“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. “Sashimi is a sushi restaurant located at the corner of Lake Forest Drive and Dimension Drive. It appears to be run by a Korean family and is a popular spot among the locals. They have a sushi bar, but we opted to dine at a table. Steve greeted us and was not only friendly and helpful, but his service level enhanced our overall dining experience.

We tried a number of dishes during our visit. Among my favorites were the Veggie Tempura, Salmon Nigiri, Lake Forest Roll (I appreciate that they allow substitutions so I subbed spicy yellowtail in place of the spicy tuna) and Special Carpaccio S. The Spicy Salmon cut roll was nothing special and tasted more like a California Roll. The Yellowtail Cheek was good, but it was more meaty and less tender than I've enjoyed at other Japanese restaurants. My wife ordered the Pink Lady, but I prefer my sushi with rice. All in all, we enjoyed our Sashimi experience and I'd recommend checking it out if you're in Lake Forest and in the mood for raw fish at a reasonable price.“

“Love this place. I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed it as I’ve been probably 60 times since I found it! I will say here and there sometimes it is inconsistent with the amount of sauce you get based on who is serving you, but otherwise the team is always really friendly and super quick!!!

The fish/ingredients are always fresh and flavorful.

“Nice spot! It’s pretty spacious so there’s a lot of seating. I do like how the booths are separated by a barrier so it’s more private. There is a call button to get the waiters attention and we tried to use it but I’m not sure if it worked lol. There are so many sushi options and other appetizers and such too. The spicy garlic edamame was really good!!! 🫛
The presentation of the sashimi was very pretty and elegant! I haven’t seen that before! 🍣
The crazy boy rolls were super delicious. I really enjoyed those! 🤤
Everything tasted really good. The classic spicy tuna rolls were fat and filling.

It's difficult to find a quality sushi bar with top-notch 'wagyu' sushi. The carpaccio is outstanding and much more. The chefs (Luke, Jose, Effrin) all do amazing work, and the owner deserves praise for sourcing high-quality fish. When I'm not in the mood for cold sushi, the yellowtail cheeks are the best in Orange County. The price is also best you'll find in ALL of OC.
All jokes aside, this restaurant is truly excellent. It's owned by a very kind man and is a local favorite in a small part of Orange County.
Luke, bring in Monk Fish Liver and Yamakakai Tuna and I'll be here daily.😋“

“Helen, the hostess and owner, is such a sweetheart! She welcomes you with a smiling face and explains anything on the menu, which is quickly served and abundant. Her plates are beautifully displayed with included side dishes, and full to the top (you'll probably need a take home box).
My only recommendation is she provide Chinese music to set the mood instead of her nice quiet classical music. BTW, the restaurant is in a quiet section of the shopping mall with no loud vehicles racing by. You can have a nice quiet conversation while enjoying your food. The restaurant provides booths or tables for your pleasure, which is a nice change from normal cafeteria-style Asian restaurants.“

it gets packed very quick, so reservations is recommended. We didn't have reservations and had to wait about 10-15 minutes.“

“Recommend coming here. Big fan of Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. Got their carne asada and the meat was delicious. Enjoyed their chips and salsa. The salsa had a smoky bite to it. Rice, beans, and enchilada was to be expected but delicious. Safe to say that I stuffed myself good.

Service was good and quick. Nothing amazing, hence the 4 stars.

Same goes for the atmosphere. Just your standard sit down, which isn’t bad at but nothing amazing.

“Rubino's has the BEST gluten free pizza in town!

We love it here. Although they don't have a dedicated gluten free facility, they understand gluten allergy and most importantly, we have never gotten sick.

The chef went out of his way to accommodate my request for a special dish and made it fresh. The food was very delicious, not oily and was served with a lot of love. Our GrubHub driver forgot half our order - They called me to let me know and then personally delivered it.

It cost them money to do that and they did it anyways. Then on top of that - they literally walked my wife her Amazon package that was at the front of our house when they got here with our food.

We started our dinner with two glasses of wine and the bruchetta. The Talbot Chardonnay and the Dry Creek Cabernet were both excellent choices. My wife ordered the eggplant gnocchi, which she loved, and I had the sausage and pepper rigatoni. Both dishes were excellent. The service, food, and ambiance were quite authentic and enjoyable. We spoke with Frederico, who is the ultimate professional, and decided to order a side of meatballs to go as well. This was our first time at Sabatinos, and this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Ask for Frederico as he is the ultimate professional. Highly Recommended.“

“The food is good and pretty healthy choices are available. We do the charbroiled fish which goes really well with the picked onions in the condiments bar. The peppers in the bar are exceptionally spicy, watch out. The pico is always good. They use high quality ingredients, in my opinion. I used to go to the original location in Costa Mesa for a long time and when they expanded I was worried the quality would go down. It didn't, but naturally the prices are up with inflation. The rice in this location could use a little more butter.“
