“Last week I was traveling through LA on my way to Santa Barbara. I had some time to kill so I looked up Poke. Came across this amazing place! I am admittedly new to Poke. The staff took good care of me and I wound up having such a hard decision. I think the spicy Poke might have been might absolute favorite. I can’t wait for my next trip to LA so I can stop there again!“

“Fresh ahi poke with perfect seasoning!

This small grab 'n go restaurant has a line to order. With only a couple tables outside and a small parking lot, it is not a place to stay and eat at. However, the staff are friendly and most importantly, food is sooo good.“

“For a small cafe, this place is great with quick service and good food. My go to order is usually the Pokerito (Sushi Burrito wrapped in Nori). I usually order it with the Salmon Spicy Mayo. I've also had the Chicken Adobo Plate, Loco Moco, BBQ Pork Belly plate, grilled Salmon and Bone in Beef ribs (the larger ones) with mac salad and rice to die for. Flavors are consistent and I like the way they season the Mac salad.“

“This Hawaiian restaurant is managed by a nice Hawaiian and caring female manager. The food is authentic and is cooked fresh daily, and the prices are just right and reasonable.
Try the Chicken Bowl, which comes with brown rice and a large drink for only $8.75“

“For a small take out poke place, this was great. The fish was fresh, and all the ingredients in our poke bowls were well thought out. We had the mango albacore poke bowl and the shitake chili tofu bowl.

Lots of people came and picked up takeout. They do have two small tables in the front on the sidewalk. I would definitely get their poke bowls again. Not much atmosphere needless to say.“

“We were so stoked to find out Beach Hut still existed when we moved back to the area! Still the same menu as 20 years ago and still amazing Hawaiian comfort food. Great friendly staff in a much easier location to park then back in the day in Hermosa. We will be back many many more times!

“So the brother at the front counter, his name is Joel and he was extremely awesome and very helpful and helping me pick out what I wanted and his customer service was awesome. I really appreciated his care of detail and he made me feel just at home restaurant is very clean very Ohana and very well-maintained. They had a lot of good selection of meats, sides and drinks as well and I got a half-and-half, pineapple, chicken and lava Katsu chicken with Mac and veggies. It tastes so freaking good. It was awesome and they give you a lot of options on sauces as well but yeah, I recommend this place if you want real good authentic Hawaiian food so yeah it was a 10 out of 10 and I definitely recommend this location without a doubt, aloha and Mahalo.“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time on Saturday - it's my new favorite poke place! Lots of parking and no wait! More importantly, the bowl was delicious! I sat outside on the benches where I proceeded to devour the entire bowl! Got a mix of salmon and spicy tuna for the protein. They have lots of great veggies and toppings. I will be back!“

“This was my first experience at this establishment. First, I am satisfied with the welcoming atmosphere set by the representatives. Second, the wait time for the food was short. Finally, the food was A1. In particular, I got the teriyaki BBQ chicken and dumplings. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience.“

“We were just passing through and looking for something close to our hotel, and so happy we found this spot! Because it was our first time, we got complimentary chili - definitely see why it’s 7 times award winning! Very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and very accommodating to make sure our order is to our liking. We had 2 bento boxes, Kaula pork and bbq pork. The portion sizes were perfect and the meat was very flavorful. The sides of macaroni and cucumber salad were just as good. We also had one of their many specials of the day, fish tacos, which were incredibly fresh and simple, exactly what I want for fish tacos. Next time we’re visiting LA, we’ll be sure to be back!“

It is also close to the LAX Airport which makes it convenient for y’all to stop by on your way there or on your way back to y’all’s city if y’all are just dropping off someone. Price is very reasonable. They also have exclusive restroom just for the customers, I just hope they can make it a lil bit cleaner. They have friendly service but their food takes a lil bit long and limited seating inside. Aside from that no issues.Definitely recommended!“

“I love this place. I go almost at least once a week. The employees are wonderful. I have never had a bad or sad poke bowl. Everything is fresh. Trying to stay on the healthy side, I order small scoop of rice and all the sides they offer except for wasabi. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, but I have always restrain from getting the large. Two scoops of protein, which consist of tuna and salmon. A lovely alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend Mono Poke!“

“The restaurants they have here are great. They only have pickup to go since these are basically ghost kitchens. Check out their website to see all the restaurants and put together an order. You'll get a text when your food is ready, usually within 15 minutes of your order being placed. I'm especially fond of Figeroa Philly cheesesteak. The sandwiches and onion rings are great!“

“I just had this place for the first time and i had the chicken katsu with noodles and macaroni. And it was ok. Not bad but not good. Only when it comes to the flavor. But the way it was cooked was very well done. 👌
The portions in my opinion were good. Full plate. And the man that attended me was very good as well. Respectful and took my order how I want it. I hope this place does well and the only improvent that it needs is the flavor. I know they can be better in that aspect. I always want to support local business.“

“I found my new poke spot. They have poke, ice cream, and SUSHI here! The poke is extremely fresh and the price is the lowest I could find around me. The sushi rolls are really big and fresh. Look how cute the chopsticks are!! I believe they are made from bamboo. Overall the price, taste and portion sizes are 5/5 in my books This place is a must try if your in the area ^_~“

“I'll be honest. This is not the "highest quality" food. But for the price they offer, they give an insane amount of food. As a trainer, I can appreciate the fact that for 13 bucks, I can get multiple servings of lean protein, steamed veggies, and simple white rice. I have no idea why anyone would even go to Yoshinoya unless you can't find this spot in your immediate area. I'm sure the food is still processed to some extent, but I also have diverticulitis, so my body would respond immediately if it was trash food. I gave it 5 stars, but 4 on every mark. Because logically, I know that it can't be organic at the price they offer. That's the only reason they didn't get full 5s

“Delicious! The guy working was SO friendly and very helpful. Jumped right in to help us out on our first time ordering.

Poke was great! Loved all the topping and mix in options and the fish tasted fresh. Very good. The avocado I got was weirdly hard and really not edible… couldn’t even chew it, but I’m guessing it was just a fluke avocado situation. (You know how avocados can be. 🤷🏻‍♀️) Sauces were thick and flavorful. Best poke spot I’ve found in the area. 😋

Bonus points for a nice outdoor seating (with umbrellas!) and also a great location close enough to grab it to-go and head out for a beach picnic.“

“Stop by at L&L Hawaian Barbecue, small place for eat, i order the combination plate BBQ Mix (BBQ Chicken, BBQ Beef and BBQ Short Ribs) cost $18.95 for 1 box with 2 scoop rice, lil salad and macaroni. I choose this cos for me its more worth it than others menu.For drinks you can have freeflow soda cost $ 2.14 for medium size cup.“
