Noodle house in the Chinese Gardens, Tea house and patio Cafe in the Rose Garden area. Tea Room now allows you to make reservations on Open Table. Cafe 1919 has a great variety including the Border Grill, Sushi and much more. ... Its all a great compliment to the Fine Art ,gardens ,research and events.... “Came here with high hopes and was not disappointed. Had to ask for the omakase since it was not on the menu. There's the 100$ level and the boss level for 150$. I honestly dont know what the difference was even though the very nice wait staff tried to explain it to me. It was just a bunch of japanese words lol. While I was enjoying my drink near the window, a squirrel on the exterior ledge caught my eye. This little guy seemed oddly interested in my coffee break and kept peering in like we were old friends catching up. It made for a good laugh and somehow added to the charm of the place. “I still remember Veggie Grill when they were first starting out in Southern California years ago, down in the O.C. Over the years, their menu has changed, but they are still dependable and I really appreciate that you can get a 100% Vegan, tasty meal and fast, when you're in a hurry. It beats any national chain of real fast food (which is so unhealthy). Their current menu still has a few of their original favorites. The Santa Fe Chik'n Sandwich with guac, southwest mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions on a wheat bun is still fire and a must! Still crunchy and well done. :) Their Lentil Soup is another great item, high in fiber, healthy and well seasoned. The Smokey Mushroom Tacos with marinated asada mushrooms, shredded lettuce, pickled onions, guac, Baja sauce on warm organic corn tortillas are satisfying. I'm sad they removed their Kale side order (you used be able to get it steamed or sauteed), because that is pure healthy vegetable deliciousness.“

“I've been to other Kopan locations and I'm so happy to see one here in WC! Ramen is the best medicine on cold winter days, especially when you're feeling a little sick. I needed a quickly satisfy my ramen craving, and it hit the spot. I looked at the sushi options too, but I wasn't in the mood for sushi. The ramen is exactly how I remember at the other locations. The downfalls of the ramen I received...

-I wanted a hot soup to soothe my throat. The soup was between room temp and the ideal hot for how I was feeling.
-The chashu seems to be cut a lot thinner than I remember. I remember, which was some time ago, the slices being double the thickness that what I received.
-I don't remember if I saw extra toppings on the menu, like the crunchy onion and garlic. But post meal, I see it's on the online menu.

Now, the broth was very flavorful. The spice was perfectly mild, the way I like it. The chashu perfectly cooked and flavorful.

Service was good. The server was attentive for the most part. Felt a bit rushed, but it seemed like he was the only one on the floor. I was still enjoying my ramen and he already asked if I was ready to settle the bill. I kindly obliged and paid my bill at that moment. I could have potentially ordered sushi, depending how content I was after the ramen, or even dessert.

Parking is convenient. The plaza does have a parking structure. Although, it appears that they are doing some construction, so there are large containers in the parking spaces. There is also street parking, which is a shorter walking distance on Glendora, where the entrance is located.

“I haven't been to an olive garden in years. We ordered fried mozzarella. My entrée was really good. Eggplant parmesan was light and not over breaded with just enough marinara on top. I was able to switch out the spaghetti for fettuccine alfredo. I ordered an Italian margarita it was citrusy and served with amaretto. The only disappointment was the salad... I had to pick out so many white parts and hearts of lettuce. It seemed as if I got the last part of the day ends of greens. Our server was efficient and quick.“

“This location is always busy. I usually come here before 5 p m Because I hate waiting in line. Regardless if I get lucky or not, the food here never disappoints. Endless salad and breadsticks. Good meatball and shrimp appetizer is fantastic. The pasta plates large enough to always have leftovers at home and service is fast. My new favorite drink is the apple sangria, soooo good. It's made from Moscato and is nice take on the bitter normal sangria.
