“My bf & I have been coming here for going on 5 or 6 years now & aren't gonna stop bc this place is just that good & way better than any boba shop around!! “I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“My favorite place to get coffee. Have a few specialty drinks I toggle between that are my favorites. They have some unique and delicious muffins and a chocolate chip cookie to die for. I parked in the adjacent parking garage for free. Enter through the lobby doors at the back. The parking lot is for employees. You can't miss you are in the right place, the aromas are amazing! I recommend opting for a less than normal sweet level as these are very decadent recipes.

There was 21 of us, including family members, and therefore people ordered a variety of dishes. She said it was wonderful. We all had a wonderful time there, but I couldn't leave without complimenting the chef. “Great variety of sandwiches, breakfast and lunch, donuts, drinks with or without bobo, blended or on ice. The drinks are sealed after preparation so you can safely drive without the drink spilling. They have a good selection of bottled and canned drinks, including fresh made vegetable and fruit drinks. I highly recommend this local small business over Dunkin' or Winchell's. I usually get the #1 breakfast sandwich, ham egg cheese on a croissant but I sub the ham with turkey.“

“Travelled from Nova Scotia, Canada recently for an event. Love hunting down good coffee and good vibes. Rented a car for the day and stumbled on Awkward Coffee. Based on the name alone I knew we had to go. Very friendly staff, great selection of specialty drinks and sweet treats. Got to sample their new strawberry cold foam while we were waiting as well 🫣 I would make the trip from Nova Scotia again just to go back and visit this shop. I liked how you have multiple different options to order (online, at the cashier, or one of the tables)The menu has good variety of selections (smoothies, milk teas, etc). I asked the staff and she recommended me to try having the strawberry coconut smoothie and it was refreshing. I had no idea it would be that BUSSING!The seating was good. I liked how they have claw machines and coin gum candy.Room of improvement: it would be great to have board games (king domino, chess, cards)Thank you for the cool experience.

Most shudder at the idea, but this coffee is rich and absolutely delicious--- and the strength, which is a relative term, only increases the enjoyment. Starbuck's, for example, is strong, as well, but it can be bitter and harsh. Not so wide WE beans! Quite the opposite. It's a grand place to sit and relax, and the atmosphere is cordial and inviting. It is now our favorite "coffee haunt."“
