“Halal spot ; We were on the way to South back home and stop by this restaurant for our light dinner.
I think it’s family owned and the prices are pretty reasonable. The staff were very friendly, and assisted us in ordering. Everything turned out good, they were super nice providing us extra condiments, etc. Be sure to select your spice level wisely cuz we ended up in tears, but we still enjoyed it though.

We hope that we can visit this place again next time we are on the way back from north

“I recently visited bb.q Chicken in Costa Mesa and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. The portions were just right, and the food arrived impressively fast. I found the fries especially unique – they had a powdered cheese coating with a slight sweetness, adding an interesting twist.

The star of the meal was, of course, the chicken. It was juicy and flavorful, with a marinade that didn’t overwhelm the crispiness of the batter underneath. Since this is Korean cuisine, there’s a subtle hint of sweetness in most dishes. While sweet flavors aren’t usually my preference, I knew to expect it with Korean flavors, and it worked well here. The prices were reasonable, making it all the more worth it.

Overall, a solid place to get flavorful and well-prepared Korean fried chicken.“

“Initial entrance, I was welcomed by our wonderful cashier who was filled with kindness and a lot of enthusiasm. We were also given free Daves hot chicken holiday scratches. Although we didn’t win, it was still fun! The food here is always top notch. Fast service and a heartwarming environment!“

“If you're in the mood for Mediterranean food; this is the place to go in Orange County. I eat here once a week and the food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. This a fast casual establishment so you have to order at the register first and they bring your meal to the table when its ready. The staff at the register are always polite and will help you with the vast menu choices if needed. The kabobs and salads are outstanding and don't forget to try the delicious chicken soup which is freshly made every day. Portion sizes are generous as well. Manager Joe and his staff will take of you and your dining party with the same level of attention you would receive in a full-service restaurant. “I have been on an elimination diet for 11 months (AIP) and have had to give up eating out because no one serves anything I can have without completely changing the menu item! Chixy Natural’s Paleo Bowl was absolutely delicious! Such simple and yummy ingredients! Best of all, I didn’t have to cook it myself. We will be going there again!“

My boy ordered the medium spicy, and it kicked his butt.The cash register doesn't have a bright screen you could easily see. So you don't know how much your spending. Is just a touch pad that says, 'insert card here'. I usually just do a couple of bucks into the bucket but today. I said let's push on that 15% tip. It was like $6 something??? A whole other burger. That's the last time I do that.“

“I feel like El pollo loco is underrated really. The chicken is honestly amazing for such a simple place. Everything else can be a hit or miss but the chicken is always spot on, if you come here, you definitely have to try the chicken, if you try anything else then you can't complain or else your just a Crazy Chicken.

The service is great, they are fast and efficient and generous.

The ambiance is casual with some good music playing, the music is played at a slightly above average sound level. Seats are cushioned and well lit with some outdoor seating is some nice weather.“

There's a few tables inside to dine in and shares a big parking lot with other businesses nearby. We only live about 10 minutes away so our food was still hot when we got back. Chicken stayed crispy too. My partner had a bad 1st time experience at a different location so this actually restored some trust in this franchise hahaha“

“The Hainan Chicken rice dish is best I have ever tasted in OC. The chicken is tender and moist and all three sauces were provided were amazingly good - the sweet chilli with a bit of tang, sweet soy sauce, and the ginger scalion sauce. The rice is also very tasty if a bit hard but easily soften with the piping hot chicken broth included. If you love Hainan Chicken rice, this place is definitely a must!
