No reason not to go here if you like subways restaurants.“

“I’m touring a condo in Oakland for a client making an offer and I stop for a quick bite at a tiny sandwich place next to the Grand Lake Theater. OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. “Simple deli with imported Italian goodies. It seemed family owned and like they had regulars. Really nice people and community vibe. There are many sandwiches to choose or you can make your own. We got one muffuletta and one turkey bacon with pesto, mayo, cheese, and veggies. The gardenia on the muffuletta was delicious! Tangy, flavorful, and chunky. We tried the sourdough roll and it absorbed the gardenia juice really well and not soggy. The turkey was loaded! We got the Dutch crunch bread. Both were very good, bread was amazing I could just eat the roll. I can’t wait to go back.“

“I got the special combo ham sandwich without cilantro and jalapeno - but I found a jalapeno in my sandwich. My partner also found jalapeno in #20 grilled pork with lemon grass even it was ordered with no jalapeno. Beside that complaint, the banh mi was really good! The bread is soft and crunchy without hurting the roof of our mouth and it's fully stuffed with the meats and veggies while being affordable!

Although the inside of the shop is clean and organized, the streets is seemingly sketchy and dirty looking so be cautious. It might be hard to find parking.

It's a quiet little place in a strip mall, and when the guy I was traveling with brought me up to it I definitely had second thoughts. But wow! The staff is pretty good and welcoming especially being a first timer and not really understanding their process or knowing the menu. I wish the place was more organized. I was on my way up to Broadway Terrace to pick up Foster Grant the Warthog, he's been kinda in the dumps because he's all alone, he's got his pitbull buddies Rayban and Maui Jim but it's not the same. What he needs is a date night, so I'm taking him back to Napa for a hook up with Rosie O' my girlie Warthog, he's gonna come back to Broadway Terrace in a month or so, he'll be all scarred up and sore but he'll have some stories to tell his pitbull buddies that's for sure!

It was ready when I got there I recognized the lady's voice and ask her for the manger she told me she was the manager on duty. He was friendly and did a great job of listening to us as we made our sandwich requests. The location was spotless which is not common for fast food chains. VERY happy to say that they've improved significantly, I got the five spice chicken with an iced coffee and both are fantastic. Meat tastes great and the bread is perfect.
