“Wonderful food and great service!“

“It ain’t your regular taco stand on the side of the road that you know more times than not has some home made tacos. This is one that’s nestled in the plaza off of Alicia pwky! It was late Friday night and there was a line out of the restaurant. I was worried about the wait, but worries were assuaged when the line was dispatched quickly by the friendly cashier. Service was super fast, and food came out in 10 min. The restaurant gives party vibes for either taco Tuesday or any night of the weekend. Don’t sit on this restaurant, Taco Stand up and run for it when finding a place where you’re getting authentic flavor in south county!

“We just moved to Mission Viejo and found this place. We love Mexican food and have been to many places at all price ranges. Casitas Tacos beat them all in a tiny little place. Great friendly service, large menu selection, best home made tortilla chips and salsa, and the food is incredibly delicious. Love this place and will keep coming back.“

“Taco Tuesday at Perla’s Taqueria is unbeatable! We tried the crispy carne asada and crispy carnitas tacos — both were loaded with meat and packed with incredible flavor. You can tell how good it is by how busy it gets, and for good reason. Great food, great deal, and great vibes. Definitely my new go-to spot for Taco Tuesday!“

“I tried their “Dos Enchiladas Rojas” with black beans, Salsa Mango and Pico de Gallo sauces. It’s apart of their new $10 bundle deals. I’d say the Enchilades were very good. The chicken was a little burned. But eating the Enchilada with beans and chips really helped bring all the flavor together. I truly enjoyed this meal!

“Recommend coming here. Big fan of Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. Got their carne asada and the meat was delicious. Enjoyed their chips and salsa. The salsa had a smoky bite to it. Rice, beans, and enchilada was to be expected but delicious. Safe to say that I stuffed myself good.

Service was good and quick. Nothing amazing, hence the 4 stars.

Same goes for the atmosphere. Just your standard sit down, which isn’t bad at but nothing amazing.

All in all I enjoyed the food and would go again.“

“If I could give 10 stars they would get it! I rarely go online to write a review, and if I do it’s because I had a horrible experience. I wrote a positive review maybe twice in my life here’s my third. Start with the cashier, I really can’t say I ever had anyone serve me with a better attitude than the guy who helped me and I say right by the register and he kept that amazing attitude with all customers. At first I had 3 chicken tacos from the taco Tuesday deal (which I might say isn’t cheap, but quality costs) which were surprisingly good because I don’t love shredded chicken. The chicken was so good I decided to get an asada one as well just to make sure they really are as good as it seems. They crushed it, asada taco came to over 7$ after taxes and it glad to say I’ll be happy to pay that price anytime anywhere to get that same taco!“

“Where do I start with this place! Great food, great service, and amazing welcoming staff. Their lobster burrito was different to my palate but very delighting. Creamy delicious creative food. I’ve been to many places to eat and have never sent a review, but Taco Mesa hit it on the head for more. Fun Mexican food that makes you feel good about what you’re eating due to the healthy fresh food! Will definitely be back very soon.“

“The food is good and pretty healthy choices are available. We do the charbroiled fish which goes really well with the picked onions in the condiments bar. The peppers in the bar are exceptionally spicy, watch out. The pico is always good. They use high quality ingredients, in my opinion. I used to go to the original location in Costa Mesa for a long time and when they expanded I was worried the quality would go down. It didn't, but naturally the prices are up with inflation. The rice in this location could use a little more butter.“

“It is very disappointing that your restaurant runs out of chile verde so early in the day. I was told that your restaurant's manager only allows a small amount to be made each day event thought it's a very popular item. Doesn't make sense that you don't want to make more to accommodate your clients. This is why I only gave you a #4 overall rating!“

“We just had lunch at the Hasienda on the Lake. The service was excellent. Food was very tasty and fresh. Especially, I would like to thank Gustavo Ortega. He made out visit very enjoyable and made as feel very special.“

“Tacos are HUGE. More like mini burritos. Tons of meat, loaded up. I had the carne asada and carnitas. I ordered three. I probably really only needed one, maybe two. It's that much food. Good prices, good salsa bar. We come here anytime we're in the area!“

“It's a hit or miss depending on what you order. The chips and salsa, along with the taquitos, are always a hit. However, the mole was a big miss, as it was cold and the shredded steak wasn't great. Next time, I'll make sure to specify chicken for the mole. Despite this, I'll continue to visit Las Golondrinas.“

“The new Smoky Oaxacan Shrimp 🍤 Bowl 🍲 is one their best creations. How can you beat rice and beans, Shrimp, guacamole, tortilla strips, and chipotle sauce. Probably a lot of sodium so you may want to get it to go and save some for later.“
