This small location in an old midtown house turned store front that has hardwood flooring, plenty of inside seating and a restroom. Closes quite early so be sure to come before 3pm (LUNCH HOURS) Today I ordered 3 sandos. My mom and son both got the Kings Court with pepper jack on a French roll. I ordered the Sac Bee on Dutch crunch with pepper jack. Comes with marinated hot chicken, bacon, avocado, and choice of cheese. “Portland/Las Vegas guy here... I've tried a lot of sandwich places, always hoping to find the best of the best, but I just haven't found THE PLACE until now! Dad's Sandwiches are remarkable. My husband and I stopped by on a roadtrip recently, and loved the place so much we decided to organize our schedule such we could stop on the way home as well. I ordered the Baja Bird (Twice) and loved every bite. The sandwich is flavorful and juicy, and packed with delicious avocado, chicken, bacon and fresh veggies. The bread is flakey on the outside, and buttery and delicate inside. There's generally a wait on the weekends, but I promise you... hold steady, because these sandwiches are worth the wait! My husband ordered the tri-tip sandwich the first time we visited, but they were unfortunately sold out of that specific sandwich. They offered to substitute the beef for turkey and added extra cheese free of charge. (I thought that was kind of them) The second time we visited he was able to order the tri-tip and said it was the best he's ever had. Now here's the sad part... these folks are in Sacramento and I only make it to town once or twice a year. That's just too long to wait until I can start working my way through the rest of their menu. “So I usually go to LaBou when at work but decided to stop here for lunch as people have been bragging about the cafe. I went inside the building and noted it's secure. Must show security your state badge for access and if not a state employee you can sign the visitor log. Walked into the cafe and was a bit lost lol. I looked at the menu to find something to eat. I learned the salads are in the refrigerator and are fresh. Cash registers are in the middle toward the exit area. Staff were friendly and guided me because I was confused lol. My salad was sooo affordable and way cheaper than LaBou. I went back to my building to eat but you can eat in the cafeteria. When I ate my salad, I was sooo impressed by the freshness of everything and was full. I'm definitely coming back when in the office and bringing my peers with me. Can't wait to come back.“

Very knowledgable, they have a huge menu, I ordered the "Litacanrana #414" named after my favorite childhood wrestlers signature move. Yes you read that right #414 out of a total 800 sandwiches and counting.... A little pricey but what isnt nowadays, I think my sandwich was 16$-18 compared to a 13-15$ sandwich from subway and well worth the couple dollar difference.“

I added the ghost pepper cheese to it and jalapeños " OMGOSH " delicious! Same for the Excalibur! Most of the time it's not the morning but still anytime of day is great when the bagels are fresh like they are here. I never had a stale bagel and the sandwiches are good as well even though I feel that a little more meat may make a better sandwich it is prepared nicely and always fresh as well.“

“I love Mr. Pickles sandwiches because they offer a large selection of veggies unlike some other sandwich locations. If you ask, you can add cucumbers to your sandwiches as well. They are pretty small, though at this location! Not too much space for sitting and parking outside. The food quality is always delicious and fresh. I say four stars instead of five only because they usually take quite a while to prepare the sandwiches, even though they aren't very busy. So just be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes for your sandwich!“
