“Amaya was so easy to work with from before placing an order to post-delivery for our baby shower. On our initial call, she listened carefully to my requests and how I envisioned our dessert table to look like. She was always available via text messages or phone calls for any questions. Her prices were also reasonable. On the day of the delivery, my friend who was handling my event set up said Amaya was very sweet and came on time to deliver the desserts. She even left us a sweet thoughtful card congratulating us on our baby shower. As for the desserts, they were to die for!! I don’t have much of a sweet tooth and my husband is all about desserts. So between the two of us, we can be picky. From the cookies to the fruit cups to the cupcakes, everything was delicious. Special shoutout to the fruit cups, they were so good (highly recommend them)!! Our guests loved the desserts and asked where we got them from. Unpredictability with opening/closing. Showed up today at 9:10 am, lights off, no donuts in the display. On their Google page, and their window, says they should be open. This has occurred at least 3 other times. Perhaps need to call before making the drive to come here.“

“I can't believe I've driven past this place numerous times without realizing it was there! A friend of mine stopped by and brought Spanish bread, which was the best I've ever tasted, hands down! She mentioned that everything at this bakery is good, so I decided to visit for the first time, and it did not disappoint.

It's located in a strip mall, and the shop itself is quite small with limited items on the shelves. This is actually a good sign, as it indicates that they sell out quickly and make everything fresh daily, unlike another bakery I used to frequent where items would sit for days.

During my visit, I ordered siomai, cheese balls, pandesal, ube bread, pork asado siopao, guinataan, and pancit, and everything was excellent! The baked items, except for the guinataan and pancit, were all bite-sized, which I love. The cheese balls had just the right amount of cream cheese—not too much and not too little. They were my favorite!

As for the pancit, it contained liver, which I enjoy, so it was perfect for me and tasted delicious. It wasn’t greasy at all. However, a family member of mine doesn't like liver, so I’m wondering if Salie can make the pancit without liver for those who aren’t fans. I’ll have to ask.

All I can say is that everything I bought here was fresh and delicious! I will definitely be coming back again and again. Plus, the lady at the register was so sweet!“

I am so pleased that I found Sugarbears Sweet Provisions, not only was the customer service excellent, the cake was created just as I imagined and was absolutely delicious!! “Recently I've been going to Tijuana for dental work and one morning before heading back to Las Vegas I was on the hunt for some pan dulce and some café de olla. Mind you I wake up early, it was a Saturday morning and I noticed they open at 3am! That was serendipity!

My wife and I get ready and arrive. Nestled in a plaza next do a donut shop mind you! We enter and were greeted by a very nice young lady. There is café de olla on a shelf to the right hand side as you enter. You can smell the fresh brewed coffee with a hint of cinammon right as you walk. The coffee taste like a breath of fresh air from México. So rich and delicous. They have such a large selection of pan dulces I was so delighted to choose a wide variety. The white and chocolate conchas are so airy and pillowy soft with a nice cinnamon hint. The elotes are typically a bit hard but not here, a bit dense bit still light and fluffy dough. They have stuffed bolillos, quite a few varieties actually. They have cheese, bean, ham, picadillo and jalapeño and cheese.

Prior to paying I realized they also made in house tamales so I definitely needed to try them as I am a connoisseur (ahem lol). We opted for a pork tamal in red and a chicken tamal in red. Let me tell you, that was one of THE BEST tamales I have had in years!! Mind you I make my own tamales for my family. The dough is soft and moist, the salsa used is spicy but not over the top, and the flavoring in the masa itself was stupendous. And then to top it off, I saw these in house made ham tortas. Oh man, my mouth is watering just thinking of it again. That torta though humble and simple, was hands down a 10 out of 10.
