“So my friends invited us here because it was allegedly haunted and although we didn't see a ghost it was still really fun! It's a really unique bar, super small and intimate, and since it's next to the Pantages Theatre you get to see a lot of interesting characters. The vibe is cool, and not serious, I would say it's a good place to get the feel of HOLLYWOOD.“

“One of my favorite dive bars in town. Inexpensive drinks ($11 for my Ford's Gin 'n tonic) and excellent service from the bartenders. On a slow night Justin can easily keep up with drink orders while beating you at darts. Dodgers and Lakers games usually on the TVs. Last call at 1:30 am most nights. There's one scruffy pool table in the bar, one dart board, and the men's room has more graffiti than most men's rooms. It gets packed Thursdays through Saturdays. Plenty of friendly people in the bar. Very diverse crowd. One night as I was walking up, a woman stumbled out and threw up right at the entrance. Everyone just stepped over it to get in. The only thing this place is missing is good bar food, but you're welcome to bring your own. Monty's is next door where you can get a good plant-based burger, or you can go across the street to Carl's Jr and get a Star Burger for half the price. Loads of excellent Korean food nearby. It would be nice if someone opened a taco stand in the parking lot at the corner. No parking, of course, and this part of K-Town can be tough to find a spot. Best to Uber/Lyft anyway. “Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.“
“Party it up at offbeat where chill vibes and good music fill up your night.Everyone was jamming and dancing on the main floor, it can get tight but in a good way just like o’ times getting that jump boogie on.It was y2k night so they were playing all the pop hits from the 2000’s 90’s 80’s that get you to groove and rock out to.They play no doubt don’t speak and everyone sang their hearts out, it was a moment.Such a mix ground and feels like the kickback block party where everyone from the neighborhood comes through.They got booths along the side wall with small tables for that vip section, they even had a photographer with a backdrop set up to take them old school portraits.Long bar so plenty of room to go up and grab a drink.They have a HUGE smoking patio out back with plenty of seating with tables under the canopy but also standing areas to vibe with your tribe, crew or old click as if it were back in the days of high school.There’s also one of those old school Photo Booths that prints outOver all chill spot and finally a spot where people actually dance and vibe with each other.All mixed and wide age groups.This is the homie spot that makes you appreciate highland park.“

“My friend and i came here on Christmas Day and i was so glad they were open.Andrew is our bartender and he was very attentive to all our orders. He made every drink we ordered and they were actually very satisfying. The portions were all right and they tasted exactly as how they should.Food choices were limited to chips but there is a satisfying amount of entertainment from dart boards, a jukebox and a pool table. “We came here on a whim because "the Dive" was packed and we didn't want to wait. We've been here to the Creat few times in thr past and it was good from our past experience. The entrance is at the back, by the parking lot. We came right in and we seated ourselves at the 2nd booth because all the other booths and bar were filled with people. We waited and found out through yelp that you look at the board for a dinner menu and an appetizer menu. It's very simple, steak for $14.99 or burger for $7.49. Cheeseburger is 7.99. The one lady was busy serving and cooking so we ordered with the bartender. It took a while for our food because she's the only one person. We started off with their fried zucchini sticks and they were delicious!! It's far cheaper than any place for fried zucchinis for $4.99 and ut was a giod amount. It came with two ranch dressings for dipping sauce. Soon our steak dinner plate and cheeseburger plate came and we enjoyed both. They have about 7 tvs to watch sports or whatever happens to be on. Both the bartender and the lady server/chef were pleasant to talk to. While I was yelping, I happen to leave my phone at our booth and we paid and left. After an hour later, I had realized my phone wasn't with me so our daughter called them to ask, sure enough they had it to the side for us to pick it up. They're great honest people and I would return any day for a simple meal!! Thanks very much!!“
“Great neighborhood spot. Stopped in for pre-dinner drinks on a Saturday evening. It seemed like everyone knew each other and was having a chill time watching the NCAA tourney. My whiskey sour was just right, and at $6, an absolute steal. My friends showed up soon after, and all enjoyed their drinks. Would definitely come back if in the area.“
“Love this bar. Linda is probably one of the best bartenders in Hollywood. It's primarily metal but opens the door for a lot of alternative music. Parking isn't great but you should take an Uber or a get a designated driver if you plan on grabbing drinks in Hollywood.“
“A cash only dive bar, it's very dark inside. They open at 8am, which is perfect for night shift workers. They always greet you with a smile. Drinks are reasonable and you will always walk away laughing because it is a fun atmosphere to relax and get cocktails. They also do Karaoke on Sunday nights, it's busy, but great singers and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend if you need a great dive bar. Parking is usually available in the parking lot or on the street nearby. Just watch out for street cleaning signs if you leave your car.“

