“What can I say about Jack in the Box? It is one of the best hamburger chains around. In my opinion, it is far superior to McDonald's or Burger King. I first ate at a Jack in the Box when I transferred to San Diego, CA in 1980. Jack in the Box was just on the West Coast in those year, but I had heard about it even while living back east. It was love at first bite for their hamburgers and fries! The menu has expanded quite a bit over the years and it is still great food at very reasonable prices. Love their numerous breakfast options (available any time), burgers, curly fries, and their unique tacos. In addition to the West Coast states, Jack in the Box now has locations in Colorado, the Southwest and select locations in the Southeast and Midwest. I hope it expands more in the future. The entire USA deserves Jack in the Box. I am lucky to live in a city covered by many Jack in the Box restaurants.”

“A bit of a long wait but awesome atmosphere, themed drinks and bits of food and dessert! The chicken katsu and mushroom lettuce wrap were amazing, the spectacle of the Serpents Grasp was awesome! You can definitely taste the alcohol (in a good way). Our server, Jordan was not only very charismatic but very knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating to us and our dietary and allergy restrictions! Definitely looking forward to coming back!”

“Cute lil spot with outdoor seating. Food looked great that was rolling out while we waited in queue to our order and get a table. Eggs, omelettes, sandwiches, breakfast burritos, sides, and pancakes. Has a lunch menu too if that's your thing but breakfast goes till 2pm. Highly recommend a visit. We'll be going back to say hi to Billy and try more items off the menu.”

“My second time visiting this great establishment. Once again, the pizza and all that they serve is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I had some caprese , burata, Fior Di Latte and the Vespa Pizza along with a Limonata Rosa. Our Service Yadira was amazing and very attentive. She was very helpful with any questions we had. “We’ve been here four times now, which is probably the best compliment I can give. When Mo Ran Gak is at its best, it’s one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Southern California. When it’s off, the inconsistency keeps it from being a five star experience.

The first visit was outstanding. The galbi was perfectly seasoned, not overly sweet, not overly salty, with great caramelization and tenderness. The naengmyeon was exactly what you hope for. Icy cold with crunchy ice still floating in the broth, crisp vegetables and incredibly refreshing.

The second visit was a completely different experience. The galbi was noticeably drier and under seasoned and the naengmyeon arrived only slightly cold. The ice had already melted, which takes away one of the best parts of great naengmyeon. The slices of beef that come with the noodles have also been consistently dry. That may be traditional, but it’s never been the highlight of the dish.

The service is probably the weakest part of the restaurant. Nobody has ever been outright rude, but it’s difficult to get someone’s attention and the staff generally feels indifferent. You can tell they’re busy, but hospitality often feels like an afterthought. I’d probably rate the service around a 3 out of 5.

The restaurant itself is older but clean, with a comfortable atmosphere and moderate noise. Parking can be frustrating and there’s usually a wait, but that’s expected for a popular spot.

One thing I really enjoy is the complimentary crispy pancake they bring out. Honestly, I’d happily eat an entire plate of it. The banchan are solid overall, though fairly average.

Despite the inconsistency, I still think this is some of the best naengmyeon and especially bibim naengmyeon you’ll find in the Los Angeles area. That’s why we keep coming back. I just hope they can deliver the same level of quality every visit because when they do, it’s genuinely excellent.”

“The best place to try Bosnian food! I can’t pick one favorite, from cevapi to pizza to pita , this food taste like homemade. All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day.
