“I stopped in here craving pizza... I was immediately greeted and made to feel welcome. They have a large menu with pizza, pastas & salads. I got a large chicken barbecue pizza. It was amazing. The fresh & quality ingredients really made the pizza fantastic. This is a busy & popular restaurant so I recommend calling in your order. I noticed a lot of customers doing this while I was there.. “This guy is an Italian genius when it comes to food! The combinations of flavors he comes up with would rival any great Italian chef. I met him while selling at a local farmers market a while ago-during or right after the pandemic. Restaurants were closed and he needed a way to support himself and to carry on his love of cooking and, thankfully, he came up with this business plan. “The best pho in Marin! This restaurant is a treasure. Amazing staff, amazing food, love them! Out of all the places offering pho in the area, this one is the best. They always include utensils and everything you need when you order takeout. They even include culantro which is how you know this place is legit. They are quick and reliable, even when we are lagging behind and ordering 15 minutes before closing. They keep us fed and happy.“

“My niece & I met for a special get together and we both love shrimp. Marina took great care of us and asked the chef to make us a shrimp appetizer which was not on the menu. For anyone that likes shrimp, this should definitely be added to the menu! It had some garlic, butter and cheese with some toasted bread. The rest of the meal was very good, but Marina definitely made it special for us. Our dinner was special indeed.“

“Several times a week I enjoy Peet’s coffee with a friend after our morning walk. When we enter the store Renee is usually at the counter flashing her beautiful, welcoming smile! She is always gracious and upbeat while providing outstanding service! She is a gem.“

“First time here after a hike at the Mt.Tam. Got Lunch buffet. I have tried Lamb curry, veg biryani, dal, and chicken tandoori. All very tasty. I am gluten free and dairy free but there are enough options for the buffet. It would be great if there were some plain white rice. I enjoyed the ambiance and art inside the restaurant too. “Just had a great dinner at Whipper Snapper. The warm spinach salad is so delicious. Like lick the plate delicious. We also had the sliders, which were very tasty. Love the passion fruit mousse for dessert. And the Pilsner on tap is really really good. Will go back again soon. What a wonderful local gem. Let’s support them!“

“Very much a neighborhood restaurant/diner feel. Awesome western omelette with great potatoes and thick wonderful sourdough toast. My wife had sour cream pancakes that she said were among the best pancakes she's ever had. Very friendly efficient and helpful staff. We are from out of state so we will have to wait until the back in the area but we will definitely be coming back.“

“Matt’s restaurant has been consistently excellent for the last 27 years! We’ve been away awhile and returned to his restaurant recently to amazing results. The guacamole and black salsa is wonderful. The jackfruit tacos were over the top! The Jane salad and lemonade were as expected: delicious. Love the new model of ordering upon arrival and seating oneself. Relaxed and casual. Service was SO fast!! Keep up the great work, Matt! Can’t wait to return!

“The staff at this Subway are awesome. I came in at 9:30pm to order 17 six-inch subs for a student field trip, not realizing the store closed at 10pm (online it said it was open until 1am). Adrienne the girl at the counter was soooo nice to agree to make all the sandwiches, which ended up making her clock out late. She saved the day! The field trip with the kids was a hit and they loved their sandwiches.After I left I realized I accidentally left my credit card in the card reader (tired teacher). Alex F the morning guy kept my card safe for pick up after I got off work. You just don't find kind, honest, and hardworking people like Adrienne and Alex that often anymore.I believe the manager's name is Mr. Sunil.If you read this Sunil, you have two superstar employees working for you! I hope they get some recognition and promotions. They were just wonderful.I highly recommend this Subway to anyone who loves great service, kind people, and delicious food.“

But today I tried the California Benedict for the first time and was amazed. Not only does it taste great but the presentation is gorgeous And for $16.50 it’s a pretty good deal.“

“Spent $32 for a cherry scone, bacon breakfast burrito, and a drip coffee. That being said, it was like if my mom was making me breakfast before school but so much tastier. Very delicious, great scone, drinkable coffee, would recommend other than it being expensive. But hey, what isn’t these days.

(Okay the burrito was probably the smallest breakfast burrito I’ve ever purchased, and it was $16, but it tasted good)

Okay I gotta say it again, the scone was fantastic and had the perfect amount of sugar and was perfectly moist and crumbly and delicious. Soooo goood, but sooooo $8 ☹️

Vegetarian options: Good amount of vegetarian as breakfast can be subbed avocado for protein easily but not many other vegetarian options. My friend had a vegetarian breakfast burrito and left satisfied.

“Finally made it here and I was impressed. I ordered a custom turkey-avo-swiss sandwich with lots of extras. First things first, they got my difficult order 100% correct! It was thoughtfully built with ingredients assembled evenly with edge to edge spreading of the condiments. It was wrapped neatly and then cut in half so it didn't fall apart in my hands. The flavors were fresh, meat and veggies all had a good flavor pop.Service was very friendly, our tables were clean prior to us sitting down and the sandwiches were delivered timely to us at our table. Very nice and appreciated these days when it seems like counter service ends with your cc signature.Nice that it's open Sundays too.Why not 5-stars?1) I think a few more signature sandwich menu items would be helpful. I know small menus are a trend but I feel like 6-8 options for hot and cold each would cover a few more bases (ex tuna salad/ tuna melt, some turkey or chicken without bacon, caprese, Reuben, roast beef & brie, etc)2) I think not having a sourdough roll is a miss or simply a roll with a crunch/ crusty exterior (dutch crunch, French roll, focaccia etc). The sweet roll on my sandwich held the sandwich back from it's full potential.“
