The sesame balls were crispy outside and chewy inside. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a clean, comfortable atmosphere. When you taste the common dishes most of other SB Chinese restaurants make, it's like you ask someone to scratch a specific spot your back but they never reach the right location you want them to. But at this restaurant they actually do a good job. Not the best but good enough to be rated top notch Chinese restaurant in SB.“

“China Pavilion is hands down one of my favorite restaurants ever, and absolutely my favorite place to get dim sum. The food and tea are always delicious and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything is delicious, but some of my favorites are the shrimp and chive pies, Szechuan wontons, baked bbq pork buns, and egg custard buns“
