this location deserves some serious credit. The place was spotless from top to bottom, the veggies looked super fresh, and everything tasted perfect.
The staff was fast, friendly, and clearly cared about the food and the customers.
My sandwich was made exactly how I wanted it, and it actually looked like the pictures for once! You can tell this branch takes pride in what they do. Definitely one of the cleanest and best Subways I’ve ever visited. I’ll be coming back for sure.“

This spot seriously delivered… if you’re a sandwich person, you NEED to try this place 🤤

I ordered the Black Cadillac and wow… one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while 🙌 It’s loaded with tri-tip, black garlic butter, sweet balsamic glaze, lettuce, tomato, white onion, and parmesan cheese and every bite was packed with flavor. You can tell the meat is smoked for a long time because it’s super tender and has that deep, rich, smoky taste 😮‍🔥

That said, the meat definitely carried the sandwich. I almost wish there were a bit more toppings to balance it out, like extra balsamic glaze or more lettuce and tomato. But if their goal is to really highlight the meat, then they nailed it 👏

Also got the mac and cheese on the side and this was not your average mac… it had pieces of brisket mixed in which made it even better 🧀 The flavor was so good and really complemented the sandwich

I will say, the wait was a little longer than expected for the size of the line, but honestly… completely worth it once you get your food 👏

Overall, such a solid spot for high-quality, flavorful sandwiches. Definitely coming back for this one 🥪💯“

“Just dropped off my Slaphapper Wallyhoot to Briskit Öndagrïll over at his place, ..the Strike Three bowling ball factory so he can adjust the gyroscope for me. When I passed by Tony Baloney's I knew right then and there were I was going to eat. I've heard about Tony Baloney's but I've never been, so today I'm going to see if the urban legend is true!
Well, I don't know if they make the best sandwiches in the world..but Sactown for sure is in the top 3!

“This might be the best Subway in the greater Sacramento area. They are generous with the portions, sauces, & seasonings, the staff, especially the owner (or maybe manager), are so nice & yes they do accept EBT for anyone on the hot meals program. The food seemed better than other Subways I've been to in the region. Water/ice cups are free if you need one. If you're in the northern area of Sacramento this is the Subway you want to go to if you're craving it. I got a free cookie with my meal too ❤️“

“Such delicious fresh food!! Very hard to find fresh food anywhere now-a-days. I ordered To-Go when I arrived at the store. I waited 20ish minutes, which I fully expected because they really craft your food here. But, the staff was very apologetic and offered complimentary items for my wait. “Two days ago was in the store with my husband Michael - I echo his praise and add the following comments:

Always allowed to use the restroom so don’t know what the one guy on Yelp is complaining about. It is well documented that the store closes at 8pm, and on this night, they didn’t rush us out even though we were still eating at 8pm. They let us stay while they cleaned the store for the night so we could finish eating. My husband wanted a meatball sandwich. Thank goodness the employee let us know that at that time of night, right before closing, the meatballs were frozen so my husband can change his mind. The meatballs during the day probably have the chance to marinade with the sauce…they would taste awful if used frozen. As for hygiene, the store is immaculate AND they wash their hands before handling food. I even saw gloves in use. One lady on Yelp complained about people from the Middle East. The absolute irrelevance of national origin, and the nature of her comments, suggests racism. If by Middle East she is trying to infer Muslim religion, then she should understand how important being a good host is to a Muslim…I have NEVER been treated so well as I am treating by Muslims while on travel. With regard to the two men I always see on duty at the store, one may be a Muslim (irrelevant, if he is) but I doubt the other is a Muslim; he wears his hair like he is a Sikh (not Muslim) which would suggest he is from Punjab, the north of India, which is in South Asia, not the Middle East. This potential Punjabi gentleman is very friendly to me and my husband, every visit.

When I saw the store is immaculate, I mean spotless. the table and floors, even behind the counter, are always clean, the trash in the bin not overflowing, and there are no bad smells. I am posting this on Google because the review on Yelp was so unfair. This place, the food, and these people are great. We drive a considerable distance just to order food with them.“

“I had a great lunch today while I charged my car across the street. I was happy to find out they have gluten free buns that are also dairy free ( I think they were also egg free and soy free). And I was able to substitute vegan Gouda cheese for the regular cheese. They inquired about allergies and were able to clean the prep area to help reduce cross contamination, and read lables on rolls, dressing, etc. I am quite satisfied!“
