“My friends wanted to take me to the movies for my birthday and Grass Valley is a short 30 minute beautiful drive from our country town. Prior to leaving one friend sent be a text that we had to go to this little place to get the most amazing rootbeer floats before our showtime. Me being one to never turn down any form of ice cream agreed. Our drive up the hill became quite exciting as we started into a freak April snowstorm, which just added to the fun. We arrived at this mystery place that harkened back to the days of our childhood when it was such a treat to go to a restaurant that had car hops on roller skates bringing food to your car.By this time it was REALLY snowing and cold but so beautiful. We went in and I ordered the biggest root beer float they offer it was AWESOME! then I found out they make their own root beer and they do a heck of a job at that! The staff are friendly and they keep a clean establishment and it brought back happy memories of a simpler, happy time. I look forward to returning?“

My orders have been accurate and the service has been friendly.Update: It is now April of 2024. The restaurant is fully open. The dining area, restrooms and parking lot are clean. The service is still expeditious. The food is the same quality it has always been. My favorite is the Western Bacon Cheeseburger.“
