“Great place, very consistent with the quality of fish. Please go check out Jesus with his recommendations of substituting certain fishes in certain rolls. This place craps on the Katsu-Ya off topanga. Came here for my birthday and I left like a happy man. Shoutout Jesus!!! Only complaint is the parking in the plaza but what can you do 🤭“

“Absolutely THE BEST RAMEN!!!! I LOVE THE SPICY TONKASU. YUMMY. I have tried so many ramen places and this is the only one that satisfies. The staff is amazing, too. They even remember what every member of my family usually orders. Personalized, kind and attentive service.“

“We’ve been coming to this sushi spot regularly, and it’s safe to say it’s become one of our favorites. It’s a low-key place with a relaxed atmosphere, but don’t let the casual vibe fool you — the food is consistently fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The rolls are creative without being over-the-top, and the classic options are always done right. The fish is high quality, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.
One of the best parts is the pricing. Compared to some of the trendier sushi restaurants in town, this place offers incredible value. You get generous portions and great flavor without the inflated price tag. Whether we’re grabbing a quick dinner during the week or bringing friends on the weekend, it always hits the spot.
The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the ambiance makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The only real downside is the parking — it can be a bit tight or hard to find during busy times. But honestly, the food is good enough that we don’t mind the minor inconvenience.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for quality sushi without the fuss.“

“I got the curry katsu and I've had the katsudon before and they were both delicious!Plus the curry katsu comes with a side of miso, salad and pickled veggies. It's plenty of food and the katsu was bigger than my hand. It's located at the food court area inside of Galleria market so it's an easy spot to go in and get lunch. Parking lot can get full but at 2pm on a weekday, there was plenty of parking.I've ordered from here multiple times and haven't been disappointed. Great spot“

“Hidden gem doesn't even begin to describe To Die For Sushi. Nestled in a humble space in Northridge, this place is so unassuming you might walk right past it--but don't. Because once you walk in and sit at the bar, you'll realize you've discovered one of the best sushi experiences in all of Los Angeles.
Chef Danny is a true artist. We had front-row seats to his craft and were mesmerized watching him turn simple ingredients into edible masterpieces. Every slice, every plate--pure precision and passion.
We shared a bento box with mixed tempura, mixed sushi, and sashimi, and were blown away by the variety and balance. The Heart Attack (fried jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and topped with spicy tuna) was absolute fire--bold, indulgent, and perfectly crispy.
The Toro and salmon were melt-in-your-mouth perfection--fresh, buttery, and honestly some of the best I've had anywhere in L.A.
Our server, Samantha, was fantastic--warm, attentive, and clearly knew the menu well. She made great recommendations and timed everything perfectly.
This place is a sushi lover's dream, without the pretense or the inflated prices of trendy spots. The prices are really affordable and the quality top notch. I have paid a lot more for so much less elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar--watch the magic happen, savor every bite, and thank me later.
