12 Best Donuts in North Hollywood

“I was in the mood for some donuts last night and I stopped by around 5 pm. Was greeted really warmly and ordered a dozen donuts to go. The entire atmosphere was very comforting and the staff were very kind. The donuts smelled very fragrant and warm. When I got home I had a raspberry jelly donut and I was absolutely blown away. I have NEVER tasted such a perfect donut in my entire donut eating life lol. The donut had a perfect amount of glaze, the raspberry jelly was sweet and tasted fairly real (not artificial) and the donut was super soft and delicious. I highly recommend checking them out.“

“We absolutely loveee Perfect Donuts, not only are the donuts freshly made but their boba is also fresh. I worked at a boba shop and I can tell very easily when the boba has been out for too long. There is a young woman who always helps us and she is the sweetest person ever, always goes out of her way to make us feel welcomed. My sons both like white glazed with colorful sprinkles and today they were sold out; this amazing woman grabbed two plains and made them for them without us having to ask ! Not only that, she even made sure they were both just the way they like them without me even mentioning! I absolutely love this place and will continue to come. They also have fresh pressed juices and a lot more stuff that we will definitely be trying. 😄😄“

“It's been awhile since I've been here due to the pandemic. I've always stopped in after finishing my laundry in the little shopping plaza. Today was no exception, and man... it's as good as I remembered. Ordered my usual turkey & ham croissant (everything on it) with some OJ. This huge baked croissant filled with cheese, jalapeño and ham caught my eye, so I also got that to go. The sweet owner threw in a free donut as well! Took them home to enjoy. Fresh, comforting and delicious ♡.“

“They were sold out of some of the popular specialty donuts but the food and coffee was good. The prices have increased and are not as low as $1.25 per donut. Everything has understandably increased in price. The donuts all start at $2.00.“

“So my "Gold Standard" for donuts is a 4.7 rating or higher. Perfect Donuts at the time of this review, but as they say, "beggars can't be choosers." However, Perfect Donuts definitely deserves a 5 star rating, in my opinion. Donuts were super fresh, and the Maple bar was definitely the best I've had in many, many years. I would highly recommend this donut shop!“

“Re: the Riverside Drive location in Sherman Oaks……Very Nice employees always, but some of the food needs to be fixed.
******(Update …they fixed only one thing I mentioned and it wasn’t for the positive it was negative….i mentioned the English muffin egg sandwiches were nice and big, lots of egg…. Instead of putting more egg in the breakfast wraps as I asked, they actually cut the size of the eggs in half for the English muffin sandwiches. Total failure.
Instead of fixing the wraps they probably yelled at an employee to decrease the eggs on the muffin…. Typical corporate!!!)
The hot breakfast wraps should have way more eggs like a breakfast burrito, they are “flat” and not “round”…..it doesn’t fill you up. It’s so skinny. I saw one tiny piece of egg. That’s why they call it a wrap apparently, it’s thin as paper. No filling. I don’t care if you charge more, just put some real filling and eggs inside. A real meal. Call it a breakfast burrito instead of a wrap after you make it into one.
Charge me $9.99 instead of $6.99…. That’s fine!!!…….and give me a real breakfast burrito. Instead of a wet thin tortilla with a few pieces of potato.
It should be round!!!! Not flat!
Put some blu cheese dressing on ur salad bar as well.
And blu cheese crumbles, next to the feta crumbles.
You have meatloaf on ur hot bar, but no gravy. The meatloaf gets dried out under that heat lamp. You need a separate deep dish of gravy. The bbq sauce on the meatloaf gets dried out under the heat lamp and sticks to the metal pan like glue.
Again, the employees are wonderful and the prices are reasonable.
But the things I mentioned are common sense.
Noon wants to spend $7.00 on a “flat” burrito/wrap.
They want a round breakfast burrito…with an egg white option.
I’d love an egg white, spinach, feta, tomato Greek style breakfast burrito. Or an egg white vege breakfast burrito.
People want gravy on dried out meatloaf
And blu cheese dressing is a staple in a salad bar.
Oddly , the breakfast English muffin has a 4 inch thick huge cooked liquid egg on it…. But you can’t seem to put that much egg in the wrap or hand pie. ???
Hugo’s tacos is right next door, their breakfast burrito is 5 times the size of Whole Foods breakfast “wrap”. Hugo’s is round, Whole Foods is flat.
That says it all.
Next, all ur hot breakfast wraps and sandwiches have whole eggs. Why don’t you have egg white vegetable breakfast burritos? For ur healthy and work out customers?
If u had a true big “round” egg white with vegetables breakfast burrito I’m sure you’d sell out daily.
I’d buy one nearly every day before or after the gym.
On a positive note…the people who make ur pizzas are so nice and sweet and wonderful.
A thin gentleman with grey hair ran my ordered pizza around the counter and over to me instead of making me walk to him. With a big smile on his face. A female pizza chef who is always there….is a complete pro and has a wonderful personality, I’ll learn her name….a sweet beautiful woman.“

“Yum Yum Donuts was a vibe. The staff was super friendly and on top of their game — had me laughing the whole time. That pastrami bagel sandwich? Best breakfast I’ve had in a minute. I’m definitely coming back. #1 Yum Yum in the SFV Thanks. 🙏🏻“

“Just wanted to drop a review and say that I’m in LOVE with their chicken wraps. It’s tasty, fulfilling, and most importantly makes out to be a healthy little lunch. I often get some freshly squeezed juice there. But my fav drink will always be their boba tea! I don’t know how do the make the boba pearls, but their the best ones yet out there, and I drink a lot of boba.“

“I always end up going to Yum Yum Donuts some random time in like the middle of the night or sometime before dusk. I am always very satisfied with the employee that has always been working when I do go. He is very nice and he always gets all my orders right. And always wears a smile on his face that will surely make any customers day.

Not quite a dozen, but they were pretty good and fresh.

There is plenty of parking and room to sit, if you really want to eat all 10 donuts...
