“We enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day dinner! Ryan was very kind, attentive, and enjoyable as he waited on my family. The rib eye steaks were perfectly cooked medium rare as we requested and the chef made a minor change to our menu due to our dietary needs without issue. The fresh bread smelled heavenly and was quickly devoured! We will be back!“

“Eclectic restaurant in the old part of Hamilton field. Inside and outside seating. Really good and fresh calamari, where you can actually taste the squid. Fish tacos are excellent, fresh fish perfectly cooked and good value. Shrimp tacos were also good. Fettuccine jambalaya had a well developed sauce with a good mix of proteins. Finished with a Snickers cheesecake and strawberry pavlova, both excellent. Service was good with very friendly staff. Only downside was the smell of the deep fat fryer, probably should have sat outside. Recommended and will return.“

“Very good food and service at reasonable prices. They sell Kivelstadt and other wines to take home at reasonable prices. They are kid friendly. It is better to reserve in advance because the parking was full when we went. When we left at 2 p.m. on a Friday, a guitar player started to play.“

“Great spot. Casual vibe. Server lady was pleasant but a little short. Never did check backs or cleared a single dish even when her food runner had no place to put the main courses down. Just sloppy lazy service by her. Runner was awesome but left to handle everything after she took the order. Veggie Shepherds Pie was great. Hamburger was very good tho a tad small for the huge bun. Wings were tiny drummets with nice flavor and a terrific sauce but small portion was ridiculous for the price. Polenta fingers were ok but needed seasoning in the polenta itself and some melted cheese on top. It was really just oily pesto on top of cold bland grilled polenta cut up. Will try again but tbd how that goes.“

“If you're thinking about a place to have a party, I can't recommend Ounces enough! Waz and his team were so lovely to work with, and they helped plan the perfect afternoon. Lawn games, tasty food, delicious sips, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly service.

Outside of events, it's also just a fantastic place to drink a cold beverage in the sunshine. I've taken a book with me and relaxed on the lovely patio, during the times I wasn't there with friends.

“We came in on a weekday for lunch and the food was delicious. The menu had many options for everyone, including vegan and kids choices. The beer selection was amazing! I was surprised to see some of my favorite breweries that are hard to find on their tap list. Our server was Laillah and she was great! Very attentive and spectacular service. “I always have a great time, great drinks and great food at Stillwater but today I got their pork chops and holy shit was this dish unreal. The 2 thinly sliced and perfectly bone-in grilled pork chops were accompanied by delicious mashed/pureed turnips (I think), broccolini and delicious grilled pears. Expertly done and super seasonal. “Oooooh, that Chinese tofu salad. I've eaten quite a few things from here, but that's my favorite. My husband and I picked up a ton of food from here on our way to Truckee cause we knew the cabin would have limited food around. Everything we ate was awesome! We weren't hungry, nor did we suffer with subpar fast food or junk. Love this place.“
