one is still lovely with all the garden plants. “Do yourself a favor and eat here. A unique menu that you will want to try and replicate at home. I tried the "Morro Melt" breakfast dish, a 1/4 inch thick cut of turkey served on a 1 inch thick blue corn waffle topped with caramelized onion, Havardi cheese (I think) avocado, some type of greens (maybe arugula) and a few other ingredients - delicious!.

I also had one of their special coffees (can't remember the name), but it was similar to bullet-proof coffee with a twist - they added hemp seeds, cinnamon and dates for sweetness. That is a damn good cup of coffee.

The ordering process starts outside where you go to what looks like a take-out window. You place your order and then you are given a number plate. At that point you go inside and sit down. We got there 15 minutes before it opened and within a 1/2 hour the place was full

“So many amazing looking options for vegans! We tried the tempeh taco, jackfruit tacos, and island smoothie. Everything was so good. The tempeh taco looks more like a large salad with a taco on the side. The cilantro cream dressing was delicious. Everything we got had lots of flavor and felt like you were eating something nourishing. Very casual eating environment, which we liked. Highly recommend!“

“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

“I had lunch at this restaurant while doing a road trip through the PCH. I was really satisfied with the flavor of the food. Perhaps, one of the best Thai food I have ever had. Would love to go back if I ever do that road trip again.“

“On a day date with my husband, we set off in search of coffee and we stumbled across Lunada. It opened up just as we walked across their front porch. We decided to have a glass of wine or cocktail before moving on.

After seeing the menu, my husband decided we were staying for fillets. I am so glad we did. The mixed drinks were fantastic and the filets, absolute perfection.

The atmosphere was one that offers a sophisticated dining experience high-quality service, but without the formality and strictness associated with fine dining. It is definitely a place where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal without feeling a rigid formality you might in other places.

We decided to sit in the garden and it was peaceful and relaxing. There is also indoor seating if that’s more your pace. Or if the weather is not cooperative.

The weight staff was friendly and welcoming.

Would definitely recommend two friends and family in the area and we will be back!“

“We just happened to be staying in town on Valentine’s Day and they had a special set menu. Ohhh so good, we got the scallops, salad and desert. I could literally live on the salad. The risotto was so good! We ate upstairs and it was really cozy with the heaters and the nighttime atmosphere. The bar was lively and fun, our service was a bit slow but everything is so fresh! I can understand it is made to order. My only complaint, I’m so sorry but, I am a spicy Bloody Mary “snob” and the one here was not good at all. But that’s it! We loved everything else. Now to the owners who reply to reviews, I would have come here with all 1 star reviews just from reading your replies!!! Whoever you are I spent an hour reading reviews and your priceless replies! “Favorite place to eat when I come to morro bay!“

“We had a wonderful late evening dinner on the patio. The ambience was perfect and relaxing. Service was attentive and excellent from start to finish. We started with the California Caesar salad, which was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the filet, cooked exactly as requested, and it was outstanding. A memorable dining experience—I'll definitely return!“

“Well we tried this based upon a search of restaurants in the area and since we went off season we were able to find a nice seat, great view and the food was very good. We will be going again the next time we're in the area. Prices were in the mid-range and what you would expect these days.“
