“The barbecue oysters are fantastic! The clam chowder was a bit of a disappointment. I'd had it about 10 years ago, and it was the best I've ever had. It was briny, full of plump clams, and while it was creamy, it was not thick. What I was served was thick with no evidence of clams. It was like chowder served at Midwestern diners. The service was really attentive and helpful. I'll be back for the oysters, but I'll pass on the chowder next time.“

“We were lucky not to be there on a weekend. The place is a no nonsense eatery swarming with flies and bees. Food is as expected fresh from the sea and different options of trying out the oysters. Unfortunately many of them have pork items inside it so it is really an issue for those who do not eat pork. Prices are on the higher side and service is swift. There are makeshift cabins for toilets. A plus point was the free wifi which was really very helpful as there are no 5G signals in that area.

“We had an absolutely amazing meal and evening last night here. Broiled oysters, fried squash blossoms, fresh halibut, both delicious desserts and a lovely bottle of Chenin Blanc! It was a perfect ending to a 10 mile hike! Darling Ariella (hope I spelled her name correctly) served us and was delightful and so accommodating! We will be back!!“

“I just had the best taco of my entire life. It was rabbit sausage with a salsa macha and persimmon. The tortillas were delicious, the sausage was plentiful and juicy, and the salsa macha was the right amount of hot and flavorful. Sooooo good.“

“The seating can be a bit tight and close to other patrons depending on where you sit. The food and service is on point! I enjoyed everything I ate. Drinks were quick to be refilled. The private bathrooms are clean and comfortable. I would definitely dine here again.“

“Best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Not that thick and chunky stuff, but thinned with white wine (I think), cream, clams in the shell, small bits of quality bacon, fresh cod, potatoes, fresh chives - so good!! We happened to catch some really good live music on the patio overlooking the beach. Great view and really cute interior design. Def recommend!“
