“I could give it a 3 because it wasn't wow per se but we just expected a bit more. The food is on point and we aren’t used to how authentic it was nor really experienced a traditional Taiwanese breakfast. Was excited to try thinking we can pick up some traditional regular Chinese breakfast items but realized reading the menu on the glass after walking here from our hotel that the breakfast they offered wasn't what we envisioned it to be. Thinking it would be some Chinese pastries we can take back to the hotel like dantat or buns or even some dimsum items. They didn't have any of that but more a sit down hot meatier and heavier items. So there was another older Chinese lady looking at the menu outside and she too said oh this is Taiwanese kind of breakfast and then walked away. I didn't know what to say to her either lol

Anyways we still wanted to get something especially since the owners saw us staring at the menu for so long and no one was really inside either lol so I ordered soybean milk sweet and hot and a fried dough stick to dip. Got two buns to try and took it to go. The milk wasn't bad not too sweet but it wasn't the best I've had either. I did like the fried dough stick especially when hot and fresh. The other 2 buns were ok too. Flaky not bad. Authentic. Red bean and sesame. Price was ok too.

Would I come back? Not sure. There are so many other places to try. I really loved our hotel next door and how close it was to all these fun shops and eateries. That I will come back to.

If you happen around this area pop into try. The owners seem nice but because I couldn't converse as well as I wanted to it got a tad awkward. It was fun though !“

“Finally had a chance to visit one of their pop ups at the corner of pomona and atlantic. It isn't fast food, but it's certainly worth the wait. A little pricey, but I ask them to throw everything in there. And I think that they needed to cook some sausages, so it took about fifteen or twenty minutes, but again worth the wait“

“My family and I frequent here quite often and every single time, the drinks were on point! Thai tea, Thai-chata, strawberry vortex, pineapple escape, milky way taro, polar pomegranate are just a few that I've tried and would recommend but everything including food is so good. Their customer service is also great! Always a pleasant experience for us. We've "cheated" and have gone to other boba places when traveling but it's not the same. Twisteas definitely has our loyalty!“

When she saw my eyes widened, she asked me to sit down. Not long after, my dry noodles were served. Plus a red oil snack as a treat.This bowl of noodles is quite special. It is neither fried noodles nor sesame noodles, but fried sesame noodles mixed with two sauces. The menu is called "Strange Flavor Noodles". The taste is quite rich. When eating, you should mix it with raw cucumber. The noodles, sauce and refreshing cucumber naturally form a delicious balance that makes you want to take another bite.Maybe it's so strange. After eating it for the first time, I ordered this bowl of noodles from the store every time I came back. The only thing I wished for is some kind of chicken bowl. He already has the rice, he just needs to toss some chicken into a pan...but I understand he specializes in sushi and doesn't want added complexity to his operation.

“It's hard to find vegetarian/vegan Chinese food options, so this place has become a staple for me. We usually get the deep fried sesame chicken, pineapple fried rice, and some type of vegetable. They are all delicious and filling, we always have left overs! I drive from Torrance just to come here.“

“This place is open from morning until 4 PM. The soondubu (soft tofu stew) is freshly made every day, so it’s always very fresh. They also offer soy milk made from ground soybeans, available in both sweetened and unsweetened versions. However, it takes quite a long time after ordering for the food to arrive. We ordered sashimi, six different rolls, and tempura — everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor (my faves were the Cajun Salmon Roll + Salmon Lava Roll - not pictured because I dug in immediately 💀). The sashimi melted in our mouths, the rolls were creative and delicious, and the tempura was light and perfectly crisp. 😍

“This restaurant was recommended by my aunt. The food was great, they gave generous portions, and the price was good.

There was a promotion where they give you a free half chicken dish if you spend a certain amount of money, and we spent double that amount, so they gave us a whole chicken dish! We actually got two different half chicken dishes as our freebie, so it was nice to try different flavors.

The staff is very nice and I highly recommend this place.“

We came on a Sunday around noon and I was expecting an older food but surprisingly it was still fresh and very tasty. For example, the Macau Crispy Salted Pork Knuckle is still crispy and delicious, the colorful Beef Baiye is fresh and crispy, and the Pumpkin Steamed Pork Ribs is tender and juicy.“
