“We have been here twice - both times for lunch. The sandwiches - especially the sand dab and calamari sandwiches - are outstanding. The restaurant itself is pretty basic - order at the counter and they bring you food in a bag out to you in the courtyards or to the tables inside. I cannot overstate how delicious the sandwiches - the toasted sourdough bread, sauce, pickle and very generous amount of seafood - makes them hugely satisfying and almost more than you can eat. Can't really speak for the other food, but it is probably great too. Ambience is very straightforward and no time or money is wasted on pretty-ing it up. But that adds to the charm Be advised - there are no bathroom facilities. (Although I was allowed to wash my hands in a sink near the door! I appreciated that.)“

“Great beer. The hot honey pizza was ok, needed more pepperoni and hot honey. The bbq chicken pizza was flavorful. The cauliflower appetizer was great- a little sweet and a little spicy. Loud environment and energetic. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was very busy on a Friday night. The pear tart was great, and th special sticky toffee pudding was good- a little sweet to my liking but expected. Will go back for sure. I felt the prices were reasonable.“

“Really pretty set up, both inside and outside. Been here three times now and have sat outside each time and it's been really nice each time. The menu is seasonal, which is nice, to try some new things, and it's a generous amount of food. We've enjoyed our food each time but really hoping the dessert options and quality picks up in the future, that was unfortunately a miss for us on both counts.“
