“Needed to edit my online order but couldn’t after placing it, so called the restaurant and luckily was able to get some quick, easy assistance from David! He was able to substitute the item for me without issue. When I arrived, he confirmed my whole order for me and visually showed me that everything was there. Portions and quality were great. “We walked up and weren't sure if the place was open, but luckily some other patrons walked up at the same time so we followed them in. So glad we did! This is one of those Chinese places that opened when Adam was a lad and hasn't changed its approach since. The carpet looked original (and therefore quite worn, but that is literally the only thing I would change if I bought the place. I'd pay the chef whatever they wanted to stay, keep the service staff, keep the decor, and above all else, keep the menu. Traditional Chinese-American restaurant menu (quite long but mostly just variations on the same dozen recipes, swapping out proteins), but extremely well executed. We are new residents of the Valley and we will be regulars here.“

“If you like Panda Express, this is the restaurant that started it all. Food is much better here, and there is a much larger selection than Express. Friendly staff, and great portions. You will not leave hungry.
From the wontons and paper chicken, to the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. We usually go with at least 5 of us, and 3 plates feeds us all. With a couple of apps, of course.
If you've never been, give them a try.“

“OMG!! The food is so clean!! I highly recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Green Beans. The Beef Chow Mein is Killer. They have Imported Japanese beer that is hard to get anywhere else. I got my order to go, barbecue pork fried rice and sweet and pungent shrimp.

The portion size on the barbecue pork fried rice is really good, really large. The rice was cooked perfect, the flavor is definitely there. I would get this dish again.

The sweet and pungent shrimp was okay I suppose. Way too much sugary sauce if you ask me. Also, they do use smaller size shrimp then some other places in the area. I do like the fact that they do include broccoli with the order. I believe the amount/quantity of Shrimp portion size is just a tad smaller than what I would have liked. I'm not sure if I would order this dish again though. Maybe the experience is a little bit better in person. Please keep in mind, this was a to-go order that I got.

Parking is plentiful, even though it's on Reseda and Ventura Boulevard basically. There is a free parking lot that you can park in. If you come for lunch during the week, it's definitely busy, so be prepared to park maybe a little bit further away than you'd like to.

Overall, for takeout, this place was pretty good. I have to try this place in person another time when I have more time. But all in all, I would definitely give it another try.“

“I had a great experience at P.F. Chang’s, and a big part of that was Jessie. He’s honestly dope, he really goes out of his way to make sure customers feel respected and valued. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people coming in.

One thing that stood out to me is how he remembers returning customers and even pays attention to their favorite orders. That level of attention and consistency is rare, and I respect that a lot.

On top of that, the whole staff, waiters and waitresses, are very respectful, friendly, and helpful. They make sure your experience is smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.

Overall, Jessie and the team definitely make the dining experience worth coming back for. Highly recommend stopping by.“

“$8 combo with decent sized portion--chow mein, fried rice and a meat! Can't beat that! No frills restaurants. They don't soak their rice in oil like many Chinese restaurants. Good orange chicken, also saw they have jalapeño chicken and fried banana.

Parking might be tough in this neighborhood but it's free.

“I used to come here years ago. I worked basically a few doors down at the Dispensary. I haven’t been around in years but I was over in the area and I stopped by. The stand out here is the Spicy Orange Chicken!!! It was perfectly fried and the jalapeños were the perfect complement. The noodles had a great chew to them and my two other sides had a lot of flavor. I went with teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken.
There are chili oils on the counter and sriracha to take to your table. This is one of the hole in the wall places that I love.“

“We’ve been to Dan Modern Chinese a few times now, and it’s been consistently great every single visit—which is why we keep coming back.

We usually go for the Dan Mein with short rib (still a favorite!), but this was our first time doing takeout and trying the Dan Mein with shrimp—and it did not disappoint. The noodles were still perfectly cooked, the shrimp were plump and flavorful, and everything held up really well even to-go.

We also ordered the Mapo Tofu with pork, which was just as good as we remembered—rich, silky, and packed with that signature spicy, numbing kick. And the spicy oxtail noodle soup was a standout again, with deep, bold flavors and incredibly tender meat.

We added some steamed dumplings and xiao long bao too, and they were a great addition—fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Even as takeout, they held up nicely and rounded out the meal perfectly.

“Ordered takeout and food was made fast. Service was quick and front of the house is friendly. The chow men is a bit thicker. Their chicken dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. Their darker sauce dishes are more flavorful than other Chinese restaurants nearby. The moo goo gai pan was good. In comparison to other Chinese restaurants here, they have saltier food, but that lends to a good flavor.“

“No dine in so I won’t review service and atmosphere. Crab Rangoon was good. Orange chicken was fairly good but some pieces had more orange flavor than others. Black pepper beef had lots of vegetables and would have preferred more beef, flavor was good but could have been more peppery. Xo sauce string beans didn’t have much flavor, but I tasted the sauce in the bottom of the container and it was good so maybe the beans need to marinate more. I’ll try it again tomorrow and see if it tastes better. So, all in all, I’d say the food is kind of average.“

Best thing so far about this spot though? They have Char Siu, it's one of my favorite dishes and I've been struggling to find it here. Jjampong was decent. I think it lacked a bit of depth for the flavor. Sad there was no shrimp or other seafood. Noodles were decent and had a decent bite. 7.8/10. Chicken wings were... sad. I dont know if there was a sauce shortage... but it should be more a few drops on there... 7.4/10. I would also like to recommend a no pork in the jjajangmyun option. “Wok Express was a name I passed by but never paid attention to. I often found myself at Food 4 Less to grab something or just to get gas but never paid attention to much else.
I had been looking for a new quick Chinese spot because Panda is good in a pinch but they are not filling.
Today I looked up while getting gas and finally noticed what was right there in front of me.
The lady at the counter was welcoming and friendly. The portions were substantial and tasted amazing. I think my favorite is the spicy orange chicken.

“I had a terrific experience at this Panda Express inside Topanga Mall. I used my Tmobile Tuesday code on the orange chicken bowl for mobile order. When I went to pick it up, my food was already wrapped up in the bag. They give a decent amount of chicken with the rice. My sisters also met up with me after I finish eating my food and wanted to get her orange chicken bowl as well so I placed another order along with beef and broccoli. She then decided that she wanted Teriyaki chicken too but since my mobile order was already submitted, I told her to just order it in person. The line wasn't so bad, so she did the la carte Teriyaki chicken in a small box. The lady cutting the chicken and putting it in the box made sure that it's fully packed so that's highly appreciated because she made sure you get your money worth. Overall I would recommend coming here if you're craving a quick dish to eat.
