“What a hidden gem! Definitely regret not having visited sooner. As the name mingei implies, the restaurant is a carefully curated international exhibit of food and the cultures that celebrate it in their own unique ways. The staff are docents for your culinary adventure and the chefs are masters of their craft. Some of my best bites in San diego in the past couple years, came from Artifact and I cannot wait to go back with more uninitiated.“

We ordered the creamy bun (hot creamy lightly sweet excellent) bbq pork bun (a little sweet for my taste but still really good fluffy delicious), scallion pancake (could have had more scallion but it was really crispy!), sezchuan chili oil wonton (lightly spicy and numbing really good wonton with the peanut!) the dandan noodles (very nutty delicious noodles) and the Xiao long bao (delicious hot and the ginger was fresh) Was really pleased about the scan to order at the table! Really fast service too. Came in on a rainy cold day, left warm full and happy. Would definitely come back!“

The Satay chicken was tender and flavorful....Pad Woon Sen was fresh and light with crispy vegetables. Cream cheese wontons were great and served as dessert. The portions were generous with plenty left over for a second meal. Pretty sure Little Thai Kitchen is now my favorite Thai food spot!😊“

“I have been craving good Thai for a few years. I have tried some not good and some okay other places. Thai Time is so good. The aromas of the spices tortured my already empty stomach with the enticement of good food to come. I have fallen in love with the food and customer service. I will be back as my budget allows.“

“Just keep in mind I came here on a Monday at 6 PM so we didn't have to wait for a table or battle for parking. This parking lot was not turned into a paid lot try. It's where Chorus and Hive are. It's still fairly new so the menu is slightly limited. We saw photos of dishes on the wall but were told they were not available until next year. The jjajangmyeon was slightly watery. I got the "meat" one so there were strips of grilled pork. My husband got the "spicy" one which was green chili on top. It was not crazy spicy according to him but it was not that painful spicy. We got the chili shrimp and I really liked that. It was crispy, fried jumbo shrimp over with sweet chili sauce on a bed of cabbage. It had enough heat making your lips feel some heat. I liked it even though it's not a fancy dish. If I don't have to come on a busy weekend night I'm down to come back.

Oh just be ready to order on really slow tablets but your order gets through as long you're patient with the tablets. The tables are far enough where you feel like you're not on top of each other like at other restaurants in Convoy.“

Tried other restaurants in LA china town and still not as good as this one. Even though i live farther away mow, i still drive there to get their special noodle soup (been eating since i was 5), eveyone i introduced this restuarant too now loves it. People who loves pho, once they try there noodles soup they can't do pho anymore. Fried egg noodles soup also to die for, including their thick fried noodles, i can go on forever with all their different dishes that will show you what asain/homemade style food is. I've tasted many different chinese food from here to Seattle/Mexicali and this to me is still the restaurant that others try to match up too. ??????“

I've tried several of their dishes (biang biang noodles, liang pi noodles, big chicken plate, stewed beef noodles, and stewed lamb noodles) and all of them were delicious. I love how the noodles are made from scratch, it's just a completely different taste and texture compared to dried noodles.“

“Finally visited Slurp yesterday all the way from LA and it definitely lived up to the hype…but not for what you might expect. Everyone obviously comes here for the viral Crab Rangoon Burrito, which is understandable. Personally, it was a little bit overwhelming for me. Maybe I would feel differently if o had someone else to share it with, but it was a lot of cream cheese for one sitting and a lot sweeter than I anticipated. The real star of the show is their Spicy Basil Steak Burrito. I can’t even find the words to describe how good it was. All I know is that I was surprised that it wasn’t the menu item that everyone was going crazy over. 12 out of 10, unlike anything I’ve ever eaten before in the form of a burrito. DO NOT LEAVE HERE WITHOUT GETTING THIS. Trust me 🏆“

They charge $1 for literally the smallest piece I've ever seen and when I called to voice my concern about feeling ripped off, they didn't care. “We discovered this restaurant pre-pandemic. Im glad it made it through. We have a calm dinner. Place was not busy during our visit. Guess thats the advantage of going out on a weekday night, with foggy weather.
We enjoyed our brisket pho. Meat slices were thick, wish they were tender and the broth was good, might need to be less salt. Tofu pad thai was good, i opt for mild spice 4/10, in case my toddler wants to try it. Me and my husband loved the Ka Na Moo Krob.
We don't know whats it in the water other than the lemon, but it taste good. We appreciate being given big bottles if water instead of waiting for someone to refill. And thank you for keeping the washroom clean.“

“Nice, clean and friendly spot in a smaller retail strip. A fairly decent range of choices and everything was supper fresh. Spice ratings go 1-5. I’m a 0; my sister is a 6. She still added more hot chili paste to her vegetarian entree (sorry - I forget what she had). I had the Garlic Noodles and they were FANTASTIC. The pork was amazingly tender and delicious. The portions were enormous and I had it for lunch the next day! Try it out. I know I’m going back!“

“We were actually trying to eat at another restaurant in the same plaza but couldn't get a table for Friday night (all tables there were already booked for the entire night). So we ended up here. We weren't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the uni and ikura rice bowl which came with miso soup, fried tofu, and pickled cabbage. Everyone else ordered other items (poke bowls and chirashi bowl). We all thoroughly enjoyed the food. My favorite were the dishes with tofu, you can tell it was freshly made. Even with the miso soup, it was so soft and silky.
The restaurant itself felt homey and something you'd stumble into in Japan. It was a little small/tight, but we had enough room to sit comfortably. The staff were all very nice.
I'd definitely come back again.“

One of the waitresses was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout my interaction with her. “Says Chinese food but also has Thai food but a bunch of Vietnamese writing. Red curry is spicy. They included tail on for shrimp in the curry. Kung pao chicken was crispy and had a nice amount of heat. Pork and Chinese broccoli was good. Thai noodles with beef needs improvement and more beef. They didn’t include rice with my curry and wanted to charge $2.75 for some which is absurd. Parking lot in back“

“Absolutely the best I’ve tasted Better than pho ca dao and cow pho and any other places. It would be my reg spot if it wasn’t so far. The price is a lil higher but so worth it I’m telling you. I ordered #1. There’s a language barrier and I ordered more noodles and meat but only got noodles but it was still so good. The salt and pepper chicken was ok but not the typical I’m use to. I had a couple try it they liked it but it def was different. Menu is amazing so much to pick. Taro boba avg but presentation of everything is so good highly recommend. I’ll be returning def“

“Drove from the naval base and back, ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and barely sat down for 5 minutes before my order was complete. These traveled so well. I patiently waited 20 minutes before eating them at home and they stayed crunchy. Is considerably better than royal mandarin. Customer service was amazing.“
