“I’ve eaten at a lot of Mediterranean restaurants over the years, including well-known spots like Carousel Restaurant and Raffi's Place, and this place honestly stands out above many of them.

The food was incredible — no gimmicks, no overly trendy presentation, just genuinely well-made Mediterranean food with flavor that speaks for itself. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and authentic.

I ordered the chicken lula plate with a side of beef kofta, while my child got the mantee and the pork chop plate. Every dish was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and satisfying from start to finish.

What impressed me just as much as the food was the staff. During our visit, they had to deal with a very rude family that was aggressively trying to get a free meal. The father was loud and disrespectful to the staff, even raising his voice at times. Despite that uncomfortable situation, the employees remained calm, professional, and incredibly respectful toward everyone else in the restaurant, including us. I've worked in the food industry so I know when someone is trying to get one over for a free meal and this family was a joke.

“I've been coming to the spot for probably over 10 years and the experience overall has been solid. The owners are always really polite, the food is put together ridiculously fast, and the flavors are pretty familiar and flavorful as you would expect from Mediterranean food. I will say, that perhaps there's a little bit of shrinkflation because most restaurants, the portions just seem a little smaller. I think for this cafe, everything is pretty much the same with high quality hummus, tasty rice, fresh salad, but I think the meat portions are a little smaller than I remember a year ago. Also, this round, my lamb skewers were a bit overcooked and on the dry side. But, perhaps this is just an anomaly for this visit. I'm going to try again probably this month!“

“I have a ritual to eat a chicken pesto sandwich with an energy drink here every time I close a deal. It's the most authentic Greek Food I've had in the City. It's the same kind of food that I was raised on so to me it's a comfort food and a reward.“

We ordered the machaca burrito, a large menudo, and a torta for our baby. They were incredibly accommodating and customized the torta exactly how he wanted it, egg with ham, and he absolutely loved it, which says a lot because he’s a picky eater. The menudo was delicious, and I appreciated that you can order it with or without hominy.

The machaca burrito was so good my husband inhaled it in under 60 seconds. The staff was super attentive and kept the coffee coming, which made the experience even better.

The whole place feels very homey, like being transported straight to Mexico. We’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.“

“Certainly not the only one, but definitely a wonderful choice to get Mediterranean food for lunch or a quick dinner. The place is located in a a cute little building (missed it on the first drive-by) with a mini garden to sit outside at one of four tables. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, cleanly presented. Hit on the menu - I was told - is the Chipotle Chicke. I went for the lamb gyros and the spinach dip - and loved both: Everything was tasty - and good to come back another time - so four stars :-) Now, thank you for reading my comment. Now, if you are curious enough about my "rating scheme", here's "the moment of truth. I am a music photographer who travels the world with the worlds greatest musical talents (Michael Jackson, AC/DC, Rolling Stones or Rammstein, to name a few) for almost 40 years. When being asked "where do you live" I tended to ask "in hotels". At my peak, I "shot" 250 shows a year. Will say: been there, saw and tasted it, and a lot, as I may say and much to the dismay of my doctor who is in my back to lose a few pounds. Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by. While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their "power of word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all time favourite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree. So If I had the say on this portal, I would offer just to see ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this simply does not compare to "The Ritz". At first,​ I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. In my rating scheme, three or more stars are awarded if they actually exceeded my expectation. Four, if I am sure I will come back. “This is by far the freshest food I’ve had in a while. I ordered the gyro bowl, one pork and the other beef lamb with rice and fries. I’m not even kidding this taste so fresh and clean and you can taste the love in the food. I need to go back and try everything!“

“It was my first time here, the place looked clean. The young lady at the register was super friendly and courteous. I ordered the lamb chop plate as well as the chicken Kabob plate. The lamb chops were very tasty and tender. The ONLY thing was that the rice and lamb chops were very salty. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my food, it was just too much salt. I'm willing to give this place a second chance only because I love lamb and they are close to me. The pros outweigh the cons and hopefully next time it won't be salty. Will keep you posted“

“I have only had takeout from this restaurant, so it's hard to speak to the atmosphere. But, with how delicious the food has been the two times we have ordered, everything deserves 5 stars! The gyro plate is out of this world! Everything is so fresh and their tzatziki is scrumptious! I always eat an entire order of grape leaves myself! YUM! They have wonderful specials and buy 2 deals, too. :)“
