“My wife introduced me to this cool little deli/sandwich shop. We head there after my eye exams and sit in the outside patio among the oak trees and enjoy our sandwiches. She loves the roast beef and I dig the BBQ chicken on a SD roll. Don't complain about prices.. if you can't afford it stay “

“Big fan of Phil's Snack Shack (or typically I just call it "Little Phil's"). Best prices and good food from a local lunch favorite. However since the fish market moved the Castroville some of the Snack Recipes have been switched up. I'm definitely a regular and always order the egg salad, and lately it's gone from a really good classic/simple egg salad to having a lot of extra stuff in it (red onions, celery, carrots, pieces of lettuce ??? etc...). I love veggies, but not in my egg salad. I don't order the works specifically for this. If the price of eggs is an issue I'll say something maybe a little controversial but I would rather pay an extra dollar for the old egg salad recipe they were using a 1.5 years ago than pay the same price for the current. I will openly admit this is a very "I'm a regular blah blah blah" kind of thing to ask, but could be we get the old egg salad recipe back on the menu <3?“

“This family has been around a long time.I'm going to them over twenty years. You will not find places like this around anymore very family oriented. Very respectful and very professional at what they do.That's why they've been so successful all these years. Breakfast sandwiches are awesome, Lunch sandwiches are amazing. Solid local place. “Yes yes yes this place is the spot! Owned by the same family forever, I love that it's literally a local sandwich shop. Usually I get their turkey sandwich but I switched it up and got a meatball sub...let me tell you..SO good! Their macaroni salad is a must buy when you go in. I love the fact they sell Icecream and cookies too! My daughter loves their cinnamon buns.“

“Great group of people running this hole in the wall deli. Great food and good prices. Only downside is that there's no seating inside. It's also right next to the post office, so there's only 10 minute parking anywhere nearby. As long as you know you're coming to grab and go then this is the place to go to.“

“First time at this Deli. I really like it. Lots of great things to buy. I got the Uncle Philly sandwich and bought some Italian amaretti cookies which are awesome. Very cool atmosphere. Great service. They have seating out front or you can take the food to go. They serve wine, beer and other drinks. Something for everybody.Wheelchair accessibility: Big wide front door and there's a 3 minute unloading zone right out front so you can pop in real quick and somebody can go park their car and come back.“

“An oasis of deliciousness for two hungry travelers. We both had the Unagi bento, rich and suuculant on an amazing bed of delicious rice. The salad was fresh and the dressing was heavenly. Even tne pickled veg was beautifully done. My wife bought a box of green tea, mild, flavorful and a bargain. I didn't try the flan yet because it was a full meal but i am certain the quality is consistsnt and I hope to return soon to enjoy another excellent experince from Ocean Sushi Deli's fabulous menu.“
