“This was a fun find we stumbled upon. The donuts were super tasty and made to order. We had a blood orange, tangerine cardamom, and vanilla bean. They were all delicious, but blood orange was the best. Most fun though was watching them make our donuts and more at the window. “Fully vegan donut shop in Monterey, and with a few other locations. Very fancy donuts made in the store. The staff is very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. The restaurant has a fun theme with a statue and wall murals. When we went in December they had a snow (foam) machine to make it snow!Vegetarian options: All Vegan!“
“Still a 4 star donut shop but going to have to dock a point because of their bagels. Not sure if they make the bagels themselves, or bring them in from somewhere else... either way, the bagels could use some more work. Both the look and texture is just like sandwich bread but with cream cheese. It was like biting into a loaf of white bread from the grocery store. Not super enjoyable. Hopefully they take these off their shelves. Donut note: under new ownership for a while now so I do feel that the donuts don't have the same flavor. Coffee note: they now serve lattes and have specialty kinds. Haven't given it a try yet but would like to soon! They use a roaster called DCR (Dillanos Coffee Roasters), so I appreciate already that it's not some basic or chain coffee like starbucks, peets, etc.“
“Was sick as a dog from the flu and was craving donuts. So ubereat a cinnamon donut and a glazed twist. Then I noticed they had a bagel sandwich too, so ordered a turkey avocado. It had so many layers of deliciousness, the bagel was crispy on the outside soft on the inside and literally cured me! I ate the donuts too fast to even get a photo, but they were so fresh, soft and the perfect amount of sweetness. Make sure you stop by Red's if you want the real deal!“

“My kids requested we stopped in to see what doughnuts this shop offered on our morning coffee run. My daughter opted out for just a drink and my youngest ordered a few cake doughnuts. There wasn't much of a variety here with bagels or doughnuts. It was disappointing, but the lady in-store was nice. If I was to return, I would come in earlier.“
“it’s true - everything about this place is high quality ! still the best donut i’ve ever had & i’ve lived in San Francisco, NYC, Los Angeles & Tokyo. Every time I visit my hometown I make sure to stop by my Sunshine Donut for that simple classic donut in a quaint little plaza in South Salinas. None of that hipster cereal or inventive recipes…. just pure nostalgic flavors. Super lovely owner too. Go & support this place, you’ll see why everyone loves it!“
“Went to Red's on Saturday, March 2nd for the first time. I'll give 3 ratings since I tried three different donuts. 1) 5/5* and my favorite I ordered was the Apple Fritter!! Just perfect in every way you can think of. Don't skip the Apple Fitter 2) 5/5* Maple Bacon Donut. Sweet, salty, and savory all in one accompanied with an incredibly soft and fluffy middle. 2nd favorite and simply outstanding. 3) 3.5/5* Cinnamon Crumb Donut. Good but didn't hit like the other two. I would eat it again but not necessarily order it again. Dryer than the other two and the cinnamon was a bit overpowering in comparison to the sugar/sweetness. One of the very best donut shops I've ever been to. Make sure you stop by Reds!!! Unbelievable quality and friendly service. 5/5 easy and that's a difficult score for me to give out but they deserve it!!!“
“Later in the day- I think around 3 or 4pm, I ordered a huge chicken and bagel sandwich, made fresh and customized and loved it. Then was able to to order any of their doughnuts or mini doughnuts. They were delicious, and everyone was happy with size and flavor since they were able to get exactly what they wanted. Usually, pick of doughnuts is slim at this time at other places!“
“I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Alexis and the cake she created for our wedding! Alexis completely nailed the design from the single inspiration photo I sent her, and as for the cake itself - oh my goodness! We scheduled a tasting with her a few months before our wedding, only to end up choosing the most incredible, decadent cake flavors possible, including: chocolate mud brownie, cookie butter, and a custom strawberries & cream layer.
