“We have had pupusa many times, so I decided to get the camarones al mojo. I was a little hesitant at first because I have never had any other type of Salvadoran food. I made a great choice. The camarones were so delirious. They were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My mom got the pupusas. Great taste and very flavorful. Best pupusas we ever had. Our see Rosie was vey great and tok her time to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be come back here.“

We also ordered an entree plate that had yuca frita chicharrón fried tamale de elote an empanada and a pastelito.Everything was delicious the drinks are huge.The price is pretty fair. Each pupusa was about 4 and the entree platter was about 17.We had half liter sodas, which I didn’t realize so if you’re not a soda drinker you can totally share. We had the pastelitos de carne which were great, especially with the pickled cabbage heaped on the plate. The fried plantains were INCREDIBLE. So crispy and sweet, served with crema and beans of course. My husband got the pupusa plate (holy crispy cheese edges in the very best way). But my absolute favorite was my dish, pollo con crema. “This is another review of a popup that I tried as a result of them having been at Trademark Brewing a couple months ago (being one of my favorite local breweries, and a great place to pair beer with all manner of types of food, as their food vendor changes daily.) I will note, the pupusas themselves (that is, the exterior corn-dough part) were a little dry compared to my favorite ones (at our local farmers market), but the pork pupusa had a lot of pork in it, and the pork was pretty tasty, pulled pork-style pork, and not too salty (I feel like that's a fairly common problem with meat pupusas). Tons of great, melty cheese, too. Couldn't really taste the loroco in the loroco pupusa though, mostly just tasted like cheese, so if they were back in the future, I'd definitely go for two meat ones. More flavorful curtido than my favorite farmers market vendor, too (and I like their curtido a lot - Vchos' was even better, though.) Also loved that, for only a quarter more pupusa, you can also add jalapenos, which if you like peppers, I would solidly recommend. I also added a side of plantains for $1.50, which was the perfect amount to accompany the pupusas. Great plantains, too. So, overall, I'd say, while they could've been a little less dry, I *would* definitely pay $11 for that meal again ($9 for two pupusas + adding jalapenos to both + plantains) if I saw them at Trademark again.“

“This is my go-to for local/East LA pupusas. The bean and cheese (frijol y queso) are my favorite! The cheese in general is so gooey delicious. They also have other Salvadoran dishes, but I currently stick with the pupusas and will be more adventurous when I bring one of my Salvadoran friends to get their seal of approval for the rest. I usually take my food to go and when I get home, everything stays piping hot. They are generous with the red salsa and curtido. Also, great, friendly staff! Plus, a convenient parking lot. You can get table service or call ahead for your orders. Highly recommend when you're craving a pupusa!“
“One of the best local pupusa places in Lynwood/South Gate area. Their pupusas are huge and full of cheese that pulls out when you break the pupusas. Their curtido is very flavorful. They also serve a delicious Carne Guizada with rice, beans, salad, and had made delicious fat tortillas. One more item that my wife and I like to order and now our son loves too is their sopa de pollo that comes with a lot of vegetables, two pieces of chicken and most impotently, they serve it with little coditos pasta inside. it brings the sopa to another level especially when you are sick or it's just a sopa kind of weather. “My mom is Salvadoran so I'm no stranger to BOMB pupusas, and they were really really good. It's a nice little unassuming spot and felt like a local restaurant that I should have visited way sooner. Don't let the busy Anaheim street deter you from coming here! There were so many pick up orders while we dined and I sat for over 1.5 hours catching up with a friend. The service was great, & our server was so nice and welcoming. I have to mention that their platanos con cream & frijoles were also incredible!! AND the prices are great.
