“This is the spot for coffee, drinks (cold and hot), and delicious treats! Everything was top notch and you can tell they use all high quality ingredients and know how to make drinks.
Lots of seating inside and outside with parking, although currently (mid November 2025) there is some construction on the street right outside so it may cause a little traffic, but still enoflow to visit here. The almond croissant was one of the best I have had, seriously.
Very nice atmosphere, vibe, and relaxing, great spot for a break and to relax and have greqt drinks and some snacks.“

“If you are looking for an Amazing And Beautiful event venue for a wedding reception, a birthday party, a bachelorette, or any occasion venue. I Highly Highly recommend State and Fig in Santa Barbara! From planning to execution, Patrick and Serina made my niece’s wedding Perfect! I don’t use Perfect lightly, as I am known to be critical and a perfectionist especially when it comes to events. They made my niece's wedding planning experience so easy, from booking the venue to providing Customized menu options, and ALWAYS received quick responses any time we had questions as well as added personal touches of their own to the wedding. Serina and Patrick were extremely helpful, detailed, and knowledgeable and knew exactly what we wanted and how they could help. On the wedding day, The whole staff was very friendly, attentive, communicative, accommodating, Extremely helpful, and responsive, from assisting with centerpiece decorations, to serving hors d’oeuvres Always with a smile, making sure Each and Every guest was taken care of throughout the night, I was very impressed! Now for the food, EXCEPTIONAL, the taste was phenomenal, the meat was tender, the salmon was cooked perfectly, Nothing was over/undercooked, so delicious and the guests would not stop talking about how good the hors d’oeuvre and main courses were! Thank you, Serina, Patrick, and your staff from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make my niece’s wedding day beyond wonderful, and Perfect! We certainly will be back even for a weekend getaway! 😊“

“My husband and I ate at the Live Oak Café while were staying at the Best Western on the same property. The restaurant interior is bright and chic and, as a bonus, overlooks the hotel pool. Plenty of parking. We had dinner the first night of our stay and loved it so much we went back for breakfast. Everything is fresh, high quality and delicious. If you are in Santa Barbara, be sure to stop by and give them a try. Be sure also to stop and say hello to the cute little finches who live right outside. I have to give a very special shout out to Javier and Luis! They were awesome – made us feel warm and welcome and part of the family. Luis kept the smiles and the coffee coming (VERY important part of my morning) and Javier could not have been more helpful and also has a really great smile! Stop by and say hi to the guys!“

“The heated outside eating is what really makes it worth it.
We shared the housemaid English muffin but I didn't need the apricot habanero jam on there...too sweet.
We also ordered the sirloin hash which was unique and hearty. The coffee was strong,but that's what I like.
Next time I'll try something house made sweets.“

“Tasty cupcakes. Beware, the chocolate flavored cupcake frosting has a strong coffee flavor. I didn't see that on a sign or anything, but maybe I was supposed to know... But it was surprising. Tasty, but if you don't want mocha flavor, avoid the chocolate frosting.
Or maybe it was just a problem this weekend...
Regardless, the cupcakes were good. And the chocolate chip cookie was very good. Subtle with a little bit of salt on top. I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie the most, will likely stop again!“

I visited about 7 years ago obsessed with this place. Quality has decreased significantly, a tad disappointing. The hostess did NOT like me. For no reason. I felt stared out when I asked for a table. Mind you, there were tons of places and she chose the worst spot. I don’t know how to describe it but it felt uncomfortable. The buses and supporting staff was really nice, just not the main ones.
The quality of the food was okay. Missing the freshness of California. Doubt I’d come back again.“

“We stopped in for breakfast on our way up the coast of Cali. Everything we ate and drank was delicious. I ordered the Hibiscus cold brew, the carmelised onion and goat cheese quiche, and the banana bread. Not only is everything fresh and tasty- the ambience is amazing 🤩 I think I'd fly back out just to visit this cafe 🥰“

“This is such a cozy and unique coffee shop. They got me a matcha latte with orange cardamom which was to die for. Their service is outstanding, super nice and very thoughtful about making the drink you want. The decor is beautiful and it connects with the Dusk bar, right next door. Such a clever combination and naming game.“

“Our wedding cake was everything we hoped for and more! Not only was it absolutely beautiful and matched our vision perfectly, but it also tasted amazing, and our guests are still talking about it. They were so easy to work with, incredibly professional, and guided us through the whole process. This space is so cute! The outdoor patio is really cozy. The people working were also really nice. There was a person with red hair with black tips and they were really sweet and patient with me. The other barista with beaded earrings was also very sweet an encouraged me to try their Chubaka drink. I would come here again when i’m in the area.“
“Saint Remy is a cute little spot connected to the Marriott on State St, the restaurant area has such a fun and beachy atmosphere I loved it! I had some yummy poolside drinks and food, and the service was great! Definitely one of my new favorite spots.“
