“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We drove 1 hour and a half just to visit Bread Deluxe Bakery, and when we arrived, they were already about to close—but the two kuyas still welcomed us and let us buy. That kind of service truly means a lot.

The bread quality is amazing—super fresh and full of flavor. The puto and pandesal are especially outstanding, they really taste like home from the Philippines 🇵🇭

Highly recommend supporting this bakery. Great people, great service, and authentic, delicious bread. We’ll definitely be coming“

Trining’s Bakery & Cafe National City Bakery • $
450 E 8th St A, National City

“Food portion is a little off if you dine in. The rice and meat ratio is not good. Rice looks like they only gave you 1 or 1.5 scoop while the meat is a good amount. We got the spamsilog and wife got the tapsilog. They gave us 4 slices of spam, which is a good portion vs the rice. Good flavor on the food, the garlic rice, just needs a little bit of salt to taste. Overall good experience!“

Hot and Fresh Cheese Balls
Spanish Bread
Siomai

“I can't believe I've driven past this place numerous times without realizing it was there! A friend of mine stopped by and brought Spanish bread, which was the best I've ever tasted, hands down! She mentioned that everything at this bakery is good, so I decided to visit for the first time, and it did not disappoint.

It's located in a strip mall, and the shop itself is quite small with limited items on the shelves. This is actually a good sign, as it indicates that they sell out quickly and make everything fresh daily, unlike another bakery I used to frequent where items would sit for days.

During my visit, I ordered siomai, cheese balls, pandesal, ube bread, pork asado siopao, guinataan, and pancit, and everything was excellent! The baked items, except for the guinataan and pancit, were all bite-sized, which I love. The cheese balls had just the right amount of cream cheese—not too much and not too little. They were my favorite!

As for the pancit, it contained liver, which I enjoy, so it was perfect for me and tasted delicious. It wasn’t greasy at all. However, a family member of mine doesn't like liver, so I’m wondering if Salie can make the pancit without liver for those who aren’t fans. I’ll have to ask.

All I can say is that everything I bought here was fresh and delicious! I will definitely be coming back again and again. Plus, the lady at the register was so sweet!“

“The coconut buns were amazing! We had the baked pork and chicken buns too but the pork was our favorite! They didn’t have the steamed buns that day so we weren’t able to try those. Though the coconut buns were amazing. The coconut filling was not always centered. We found that the filling was always on one side and for me it got a little too sweet so I preferred the side without the filling while still getting that sweet bun flavor. And my husband loved the side without the filling so we just split it that way lol you will also have to go early because they sell out!!“

“It’s been good 6-7 year since the last time we dine-in at Goldilocks.

We decided to have our brunch after in laws morning appointment. Got lucky for a parking knowing it’s hard to get one on a weekend close to the restaurant. Attentive staff from start to finish. It was 930AM but decided not to order breakfast items instead ordered our regular UBER orders.

Ordered the following:

Crispy Pata - it’s a must for us! Crispy skin and juicy pata meat. Ordered Crispy Pata here five times last year through UBER since we just love how juicy and crispy it is.

Pansit Canton - well seasoned and great amount of toppings i.e veggies and meat. Noodles not overcooked.

Fresh Lumpia - not pictured. Fresh veggies wrapped in crepe with sweet savory peanut sauce completes the dish.

Highly recommend if you’re craving for some Filipino dishes.“
