“Overall very good sushi spot. Plenty of rolls and other items to choose from. I will be back. The it’s a little off ocean ave and the inside looks a little dated in my opinion. The walls are covered in pictures which makes it look cluttered. I’m sure that’s a local thing. The service was pretty good although a little slow due to it being a little busy in there. I need to come back during their happy hour- three rolls for $20!“

“First time visited Monterey and decided to have sushi for dinner. Randomly walked in this restaurant and their food is amazing! The salmon belly literally melted in my mouth! Staffs are kind and friendly. Had a great dinner here. Will definitely come again when we’re back in town.“

“Called the night before to order the duck. We got there about 10 minutes earlier than we said we would pick it up and they were already cutting it up for us. They are very friendly there. The duck was perfect. Good to know I don't have to drive to San Jose or Oakland to get one now!“

“service was good, sushi has good flavor but is 1/3 what you get at other places. maybe 1/8th of a roll from Arigoto. For the same price. Up side is great service and never busy when I have been there. very good for last minute large groups.“

“We have coming here since it changed hands. We really enjoyed the previous owners and the new owners are keeping up with expectations.We usually get takeout and they are always very happy to help us get everything in the car.The food very good, including the Mongolian beef, snow peas and bbq pork, wonton soup and the house fried rice to name a few.Give them a try. I think you’ll like this place.“

“Picked up food to go last year and it was really good. So happy that we found this place again! Ordered garlic parm and spicy fried chicken wing plates, lemongrass chicken and beef meatball pho. Also ordered strawberry and melon boba milk tea and Vietnamese coffee with egg cream. Food and drinks came out quickly. Customer service was great. It was so good that we ate and drank everything! We will definitely come here again when we’re in the area.“

“So so yummy! Been coming here for years and always receive great service. The staff is always friendly and you can really tell how hard working everyone is because this place gets packed at times. There are options for everyone whether you’re gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan!
