“I've been eating here for a while and coming from Publix subs I do like the Italian herbs and cheese here, even during lunch hour when the line's long, my online orders always seem prep'd for me somehow. The subs aren't toasted as long as Publix, but the bread benefits from not being too dry and crunchy, but sometimes if I order before a 20 minute commute or something they're not freshly hot which I kind of would enjoy more, but at that point I might as well just give myself the time to sit down and eat at the restaurant, which isn't their fault but my own. Considering that's my only complaint I could probably just ask them to toast it longer next time and see how that works out, but I typically forget to ask.“

“We celebrated my mom’s 90 th birthday last night at Ottavios. We have had prior celebrations in the past, 44 years ago we had our Wedding Rehearsal dinner there ! The back private room is so nice to have a dinner party! We were allowed to arrive early and decorate. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! The food was delicious and huge portions! The service was excellent! I highly recommend Ottavios if you are looking for the perfect dinner party location!“

Our food arrived quickly, but didn't taste (or look) like it was slapped together. Staff was friendly and I appreciated that they had to-go boxes available without having to ask. Very good portions. I’ve never cooked a brisket, and Tom kindly showed me two he smoked last night, both beautifully browned and crusty, and ready to be sliced across the grain. “I was first introduced to Bright Spark In March at the Ventura Beer Experience. We talked with a lovely couple behind the table and tasted Day Trip, which has become my all-time favorite. We were introduced to a concept called Musical Bingo that day, and I was delighted to make my first visit to the brewery on my 55th birthday in May. Every single one of the employees there was kind, gracious, and warm. The food was absolutely amazing and the Musical Bingo is so much fun! “I recently moved to Camarillo and tried this place for the first time this weekend. I'd driven by so many times but never knew it was there. Very small with limited seating inside. There is a nice patio with additional seating outside. I ordered Bánh mì with grilled chicken on a baguette. It was delicious and so reasonably priced. The sandwich was about $11 and lasted 2 meals. The other menu items looked amazing as well, but I'm going to have a hard time not ordering the Bánh mì every time. I will definitely frequent this place in the future.“

“What a wonderful dining experience. Bee was our amazing server and host and she provided stellar service as did the chefs who were very kind and friendly. We started with drinks and soups. My wife had the hot and sour with tofu and I had the wonton with chicken. So yummy! We then ordered our entrees with beef with vegetables and Kung pao chicken. Both entrees came with rice and the dishes were plentiful and delicious. We took half of it home for tomorrow. Great place with a positive vibe and ambiance.

“I decided to order an iced caramel macchiato and got a small. Big mistake—I should have ordered a large because I finished it in no time!

The atmosphere is super cute and cozy. It honestly reminded me of the coffee shop from the TV show Friends. You can tell they have a lot of regular customers, which is always a good sign and says a lot about the quality of both the drinks and the service.

Everyone was friendly, and the overall experience was great. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by and treating yourself to a large iced caramel macchiato—not a small like I did!

So was the Chicken Marssla w/mash and Grilled Salmon w/risotto. But the Grilled Rack of Lamb w/mash and the Chilean Bass w/risotto were just unbelievable!! We will definitely go back!“

The portion was generous. Oh, definitely get the fries. It was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it was perfectly seasoned.
Service was quick and all the guys working there during the Sunday lunch hours were great. They kept the place clean and tidy. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.“

“They are closing permanently in July— so sad! Picked up some amazing steamed crabs after our boat ride. Tasted great, super fresh and juicy. They steamed and cracked them perfectly and we didn’t need any tools to eat them.

They weigh and price it in front of you at the live tank. FYI each rock crab is about 1.5-2 lbs so around $20 each, and spider crabs are over 6 lbs ($70+) each. One pound of grilled prawn is about 6-7 of them.

Note that they close the live crab tank around 4:15-4:30pm so be sure to get there early if you want crabs.

The lines can be long and steaming can be a wait. Or order took about 20 minutes.

There are restrooms in the parking lot but it’s a bit of a walk and pretty run down, so we decided to have our order to go.“

Today I got Açaí/chia/coconut base w/passion fruit & granola, with banana & mango, almond butter & date drizzle, goji berries, bee pollen & almond toppings. My husband and 3 kids got whatever they wanted (the best!). My 6yo only wanted açaí, granola, honey, & bee pollen, so you can go really simple or complex! It is really similar to chipotle or cafe rio with all of the delicious options. We also got 3 empanadas: beef, mushroom, & samosa. Great food, great service.

My only complaint is that we're visiting from the IE, and there is no Ubatuba near our home.“
