“The toro was amazing. Super fatty and fresh and it came with a homemade wasabi that really brough it all together.The other rolls were good, well above average (especially for the area). The tamago was a bit dry and overcooked.Will be back for the toro at the very least!“
“Probably the best poke place in Monterey county, the fish and vegetables are fresh and it's not too expensive. There isn't much place to eat inside but it's great for take out, especially lunch. Definitely recommend going here!“
“First one of the three I ever visited and still my favorite. The wonton soup is everything and the basil popcorn chicken is delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming. I eat solo and I don't feel rushed even though it's dinner time and the place is busy....honestly when you're eating hot soup it's not like you can rush....?“

He is always so warm and friendly and makes great recommendations for specials and favorites!), fun and cozy atmosphere, and excellent food and drinks. I have never had a bad experience in all the times of coming here, and I always recommend the Godzilla tots and a Dr. Funk to all that come to Monterey. I also really appreciate the vegan options that they have as it can be difficult to accommodate my dietary needs with my friends and family who aren’t always also vegetarian or vegan.
