“Fantastic experience at Once Upon a Dosa! I’ll break my review down into a few simple categories.

Food: very very tasty chicken keema dosa! Chai was also very nice and piping hot as it should be on a chilly day.

Service: top notch service. Friend ordered the OG roast Dosa and didn’t realize it came with no potatoes. Upon simple explanation, and at no extra charge, they gave us a serving of potatoes for his dosa to upgrade it since we had a misunderstanding.

Price: pricey by my southern standards but for SF, not bad at all especially considering the portions. Plus the drinks were not expensive at all which was icing on the cake.

Would 100% recommend for a very tasty quick bite, and excellent friendly service!“

“Rocko’s Ice Cream offers very high-quality, flavorful ice cream in a nice and welcoming environment. Their taco ice cream is especially unique, creative, and fun to try.

The only downside was the service and preparation time, which felt somewhat slow even though there were not many customers. Overall, it is a great place for delicious and creative desserts, but the service could be more efficient.“

“My friend and I had visited Boltiful Kitchen for lunch. I had Vegan Miso Tofu Bowl. As someone who loves veggies and is plant based, this is hands-down an amazing bowl to order. The miso glazed tofu, the veggies and sweet potatoes noodles are delicious 😋🤤. Another highlight is that the bowl speaks for itself with tofu and doesn't try to mimic any mock meat options which is a win.
The staff are also very polite and our overall experience was amazing. I am coming back again with more friends!! I just wish Boltiful would expand to more places“

“TBH I was hesitant at first to eat at Acopia. As a vegan, most Mexican restaurants do not usually have options for me. Their menu is somewhat minimal and limited, so entered with few expectations or hopes that I could order anything more than a salad. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The owner came to our table and was most accommodating. I ordered a succulent nopales salad, street corn and some delicious blue corn sopes de calabasita (zucchini and flower). It was all quite tasty and I was even more surprised when she brought out some vegan mayo AND vegan cheese to top off my food with more flavor. The atmosphere is very modern and simply styled, mirroring their “chic” food menu. I found the food delicious though a bit on the bland side, but was grateful that they came through for me and my vegan diet. I left sated and happy that I could fully participate in the meal alongside my meat-eating friends. The owner was very thoughtful and really went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of choices to order. Although it was a bit pricey, I will definitely go back again. The modern ambiance, the attentive service and the fancy yet rustic food combined to make a lovely evening meal.“

“This is a restaurant with a very stylish decoration. The classical decoration makes people feel like they are back in the past era when dining. I think everyone can experience it. At the same time, the food in the restaurant is still very delicious.“

“We ordered take-out pizza this afternoon and it was excellent! We ordered Cowell’s Combo and replaced the bells and onions with artichoke hearts. We were offered coupon pricing over the phone and the customer service was outstanding. I picked up our pizza right as it was coming out of the oven and the customer service provided was perfect. We got a nice bag of plates, napkins, peppers and Parmesan. Service with a smile is unusual these days and so it was refreshing. The quality of the crust and generous toppings made for a delicious pizza. We’ll be back!“

“If you want donuts that are actually fresh—and I mean fresh out of the oven all day long—this is the place.
The prices are incredibly reasonable compared to everywhere else in the area, which is a huge bonus. Everything we’ve tried is delicious, but the donut holes are always a massive hit with the kids in our family. My older son is obsessed with the regular glazed cakes, and my husband never leaves without his maple rounds and maple bars. I couldn’t even get a good picture of them before most were already eaten up!

One thing that really sets them apart is the icing—it’s always freshly made, perfectly soft, and never that hard, crunchy texture you find at other shops. You can honestly taste the love they put into their recipes. On top of that, the owner and staff are so kind; they truly love our community and always make you feel like they’re genuinely looking forward to seeing your face in their shop every single day. “Food was excellent! Flat iron steak was done med rare as ordered. Chicken with cranberry sauce and brussels sprouts was perfect. The delicious apple/caramel bread pudding definitely enough to share. The atmosphere is an older converted garage but it is well worth going for the food!

“I like pho and this places serves it really well!

Got the house special selection large size and it came out really fast. Comes with all the ingredients you would expect from an excellent pho. There were a lot of noodles in there and the broth was super tasty! The beef was also quite enjoyable. I would definitely come back to eat more pho.

“This is such a great spot for shopping, dining and a csaual hangout with friends. There is a huge luxury section along with utility stores like Apple, etc. My favourite go-to spots are Maiko for matcha, Eataly and Din Tai Fung for food (when you’ve managed to get a reservation!!)“

“This Neighborhood Sports Bar with plenty of TVs pours stiff drinks on the cheap and will turn the Juke Box off for football games 😉. They have a huge draw for Karaoke on the weekends, too.
Jake's and Puerto Azul Restaurants share the same building for food or snacks.

Jessica was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. We ordered a small vintage wedding cake for our cake cutting photos, and also ordered an assortment of mini desserts for our guests.

The cake was exactly what we asked for, and Jessica was able to accommodate our pet cake topper from Etsy on the side of the cake too. We got so many compliments on the desserts from our guests. I would definitely recommend Fancy Flavors to anyone looking for custom cakes or dessert catering.“

“Sushi O Sushi is amazing!! We usually drop in for lunch and a couple times for dinner. We get the bento boxes with teryaki chicken, California rolls, and sashimi (tuna or salmon) the miso soup is great and the salad with that delicious dressing is perfect. We always stop here and you shoukd definitely give it a try.“

“It was great everything about it was exactly what we can expect from P.F. Chang's. The service was excellent. The time of the food was excellent. The quality of the food was fantastic and then we made some specific comments to the manager to communicate our pleasure experience. We would definitely come back, especially if this location and we always like to visit P.F. Chang's whenever we're close by.“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. I love Mexican food but just wanted something else). I had no idea what to expect. So glad we stumbled across it. It was so good. If we were here for more than one night, I would definitely return. The staff were awesome. So friendly and welcoming. The food was so good and opened my eyes, (and stomach), to a new cuisine. The price was very reasonable. “I’ve tried quite a few places around here, and Moonbowls is easily the healthiest bowl option I’ve found. I’ve become a regular customer because the food is fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced.

My personal favorite is the tofu bowl — it’s satisfying, and doesn’t feel heavy at all.

“My wife has celiac disease, and this is one of our go-to spots for delicious Chinese food. Sometimes, I’ll eat her gluten free food from here and can’t tell that it was gluten free. We’ve eaten here so many times, and she never gets a reaction. The servers and staff here are very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend going here if you’re looking for very good Chinese food with solid gluten free choices!“
