“The chocolate banana bread is my ultimate favorite banana bread of all time. It is moist and full of flavor. You will enjoy it. Next, I’m not a fan of blueberry and prefer strawberry but the worker said it’s pretty good so I gave it a try and I’m so glad I did. I got a plain bagel with blueberry smear and it was delicious. It didn’t taste like blueberry too much. I really liked it.“

Our server was condescending and repeatedly interrupted our moment by crossing between us without a word. When I asked about drinks, she was short and even gave inaccurate descriptions. This is my second visit, and both times with the same server have left a sour taste. I hope the service improves because the food deserves better! Not your regular everywhere tacos. These tacos were homemade recipes. I had the carne asada, pork with potato (puerco con papa) & beans with cactus (frijoles con nopal). It's a week later that I tried these tacos and I can't stop talking about them. My favorite was the beans with cactus. Soooo good. Also, the atmosphere was just so nice and lively. “The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

“This place fricken rocks, it honestly made my wife and I consider moving down to LA! We're both motorcycle riders so seeing the whole place be themed around that lifestyle was very creative and attractive. Even if you're not a rider, this is a really fun and cool spot. Very fun dishes and drinks, various forms of seating for eating and drinking (outdoor/indoor), and there's lots to simply look at so you may finish your meal and meander around to look at all the neat motorcycle paraphernalia scattered throughout the room.

The food was delicious American-fare, the service was attentive, the drinks are high-quality, the prices are reasonable. The area it's in...ehhh I wouldn't walk here if I could avoid it, there's not too much nearby worth visiting. Oh, and it's dog friendly! They even have meals for your pooch if you feel inclined. Our dogs loved their homemade dog treats and enjoyed their provided water bowl.

Definitely a spot we'll go back to, and if we move to LA we're guaranteed joining them on one of their monthly rides! We also bought a couple motorcycle shirts for our rides. Easily my favorite spot in the area.“

“Have you ever made a random desperate stop off the freeway because you were starving, and landed in a genuinely fantastic restaurant? Just happened to me at Zhengyalov Hatz. What a treat! Healthy, delicious, natural lunch from an unassuming strip mall. I got dessert, too!

I’m bummed that this place is so far from home. Maybe they’ll open one in the South Bay?“

“This is an amazing steak restaurant! We called ahead to let them know we would be about 10 minutes late because we had been involved in a minor car accident on the way there. Our server, Uli, was incredibly kind and thoughtful. He brought us a complimentary comfort drink and kept checking in to make sure we were okay, which meant so much to us.

The food was outstanding, but what truly made the experience memorable was the people. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Exceptional service, delicious food, and genuinely wonderful people. We will definitely be back!“

“After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

“Pretty good! The dan dan noodle tasted great. The wonton soup was okay and the beef roll was a little lacking on meat. The Taiwanese sausage seemed a bit small for $7 but was pretty good.

“This is authentic down to the sexy owner Francesco with the beautiful accent. He made the heck out of my cappuccino with a hint of house made vanilla and cinnamon. He deftly stirred and measured all the while answering my questions just so I could hear him speak.
I also got the fritatta with zucchini and other delicious veggies. O.g! Do, savory and fluffy. They have so many items on the menu from pastas to decadent desserts and they even have imported Italian sparkling water and still. If you wanna feel transported to a country and romanticize what your taste buds are experiencing, this is the place for you. There is some seating outside and you can people watch but the star of all of this is incredible food just the way his beloved Grandmother made.“

The wax beans were a standout - snappy and bright with serrano chile, toasted hazelnuts, and a tangy Frenchie vinaigrette.
