“House of Bagels near SJSU is a great family-owned shop. The bagels are fire, especially the salmon bagel, but anything you get will definitely taste good. There’s usually a line, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Parking can be hit or miss, so be prepared to walk a bit.“

“I came early in the morning and bought a dozen donuts here. Cool mom & pop store, and I’m happy to support a local business. The people working there, which I’m assuming are the owners, provided friendly and excellent service for a first-time customer like me. My coworkers loved the donuts, and I might come here again if I ever crave a good donut place near my house.“

“As you walk into City Bagels, you’re hit by the delicious scent of warm bagels and baked goods. It permeates the air and makes you hungry. This family owned bagel shop is the kind of place that I am glad to spend my money.

Their drinks were not much to write home about - they were in boba cups. I had an iced chai which was a little watery(?) and was okay. The real stand out is the bagels. They have many flavors (I recommend Jalapeno Cheddar, which was a nice kick throughout the bagel). The ham and cheese bagel sandwich is very clean to eat on the go and tasty.

The lines are a little long and they seemed to get other peoples’ orders wrong, but for me it was a great experience!“

My friend took me here for `gourmet' bagels. We tried the following:
1. pesto bagel with jalapeno cream cheese -- had (fresh?) crunchy chopped jalapeno in an otherwise reddish cheese. I couldn't clearly taste the pesto.
2. marinara bagel sun-dried tomato and garlic cream cheese --- I liked this one better, could taste the Italian-pizza flavour.

These bagels are thin, and are puffy and not tight/dense.
Thinner (shorter) bagels and a thinner layer of cream cheese compared to that of an NYC bagel.
The cream cheese is slightly melted, and that's nice.“

“I like this shop better than the other bagel place cafes I have tried. Ordered an egg bacon cheese on tomato basil and the blueberry crunch with cream cheese. The bacon is actually very crispy unlike the soggy bacon I have tasted at other places, and they toast the bagels a little more as well, which I like. The tomato basil was excellent and you can’t go wrong with the blueberry crunch. Will definitely be back!“

“We ordered the sausage, egg & cheese bagel and the lox bagel. The ingredients were very fresh, and besides bagels, they also have other bread options in the store. There are only a few tables, so seating is limited. We also tried their Vietnamese coffee, which was just okay.

“I had a whole wheat bagel with butter and jam, and my companion had a whole wheat bagel with a western omelette. We also ordered an iced latte and an iced white mocha latte. The food was good, and the service was very good. They had a healthy line of customers the entire time we were there. But I wish that the seating were more ample and more pleasant.“

“I moved to Santa Clara about 5 years ago and this is the ONLY bagel shop we ever go to!! The food is fantastic, always fresh ingredients and delicious bagels. The staff is always so friendly, nice, and helpful.

But my favorite thing on the entire menu is the Vietnamese Iced Coffee!!! This is a little known hidden gem, but Cramer's Bagels proudly offers the most delicious iced coffee available on the entire planet. I simply do not go to Starbucks anymore. The flavor and energy is unmatched!

Basically if there was a rating higher than 5 stars I would give it. You won't be disappointed!“

I ordered the turkey avocado croissant sandwich along with a Vietnamese coffee, and both were excellent. The sandwich was delicious—fresh veggies, great flavor, and perfectly balanced. Even better, the sandwiches are under $10, which is rare these days.

The Vietnamese coffee had just the right kick and paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

“Came in for large coffee and bacon, egg and cheese on plain bagel. Coffee was strong which I like and bagel was a delight: toasted with bacon fried just right( I don't like crisp, crunchy bacon). Bit into a freshly made puffy bagel and took a drink of hot coffee. Simple but very delicioso for me. There are only 2 dine-in customers besides myself. Majority of customers just order takeout. Cost me $10 something for my bagel and coffee. They have breakfast bagels, spread on bagels, bagel sandwiches, espresso drinks, smoothies and milk tea. Convenient location with Safeway, Ross and other businesses in lot. Across the street from Central library.“

They also make Vietnamese coffee and sandwiches, as well as a variety of other Vietnamese food. I've been coming here for years and the quality of the food is really good and they are extremely fast. “Please ignore the 1 Star review. They think it’s a scam and it’s not. I used TooGoodToGo to purchase pretzel dogs and the deal was 3 pretzel dogs for $9.99. I figured I was going to get day-old pretzel dogs, but they made them fresh and I was floored. I have used Toogoodtogo for other places, and it would either be day-old or some thing they made in the morning that I was picking up in the evening for other places I tried, but Mountain View Pretzel Dog was fresh and the pretzel hotdogs were tasty. I couldn’t believe what a deal I got. Out of all the places I tried in the app, This was the best one. Pretzels are as good as Auntie Anne’s but just not as buttery. I would definitely buy from them again.“
