“I eat a lot of Mexican food and this was genuinely one of the best Mexican meals I have ever eaten. Everything completely fresh and scratch made from the chips to the tortillas to the sauces. So flavorful and authentic. Just visiting the Santa Barbara area for a few days but would be a regular here if I lived closer. Definitely a must-try even with the abundance of Mexican options around.“

“I have this the perfect place for happy hour i order the soft steak tacos it was deelish cozy patio, super friendly staff, tasty pineapple margarita, so refreshing, gotta luv chips and guac. Follow your taste buds i highly recommend you give this restaurant a whirl.“

“I have never been a huge fan of torta's...everytime I get one I always wished I had just gotten a burrito...because who doesn't LOVE tortillas, right? ....but...

I just had the best torta of my life! The Cubana Torta from El Sitio is FUEGO. You know when you order a sandwich and you get drips of sauce falling out the back? This thing drips huge chunks of amazingly flavored meats all over....in fact half of the meat they give you doesn't even FIT in the sandwich... you get a whole other sandwich's worth of meat wrapped up in the foil!

Hands down. Best Torta of my life.

On top of that. they have an amazing all-female kitchen staff, who are sweet as anything and make amazing food. I can't forget Pepe, who is the son of the man who started this business. He is always in-store (I am sure he rotates stores) helping out with operations, taking orders, answering phones, etc. When I first moved here a year or so ago, he was such a bright and helpful face in this new area for me. Which as anyone who lives in SB knows, can sometimes feel a bit stuck up, and unwelcoming. I saw Pepe today and once again he helped me however he could (including selling me a roll of quarters I needed for laundry, lifesaver!) which is what brought me into google maps to send back my gratitude for this business and hope this review will help support them because 1. they deserve it. and 2. it really is the best mexican, or really some of the best food in town! and I do NOT say that lightly. Hope this helps ya'll Cheers. BTW everything I have tried here is great.....but please....consider ordering the Cubana Torta....wow. just....wow.“

“Great little place. Very clean. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered a burrito with a diablo sauce. We added steak and it came with a spoonful of sourcream on the side. The sauce was definitely homemade. We'd never had Diablo sauce.. not really a fan, but we ate it all up cause we were hungry. Maybe try a different one next time“

“Love the vibe and opened air seating with some covered sections in the new Carpenteria linden open market.

There’s much to choose from here. We really enjoyed the sweet potato taco. It tasted better than the original location in the Santa Barbara market. It just melted in our mouth.

The guacamole was just OK. It almost tasted like it had a little cross-contamination with fish. So that was a mess but usually it’s excellent.

Margaritas were good and included a passionfruit option

They have a bar that you can sit at which has warm wood which makes it inviting. This place has much more of a vibe than at the public market in Santa Barbara, but both are wonderful. I love the open air aspect of this location. It’s only blocks from the beach as well. Parking has been pretty good, but I’m sure as people find a spot. It may get more difficult in the summer

I felt like the service in the attitude was more positive than my last few experiences in Santa Barbara maybe because it’s new when people are feeling fresh. I really love Corazón Cucina and I’m so happy to know if this location it’s my new favorite location of their products.

“Got a asada combo burrito to go & it’s definitely the best in town and most authentic. The meat is perfectly seasoned, the beans taste 100% authentically made. Guacamole is perfectly melted into the burrito and all contents are evenly matched nothing overpowers. If you go to Super Cucas their meat is overly seasoned, too salty and you get a handful of onions. Los agaves burrito taste plain and taste like it needs sauce. Los arroyos burrito won’t make you remember and get you bloated. All other burritos in town definitely taste super processed, salty or plain, or not seasoned right but this burrito will give you flashbacks of your mom smashing the beans in the kitchen and cutting nice chunks of meat. I spent $16 all other places charge $4 more“

Botanas available Chicaron Buches Carnitas typed with Onion Tomatoes Cilantro pickled Jalapeños. Also Fresh Meat Vegetables Spices Cheese Seafood also. Try it out you won't be disappointed.