“This was the first place I came once I hit my grand 21. I absolutely love it. Diana is a sweetheart, she treats you like family, I've been coming here almost a year now. I'm on a first name basis with most of the bartenders, they're all great, I absolutely feel welcomed and valued here. I try to come here at least once a month, I love the ambiance here. The patrons here are always friendly and welcoming ❤ They're the best of the best here. 10/10 recommend. These are all mostly true of Club Tee Gee and yet, I still find myself coming back.When you walk in, yeah, it's dark and dingy, but that's kind of the charm of this place. While everything in LA is modern and trendy, this feels like a bygone era. There's leather booths, a juke box in the back, a long bar, and during the day, the curtains are drawn.You walk up to the bar and the process is pretty simple...get something on tap, canned, or get a cocktail of your choice. The options are plentiful and while I haven't had to try, it seems the bartenders know what they're doing and can probably make anything you want. Price wise, everything is pretty reasonable.If dark and dingy isn't your thing, step out onto their back patio and enjoy the picnic tables, string lights, and when chilly enough, heaters. Come with your dog and enjoy a variety of different events ranging from performances, DJs, and the occasional pinewood derby race.They don't serve food here, but there's usually a food truck or pop up. The main reason for coming here is the almost weekly visit by Yellow Paper Burger. “Decent venue, nothing fancy, but is affordable, sometimes you can snag a spot on the street near by, they have cool acts and events. I am surprised I never reviewed it since I have been going to the Echo for over 10 years for concerts, NYE parties and always had a good time. The crowd is OK, bathrooms clean enough, drinks are reasonably priced. I like their DJ-s and their sets, really fun and gets you on that dance floor. “The Anarchy Library has been on my list for a long time. It's one of those places that everyone says you should check out. I finally had a chance to go this past Friday. It was so much fun! The DJ played '80s, darkwave, new wave, rock en Español, and 2000s indie hits like "Deceptacon" by Le Tigre and "12:51" by The Strokes. Solid playlist. There is a $5 cash cover on Fridays and Saturdays. Bring cash! Import beers like Stella and Modelo are $6. Anarchy Library has a dive bar feel which I loved. I didn't think it was "dirty," I thought it was unique. It reminds me of the rocker divey bars in Austin, TX. Lots of rock and punk posters on the walls. The dancefloor is small, but it worked. The crowd was really vibing with each other. I would say the age range was about 21-45 or so. You won't feel too old or too young coming here which is amazing. That is a big reason for the 5 stars. This is one of the best crowds I've danced with in a long time. Even though we were strangers, we felt a connection with each other. That's good stuff. Dancing in the post "me too" movement hits different. None of the guys were aggressive or trying to hit on us. I felt they read the room and didn't try to talk to us unless we talked to them first. I could just enjoy catching up with my girlfriends without being bothered. I will be coming back often. I had a great time here!“

“It's a very small bar but it has a cozy feel to it. On any given night the owners hire bands to play indoors. They did have a nice outdoor patio area that offered way more room and seating. The room allowed for several musicians at a time to play and entertain. Not sure why they closed it up though. Now it becomes too tight in the bar. The owners are super nice people. They went out of there way to make everyone feel welcome on NYE and had free delicious food, layed out buffet style, in another room, for free for everyone. They are definitely special people. It's a good place to hang out with friends.“
