“I really enjoyed my experience, from the host of lively guests on a Sunday morning, to the assortment of talent on the pool table, the rye was worth every penny. I also loved the service I got both times I came in, the bar is a very trustworthy and honest place. The food is actually from the Deli around the corner, Castelli's, and is really good with a family vibe and great sandwiches.“
“Couldn't reserve on Valentine's day, so we ate there on the 15th. The Val-day menu was still available, so we shared the last black truffle pizza, w. a cheese base flecked with small bits of truffle. Then the server shredded truffle slices over the top--OMG--$65 and worth every penny! (Regular pizzas range from $17 to $26.) For starters, we split an arugula salad and a vegetable side (brown butter braised cabbage--even if you hate cabbage, you'll love this). For dessert, we shared the affogato. The chocolate was molded and formed against the side and bottom of the cup, then they poured espresso into the cup. Superb. I said to my husband, "This tastes like Valrhona." You know you have an outstanding server when you ask which brand of chocolate was used. Zach answered, "Valrhona." I use this superb variety for every chocolate dessert I make.“
“Well done! Six of us had the best time at Venus beachside! The remodel is gorgeous, the food dee-lish, and the staff was super attentive. The food and drinks are always the best at every Venus location! We were so happy to see the place busy and everyone having a good time. “The drinks & ambiance are great. I'd highly recommend coming here for the rotating bar or at the outside dining area. They have an interesting drink menu with standard cocktail pricing & the inside decor is amusing. The food is alright, small portions & high prices. The service could improve, but it was still a nice experience. Expect to spend ~$60/80 for two people.“
“This place definitely deserves 5 stars. The food was very delicious and tasty. The flavors were very delicate and had a somewhat Asian note. The scallops and the salmon were amazing. We couldn’t decide which one was better. It was the juiciest salmon my husband and I ever had.“

“Amazing, you can actually hear yourself think and carry on a conversation in this place! Pleasant staff, comfortable seating, nice atmosphere and I love the mosaic tile art flooring. The food was good, with large servings. I was planning on taking half home for later but I ate the whole thing. I don't know where I put it! I'd definitely go here again for a chill, casual eating experience. Prices weren't so bad either, considering the rise in cost of living lately.“

“Absolutely excellent place to go for dessert or just a fancy hot chocolate or a fancy cocktail. My spicy pineapple margarita was delicious. Three stars for just dinner in general. I got the Mole Trio and thought it was quite good. I thought the Amarillo was not nearly as flavorful as the other two, but I still enjoyed the variety and the other two were quite complex and delicious. The salad and polenta pie that accompanied it were meh. My husband got the ginger shrimp and felt that is was three stars. Deserts were super yum. The Sin Cake was delicious, although lighter than I thought it would be considering it was flourless. Tiramisu was also delicious, not too wet, and a very generous portion. There heated garden patio is extremely pleasant. Great spot for a date.“
“Excellent food, amazing service. The duck served three ways was the light bulb and the accompanying salad was the perfect counter to the richness of the duck. The fried chicken as always was amazing with a wonderful stack of fluffy potatoes.The only challenge is parking, however, the service from walking in the door through the entire meal will make you come back just to say hi“
“I went down to help support the recently storm damaged businesses in town. I was met with a cheerful hello and a nice warm place to have lunch.I had the toasted BLT and fries. Good proportions at a decent price. The sandwich was a bit on the greasy side for my tastes, but it was very good otherwise. I'll try it another day with a request to use a little less oil next time. I recommend the place for sure!“
“The service was superb. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and everything was delicious. The Hideout Burger my husband ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly. The extra side salad we ordered with it was fresh and large enough for my husband to share plenty with me. The server brought me a plate for sharing without me even asking. I ordered the swordfish special. The fish was buttery and flavorful. The risotto was equally delicious. And the veggies that came with it were fresh and the presentation was lovely. Portions were very large. We observed the staff quickly cleaning tables and sweeping up underneath the tables. Everything looked in order at all times. The outdoor seating was nicely spaced and the heaters made the outdoor seating very comfortable. We enjoyed everything about our experience. We will return.“
