“Surprisingly better than most of the local Chinese food. I do like how it's fresh and doesn't come in a can or bag like most restaurants get from single source Chinese food distributors. Hence the reason you see the menus are mostly the same from place to place. Love the staff here super friendly !!“

“Places like Dong Ting Spring are hard to come by these days, especially in Ventura County. When you walk in, it feels like you're in your grandma's house being served a comforting home cooked meal. Every time time we come here, we always see elderly Asian people with their families, which I think is a strong indicator of how authentic Dong Ting's food is. We typically order the stinky tofu with braised intestine, braised pork, beef rolls, always with a side of rice. I really love it here and I will keep speaking their high praise. Haters be gone, Hunan forever!“

“The cold noodles were sooooo good, especially with all the hot & spicy dishes we got. $100 after tip, really reasonable with all the dishes & large portions. Rice not pictured. Had plenty to take home. Wish we lived closer! I wish there were more veggie dishes, stir fried garlic bok choy or snow pea leaves would be great, but everything was tasty.“

“This place is awesome. Like a Panda Express with heart.
The Spicy Crispy Chicken is my favorite dish, and one of my favorite dishes at any quick service Chinese restaurant ever. It's got a light, beautiful crunchy coating, it's perfectly seasoned with chili and Sichuan peppercorn, and stir fried with fresh green chilies. I like to pair it, a bit unusual I admit, with the fish and black bean sauce, which is an incredibly rich umami bomb of a dish to offset the bright and spicy chicken. Wow, it's such a good bite it makes me hungry just thinking about it.
The location is nothing to write home about, it's a little spot, clean enough, small soda fountain, minimal seating, all-business service. The portions are generous and the prices are fair.
But Seven Spice is all about the food, and you will not be disappointed.“

“Best Chinese food in town, everything was delicious, we had chicken soft noodle, beef and broccoli, fried rice and the seafood platter which had shrimp, fish, imitation crab and vegetables. Will definitely go back and will make it are new Chinese food spot. Highly recommend. Service was great too.“

“Szechuwan Garden has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for years. I believe they changed owners in the last 5 years and everything has improved. The waitress Juan (pronounced Jen) is lovely and a great waitress. Her personality is second to none and she will take good care of you. John, the waiter is also very nice, as well as Amy at the front desk. The food is totally delicious! The cashew nut chicken is my newest favorite and I crave it several times per week. Huge portions of food for a very good price. Check this place out if you haven't already. Deserving of more than 5 stars.“

“We've lived in the Suntree neighborhood in Newbury Park for 23 years, and have really enjoyed food from Sesame Inn (3327 Kimber) recently. \n\nSesame Inn was owned for a long time by Jennifer and Paul, but went through two changes of ownership once they retired. A new couple, Ling and Shao Yung, now own Sesame Inn, and have kept the original recipes. The restaurant is currently carry-out only. Ling handles the phone and Shao Yung runs the kitchen. They're delightful!\n\nWe've ordered most things on the menu (including the "secret" menu), but keep gravitating towards our favorites. We did so again this evening. Whenever we have out-of-town guests that have been here before, they always ask for carry-out from Sesame Inn.\n\n★★★★★ - 5 stars!“

“Super sweet owners got there two minutes before they closed and they were more than welcoming to help us. They had ran out of chow mein since they were two min from closing and the owner literally made fresh chow mein for us. Will definitely be coming here more often :)“

“Again, the 5 stars is just because i don't want to hiurt anyone's rating. But this place was not good. I should have known when I walked in as it was dirty and the building is falling apart. The BBQ pork buns were mushy and inedible. The potstickers had crunchy and hard edges. The orange chicken was grisly, chewy, and all dark meat parts. Definitely would not eat there again. 50 bucks down the tubes.“

“This is a 5-Star review for Shirly, who is obviously a relatively new employee to this location. Shirly was working very quickly and was very friendly with all of the customers. This is also a 1-star review for Matthew, who appeared to be managing the line at the time I bought lunch today. Matthew, you will learn with time that managing requires leadership, and while you were trying to get things done and I saw that, you were also pretty rude and pushy with Shirly. Please consider that new employees might need support and encouragement rather than belittling. It looks like you might be good at being a manager some day, but remember, treating people well matters, as does productivity and efficiency. Overall, this location is very efficient and the staff are usually pretty nice and friendly.“

“Nice and friendly service, it was not busy at all around 8pm.They have all the precautions for serving customers and Everything is marked for distancing.One thing only I went with my friend and she order shrimp and unfortunately got a different item on her plate and we found out until we got home.A little disappointed“
