“What can I say about Jack in the Box? It is one of the best hamburger chains around. In my opinion, it is far superior to McDonald's or Burger King. I first ate at a Jack in the Box when I transferred to San Diego, CA in 1980. Jack in the Box was just on the West Coast in those year, but I had heard about it even while living back east. It was love at first bite for their hamburgers and fries! The menu has expanded quite a bit over the years and it is still great food at very reasonable prices. Love their numerous breakfast options (available any time), burgers, curly fries, and their unique tacos. In addition to the West Coast states, Jack in the Box now has locations in Colorado, the Southwest and select locations in the Southeast and Midwest. I hope it expands more in the future. The entire USA deserves Jack in the Box. I am lucky to live in a city covered by many Jack in the Box restaurants.“

“Excellent taco spot in Costa Mesa. The atmosphere is great and they have delicious food. The poke nachos were a stand out item and I especially loved the ribeye taco. Worth checking out!

“Hidden semi hole in the wall taco spot. Located in a large plaza with plenty of free self parking. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. You can see them preparing all the ingredients as well as tacos cuesadillas, and burritos. There are a few indoor tables and seating. There's also a small salsa bar.
The menu is limited and straight forward. Basically choose the type of meat you prefer.
This is not fast food. It takes time to prepare fresh food made to order.
Tried the shrimp vampiros. It's kind of like a tostada so best to eat that first since the shell will fall apart if you eat your tacos or burritos first. It's very yummy!
Also tried the chicken taco. It was ok...nothing special about it.

Definitely get the free onion and jalapeno.

The salsa bar has your
typical tomatoes, onions, limes, etc. but it would've been nice if they had cilantro
There's also two containers with free beans so make sure to grab some.

Prices are a bit high for the tacos at $3.25. The vampiro is priced right at $4.15
Portions are a bit small but they make up for it with the free beans and salsa bar.

If you're in the area, it's worth a try. There are better Taco spots elsewhere, imo.“

I can eat the fish tacos all day, but if you ever crave something else- the tacos dorados are also delicious- beans, requeson or potato- all so good! This place is an absolute must! Everything from the meats, to the tortillas, to the sauces, even the customer service, EVERYTHING was spectacular!!! “I am surprised to not see more people whenever I go eat here, as well as more reviews. I have eaten at this location 4x now and the taste and service has been consistent. They have a good variety of meats and options to choose from. Best part is that they have delicious tacos for only $1! They are small tacos with 2 tortillas, but they are topped well and the salsas do not disappoint. I like the touch of the added chopped cabbage on the taco. I definitely suggest you give this truck a try. $1 tacos everyday!“

“I have tried many taco places in Anaheim and this one is by far one of the best! The al pastor and carne asada tacos were both perfectly seasoned and tender. The place has many seats available. “The burritos are amazing the meat options are incredible it is definitely on the more expensive side but you can get everything from filet mignon to octopus in any of the meals tacos burritos or nachos. “Stopped by tonight after a gala and enjoyed their quesobirrio pizza, variety of tacos such as pork belly and pastor, and asada waffle fries. Huge portions on the fries and the pizza was probably a average medium. I had the pork belly which was flavorful and delicious. I'm super picky on my pastor, so these weren't my favorite, though they were very good. The waffle fries were wonderfully crispy. My favorite was the pizza. It was crispy, flavorful, and freaking delicious. They're open until 11 pm and when we left there was a decent group of people waiting. The chef said that if there's a line they keep serving. Now, that's dedication. They also own the barber shop, so maybe check that out if you need a cut. I'll be back for sure. The food was on point and their customer service was fantastic. “We loved this place for takeout! The cashier/chef was so attentive even though he was the only one working. He even gave us extra consommé. The toppings he included with our tacos were more than we even needed - homemade pickled onion, onion, cilantro and hot sauce.
