“What can I say about Jack in the Box? It is one of the best hamburger chains around. In my opinion, it is far superior to McDonald's or Burger King. I first ate at a Jack in the Box when I transferred to San Diego, CA in 1980. Jack in the Box was just on the West Coast in those year, but I had heard about it even while living back east. It was love at first bite for their hamburgers and fries! The menu has expanded quite a bit over the years and it is still great food at very reasonable prices. Love their numerous breakfast options (available any time), burgers, curly fries, and their unique tacos. In addition to the West Coast states, Jack in the Box now has locations in Colorado, the Southwest and select locations in the Southeast and Midwest. I hope it expands more in the future. The entire USA deserves Jack in the Box. I am lucky to live in a city covered by many Jack in the Box restaurants.”

“A very magical place! If you love ambience and themed eateries, I suggest you make a reservation here! We went on a Wednesday night and there was still a wait even with a reservation. The place is pretty small but they make up for it in decoration. Think pirates of the Caribbean! We sat on a high table in the Captains Quarters. The drinks are expensive but very strong, as the name of the establishment suggests. I ordered the drunken noodles and banana batida, hubby ordered the shrimp appetizer and zombie king drink. It was intimate and fun. If you love this theme, reserve for your next date night.”

“The Duck Confit Spliff is a great representation of the Vietnamese & French cultures “wrapped” up all in one dish. And for a more traditional & fun way to eat it, you definitely have to use your hands. My only wish was for a little more duck in the spliff.

With the Ebelskivers, the concept was again brilliant. The garlic emulsion creates an intense garlic flavor but in a light and airy way. But like takoyaki, I wish there was more escargot in the batter to remind me more of that chewy feel from the traditional dish.

The surprise star of our meal was the Royale with Cheese. The wagyu had great flavor and char. And the sesame seed bun held up well for this napkin-required burger. But those pickles were amazing nuggets of necessity to add balancing acidity to the richness of the dish.

We definitely want to try the Duck Breast, the Spanish Octopus, and the Prix Fixe Meal on future visits. A final thanks to Chef & Curtis for the friendly service and explanation of the menu.”

“The burgers were amazing- so tender and juicy for a default medium/medium well burger! The fried chicken sandwich was also so juicy and yet crispy, in fact I think my friend and I both preferred that, please don’t tell the owners! Just kidding..but it was great. Very light batter, but just enough crunch. The mochi waffle was yummy, and the combo of hot waffle and cold ice cream was uber-comforting. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple but extremely well thought-out meal.”

“1st time coming to taco Nazo. They had security for parking and figured they must get really busy. Had their famous fish tacos, pastor tacos, shrimp taco and mixed ceviche. Definitely coming back for the fish and shrimp tacos! The was fish was crispy and soft. I’ve had grilled jalapeños before but the yellow chili with seasoning was amazing too. Anita was super friendly but so was everyone else.”

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.”
