“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. “We just moved to Mission Viejo and found this place. We love Mexican food and have been to many places at all price ranges. Casitas Tacos beat them all in a tiny little place. “This place- wow! Honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. It was DELICIOUS. and felt good and fresh and healthy. The server/order taker was incredibly friendly and helpful. I got a chicken plate (Malai Tikka) and my husband got a butter chicken curry. Both delicious. The water was even yummy- infused with lemon, mint and cucumber.“

“Cool vibe, good food. Happy hour daily from 2-5 with 50% off beer and wine. My only complaint would be the table tops were sticky/dirty looking. Not from lack of cleaning, just seemed to be the varnish they used on the wood. Also, the garlic parm fries are coated in a garlic butter. Very greasy/oily. If you're not into greasy fries, steer clear. Overall though, I would recommend, and I will be back.“

“TK Burgers is one of those classic Orange County spots that reminds you why simple food done right still wins. The place has that old-school surf shack vibe that feels authentic to the beach communities around here. It’s casual, quick, and the staff always seem to keep things moving even when the line gets long.

The burgers are solid and exactly what you want from a traditional California burger stand. Fresh grilled patties, soft buns, and simple toppings that don’t try to overcomplicate things. It’s just good, classic burger stand food that hits the spot every time.

Where TK Burgers really separates itself from the pack is the fries. And honestly, this is where I think they beat In-N-Out pretty easily. In-N-Out has great burgers, but their fries can be a little hit or miss depending on the batch. TK Burgers consistently serves fries that are crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and actually seasoned well. They taste like proper old-school burger stand fries, the kind you keep reaching back into the basket for even after you’re full.

The portions are generous, the prices are fair for Orange County, and the atmosphere feels laid back and local. You’ll see surfers, families, and longtime regulars all grabbing a quick meal. It’s the kind of place that feels like it’s been part of the community forever.

If you’re in Orange County and craving a straightforward, no-nonsense burger and fries, TK Burgers delivers. And if you’re someone who’s always wished In-N-Out had better fries, this place will probably win you over pretty quickly. Except for their service which is just “Meh”

“The sushi is so fresh and everyone is so friendly, It is obvious that there are many regulars in there. So many groups of customers were talking and joking with each other, it is a very friendly atmosphere. It is a small place with only one Sushi chef and it appeared that many customers knew each other, the chef seemed to know most of the customers, the customers knew the chef……you get the picture. Seeing the place full of so many regulars was reassuring on its own but the food spoke for itself.“

“José is the most artistically creative sushi chef we have ever come across and had the pleasure of being served by! His sushi creations are amazingly flavorful and to die for! Definitely suggest letting him pick for you, if you would like to try something new! I can't say enough nice things about this place. Its reasonably priced, and all the staff are nice and courteous. “Sashimi is a sushi restaurant located at the corner of Lake Forest Drive and Dimension Drive. It appears to be run by a Korean family and is a popular spot among the locals. They have a sushi bar, but we opted to dine at a table. Steve greeted us and was not only friendly and helpful, but his service level enhanced our overall dining experience.

We tried a number of dishes during our visit. Among my favorites were the Veggie Tempura, Salmon Nigiri, Lake Forest Roll (I appreciate that they allow substitutions so I subbed spicy yellowtail in place of the spicy tuna) and Special Carpaccio S. The Spicy Salmon cut roll was nothing special and tasted more like a California Roll. The Yellowtail Cheek was good, but it was more meaty and less tender than I've enjoyed at other Japanese restaurants. My wife ordered the Pink Lady, but I prefer my sushi with rice. All in all, we enjoyed our Sashimi experience and I'd recommend checking it out if you're in Lake Forest and in the mood for raw fish at a reasonable price.“

“WE had a 70th birthday brunch with 6 of us and it was a lovely luncheon. The weed-wacker made it hard to hear for a while, but the ambiance and beautiful views made it worthwhile. The service was a bit slow but the food was delish and everyone found something different to try. We were seated right upon arrival and I think we all decided we'd go back again with our families!“

“(October 2025 visit): Helen, the hostess and owner, is such a sweetheart! She welcomes you with a smiling face and explains anything on the Chinese-American menu, which is quickly served and abundant. Her plates are beautifully displayed with included side dishes, and full to the top (you'll probably need a take home box).
My only recommendation is she provide Chinese music to set the mood instead of her nice quiet classical music. BTW, the restaurant is in a quiet section of the shopping mall with no loud vehicles racing by. You can have a nice quiet conversation while enjoying your food. The restaurant provides booths or tables for your pleasure, which is a nice change from normal cafeteria-style Asian restaurants.“

They often have eacabeche carrots and limes that you just have to ask for, but no extra charge. All of the employees are warm and inviting and very helpful. I LOVE PERLAS!!!!!!! “This place is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. The food is superior to any Mexican restaurant around. The owners are incredible and so kind to the customers. Staff is always on it and working hard. They’re so sweet to my kids. The enchiladas Del Mar and chicken tortilla soup are INCREDIBLE! “My husband and I stopped in on a Friday evening. We were the only patrons which made me a little concerned at first but there was consistent takeout pickup the whole time we were there. Our apps were fresh and prepared to order. I had the green curry and my husband had the KUA-KRING SIAM, both had incredible flavors and just straight up delicious!“

“Well, this pizza was definitely filling well I’ve been lucky enough to try a new place actually in some cases two new places a day but I found this place really nice. I enjoyed sitting in the 50s style diner seating area.

The pizza was fresh filling and I had to tell you, they have the best cheese I’ve ever tasted in my life but if you want a pizza that fills you up go for the small, which is eight slices but I’m telling you right now if you get the large, be sure to bring three extra people because they will fill you up they offer sandwiches here. One of these is the Italian sausage and cheese. They will bring it out to your table.

You can enjoy sports or any program on the TV and I’m gonna tell you the build your own menu is really amazing but I had to have a pepperoni and sausage…

“A wonderful find. My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at Sabatinos Italian Bistro this evening. Our server Frederico was professional and quite personable. We started our dinner with two glasses of wine and the bruchetta. The Talbot Chardonnay and the Dry Creek Cabernet were both excellent choices. My wife ordered the eggplant gnocchi, which she loved, and I had the sausage and pepper rigatoni. Both dishes were excellent. The service, food, and ambiance were quite authentic and enjoyable. We spoke with Frederico, who is the ultimate professional, and decided to order a side of meatballs to go as well. This was our first time at Sabatinos, and this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Ask for Frederico as he is the ultimate professional. Highly Recommended.“

“I ❤️ Bagels ruined all other bagels for me. I started coming here when my boys were kids — a dozen fed us for days on a tight budget. Now my son takes his daughter and the tradition continues. I was told that your restaurant's manager only allows a small amount to be made each day event thought it's a very popular item. “This was my go to your place, but I’m very disappointed that they took away the blackened chicken. I would go at least once a day, and sometimes twice a day, two or three times a week. Their blackened chicken salad was just amazing. Their beans are delicious and I love their salsa. Now, I sometimes go two times a week, but really just to see the staff because they are amazing!
The shrimp and the Carne Asada are good, but it is not like the blackened chicken. I would imagine it’s much slower now because I know so many people went for the blackened chicken. Maybe in the future they can rethink that decision.“
