“I haven't been to ihop in almost 6 years. This morning i got an omelette and potatoes and stack of pancakes. The food was honestly ok I didnt care for it but the pancakes are great but I got seated by a really nice girI didn't pick up her name but she asked me how my day was and complimented my outfit. I could tell she was busy but she was super nice anyway.“

“Solid breakfast spot that has good food and plenty of options. The breakfast burrito came out hot and fresh and was packed with flavor. They are famous for their coffee cake which is delicious and crumbly. The building is very old but well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a cozy setting for a comfortable meal.“

“Came here today with my boyfriend. John gave us great costumer service and an amazing sandwich!!!! I finished mine before my boyfriend and we got the same exact thing. Great cream cheese as well. Serious sandwiches are made here! They're worth EVERY PENNY!!!! THANK YOU!!!

“This restaurant was exactly what I was looking for after leaving the busy city of San Francisco as I headed back to San Diego. It checked all the boxes from loads of parking, chill spot, dog friendly, friendly staff and good food. “Yummy Taiwanese style sandwiches. I guess this style might not be for everyone but I really like the slight sweetness and how soft the bread is in Taiwanese breakfast sandwiches. I always get the signature which has ham egg and sausage. The cucumbers and mayo add a nice freshness. I also tried the taro pork floss sandwich which I enjoyed because I love taro. Definitely super nostalgic of when I go to Taiwan.“

Unfortunately, the cafe is closing on 3/27/2026.
I work a couple blocks away so I walk over with our visitors, every few weeks or so.
All the food is delicious, the specials are fun. I think the grilled sandwiches are my favorite.“

“Absolutely love Joanie's Cafe when I'm craving a good ole American style breakfast. I grew up with those meals and Joanie's reminds of those great times.
Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, omelettes, Benedicts, pancakes, juices and coffee. You arrive hungry and leave satisfied because the portions are hefty. Doesn't break the bank either. Great service from a professional staff.
My favorite is to visit Joanie's on a Sunday and enjoy the Farmer's Market on California Ave right after.“

“No pictures of the meal because it was just THAT GOOD. Tables back up to the parking lot so it's a little crowded but the coffee and the food are so incredible that I don't care. Absolutely fantastic and I feel like I haven't had breakfast as good as that in a while. Had the morning burger, Southside style croissant, and a side of tater tots. My partner and I split each and it was the perfect amount, everything was cooked perfectly and the fries and tots were crispy. I'll be dreaming of this food for weeks to come and I am so sad that I am not from the area and can't eat here every weekend.“

“A Mountain View classic, as most kids in Mountain View grew up with their donuts.
their sandwiches are a bit pricey, compared to many other South Bay Area Deli’s, but it is worth it because their sandwiches are so darn good. The sandwiches are also very large.
Their Dutch crunch roll is my favorite go to, along with their roasted beef sandwich their turkey sandwich and their avocado BLT.
The ambience used to be super homie, but since they moved to this new location, it’s more modern. I sure do miss the old school ambience. I may also be biased because it’s nostalgic.“

“Me and my husband came into IHOP in Milpitas to have some breakfast very fast and easy environment. Very quiet had a wonderful breakfast and best of all our server Marcos five stars great greeting in customer service. I review this place if I could give it a 10 😊“

“Oh my goodness, I wish I lived near this place. I want to try everything on the menu! It was so good, a little bit busy but you can see why once you get one bite of food. 10 out of 10 for sure. The drinks were strong, and the service was great, we had a nice Mexican gal who was very accommodating and super friendly. I wish I remembered her name. Definitely give this place a try.“

“Best tamales anywhere , don’t know where these two people rating 1 start are buying from . (Haters) the tamales are so delicious. If they wouldn’t be, she will spend all day selling and I can Guarantee you if you stop around noon she is gone. Give it a try , like it …you will be back if not move on. But don’t be hater.“
