“Chowking is one of the best Filipino small restaurants here in California. Their halo halo is one of my favorite especially summer time. Beef noodles and pork asado siopao is also really good. Employees are very nice and friendly and the parking is good too.“

“First time coming here and it was delicious! Tried the short ribs, chicken kebab, beef kebab, and shrimp kebab. All of it was really good, but the short ribs were my favorite, then the shrimp. The hot sauce on the shrimp works really well together. The plates come with plenty of rice, small salad, a potsticker, an onion ring, and some sort of sweet crispy wonton. We ordered in person to go and the order didn't take too long, a little less than 10 minutes I think.“

Very reasonable prices. There is a little something extra spice wise in the fried rice. I can't quite identify the spice, but it makes all the difference. “They have the best Pho in the Reseda area. This is my go to spot since the goldfish in the front entrance.. they have really made it look nice. All their pho is delicious. Everything on the menu is amazing. They are also opened late that is a plus. Location is always busy but worth the wait. Their food is authentic tasting.“

I think I'll like their marinara sauce pizza more because the onions were a looooot for me. But if you love onions, this is the place!!!The pizza dough and crust was just ? great. Soft, pillowy. “This is my favorite Thai place. This gem is small but mighty. Their food is always so good, my favorites are the yellow curry with chicken, pad see ew with chicken and their beef salad. The lava cake with ice cream is the best ending. Portions are nicely sized. The lunch specials are perfect during the week. Delivery is always quick, and the drivers are so friendly. I also love the thai iced coffee. I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious Thai cuisine.“

“A new food place!!! Really liked the pad se ew and ofc the mango sticky rice. The whole shop is ran by a sweet older lady and tastes just like a home cooked meal my mom would make me. Highly recommend. Parking can be a little annoying so I’m jealous of the people who live in the building because I would come here weekly if I was living upstairs.“

“This is by far the best Thai food I've tasted, every thing we have ordered there was extremely flavorful and very authentic.
I have been to Thailand many times so i know authentic Thai food when i taste it.
The staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
The car park can get a little full but there is extra parking at the rear.
Id like to say this is a hidden gem but its getting quite popular with the staff from the hospital over the road.“

“The food here as well as service is beyond any experience I've had in LA since I moved here 14 years ago. Chinese food is my favorite, but I have never found one in this town or surrounding cities that could match this place on all points. Some places have good food but rude waiters, or good waiters bad food, you get the point. Came here Sunday after church with my mother for lunch and we were both so impressed. “Northern Chinese cuisine is so good! We were in the mood for some good dumplings and noodle, and I remembered that I wanted to try this restaurant Northern Cafe right by CSUN.

It's a nice, spacious restaurant with plenty of booths and windows. The staff were friendly and the food came out on time, so that's a plus there.

Now when it came to our meal, we definitely enjoyed everything that we ordered. We started out with Garlic Chicken Wings and Popcorn Chicken (not spicy at all, but delicious), and they both were great starters, especially if you like having the saltier side of your fried chicken. The Popcorn Chicken is almost addicting and it's easy to finish it before you know it.

Then out comes the House Special Beef Noodle Soup which I think is almost a mandatory must-have. I did wish I went with hand-pulled noodles instead of the regular noodle, but you can't go wrong with any of their noodle options. The broth was, warm, calming, and steeped in the wonderful aromatic beef flavor, while the noodle and beef were cooked to near perfection. Add some (or a lot) of chili oil, and you have yourself some noodle nirvana!

The handmade Juicy Pork Dumplings may be hot (caution), but slurping the hot soup out of them was half the fun! They were well made and were just a treat. 8 pieces are plenty to start so they're not stingy with their portions.

Finally, the Angus Beef Fried Rice was our last dish and it was quite good although it fell a bit short compared to the other dishes. It's not that it was not tasty, it just wasn't as tantalizing and was a bit more one-note and could have uses a bit more kick in the flavors.

All in all though, I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of their menu!“

“What a wonderful experience. I knew this was gonna be awesome as soon as I walked in. We were quickly greeted and seated. They were playing the kpop demon hunters album....bonus points! Our server Gia gave us wonderful recommendations such as the sweet and sour crispy pork (life changing). We also had seafood noodles with shrimp, squid, and pork! Finally a small bowl of a spicy seafood soup. The flavors were insanely good and food came out quick and hot. Will forsure be back!“

“I’ve tried dozens of Pho locations and this one is by far the best one. People need to understand just how healthy pho is for you especially the broth, I eat at this location at least 3 times a week and I’ve been losing weight and feeling better. I get their #17 and I ask them to put the meat in the broth since I’m grabbing it for takeout, once I get home the meat is nice and cooked. And they are lighting fast! Who said fast food isn’t healthy?“

We had green beans with minced pork, kung pao chicken, fish filet in black bean sauce, and shrimp with lobster sauce. They are all very good and tasty. A little on the salty side, but still delicious with a "strong character" ;-)
