“Very tasty somewhat deconstructed Caesar salad with wonderful white anchovies! Pork chop to die for. Good cocktails, beautifully cooked scallops. Only wish the sauce on the scallops had been less salty but glad i ordered them. A bit noisy but nice cozy fire to keep us warm. Will return.“
“Awesome place to see a show. It’s a small room so even if you’re in the back it’s all good. Enthusiastic staff and you can tell they enjoy working here. Jackie Greene rules!!! Don’t miss him when he does his 3-night run every winter.“
“Thanks to Christina, our friendly and efficient server, I can write a very positive review for Bungalow 44. A year ago my husband and I visited here and were shocked at the poor service. It marred any enjoyment of the meal. When my sister wanted to go here for her birthday dinner last night , I said yes with my fingers crossed. Our server Christina greeted us upon arrival and throughout the dinner was attentive without being intrusive. She was knowledgeable and made wonderful recommendations. We enjoyed the fig cheese flatbread, pork chop, steak frites and a delicious dessert. Eating under the tent has a wonderful ambiance. We received attention but never felt rushed. Give it a try and I hope you get Christina as your server!“
“Had a really lovely dinner with my Dad here — our server Ashley was very nice, thanks so much for the evening. :) my dad had chicken, I had the vegetable soup that was very good :) we ate outside on the patio that had string lights and heaters. Very nice atmosphere and very cute town.Vegetarian options: Vegetable soup was nice thank you“
“5☆ if I could have customized I wanted the meat cooked 'Medium' even though it's probably illegal, I would have signed the Health Department waiver just to have the meat a little more juicy.Fresh hot crispy fries - All in all, a great meal, nice to eat indoors or out, fun vibe. The wait was a little long (30 min), but I was in no hurry and my boba drink came early.“
“When your clients decide on Liholiho Yacht Club as the place to meet to design their future wedding rings ?Food is communal by nature, as a result, I was amazed by the fruitfulness our meeting yielded — as we departed, our spirits soared with inspiration and excitement for what’s to come ?“
“Amazing experience! We came here after a show that ran overtime, so we were a bit late. Regardless, we were greeted with a huge smile and the cocktail menu. When cleaning up the first course of bites, our server asked if we would like to leave the sauce to eat with the bread we had left. We both found this very thoughtful because usually at these fancy restaurants I’m worried about my food getting cleaned up too quickly and not being able to enjoy everything long enough! At the end of the night we had to run off to get our car out of the parking lot and completely forgot to take our to-go bag with us. We got a missed call and voicemail to let us know, and they were going to hold it for us for another 30mins even though we were the last customers of the night and had already left! The service was amazing and so was the food. I cannot recommend this place enough!Vegetarian options: If you inform your server that you are vegetarian they will point out everything you can eat. From my experience, there was at least one dish in each section to choose from, and I didn’t order that much for myself.“
“This is a restaurant I've been to numerous times and each time the space takes you somewhere special, a culinary journey really. Very upscale restaurant and environment. A perfect experience. The staff were all so awesome, fun group, and very professional as well. The food was incredible. The service is impeccable, presenting each dish to highlights it's freshness and meticulous construction. Highly recommend!“
“We had an amazing experience at Abrazo with our friends! We tried a lot of tapas and all of them were simply delicious. I would particularly recommend the charred octopus, croquetas, albondigas, and gambas. The paella was exceptional, it was one of the best I have ever had in the States. I enjoyed my Rioja a lot. The restaurant had a very lovely vibe and it reminded me of the restaurants in Madrid. The people were kind and the service was excellent. So, I would recommend Abraza to anyone around.“
“Chef Mike is phenomenal and his dishes are a delightful and beautifully presented delicious experience. My spouse and I have dined with Anomaly many times and we love the food more each time! The Anomaly team is amazing, friendly, and exceptionally eager to please as well as help with any reasonable accommodations one might need if communicated with your reservation -- I've got hip and mobility issues and the Anomaly team has always made sure my seat had a little extra padding so that I'd be able to enjoy the full duration of the dining experience without discomfort! 11/10 <3“
“When there’s a portrait of Nina Simone on the wall, that’s all you need to know, the foods gonna be amazing, and it was. Everything was delicious and the Socca was exceptional. What I loved most is that its the kind of place friends come to enjoy each other.“
“I would highly, highly recommend visiting Nopa. The food, service, and atmosphere were all incredible. Super cool space and the daily changing menu had so many amazing options to choose from. I had a duck leg that was so incredibly tender and my husband had a 9-hour bolognese that he raved about. I’d go back in a heartbeat!“
“Fine dining price & portion but slightly underwhelming. Everything was good but not WOW. Service was mehWe enjoyed the bluefin tuna tostada and the sakura toast the most. The strawberry scallops were also great.Overall overpriced for what it is.Atmosphere was nice though.“
“Impeccable service, some of the best I’ve had in the Bay Area (including the 50+ Michelin starred restaurants I’ve visited). Love that the head chef and kitchen staff get involved in the service. Terrific beverage pairing. Admired the Chef’s willingness to get off the beaten path a bit with the 20 or so bites/dishes and not just play the fancy diner’s greatest hits. A few misses the night we were there including the pork (dry), minuet & dungeness crab (too salty) and mackerel (too much vinegar/acid). The Som clearly loves his craft and breathes life into his also unusual pairings. A shoo-in for a Michelin Star, and I suspect with time two stars as the food continues to be explored and tested for excellence. $245 for the menu and $165 for the pairing feels neither like a steal or robbery but on the money. Hats off John Wesley and Team.“
“This is one of my favorites in the Marina. Constantly very high quality food. I almost don’t want to review it because I don’t want it to get too crowded. They are very close to getting a Michelin star! Omg get the pavlova for desert. Their fish is amazing too.“
“Spruce is where good times and great friends come together. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to share a few drinks and light bites with friends. The food is ideal for sharing, the drinks are top-notch, and the staff is friendly and attentive. There's something special about laughing with friends at the bar, enjoying the night, and pretending tomorrow doesn't exist. If you're looking for a place to celebrate and create memories, Spruce is the place to be. Cheers!“
“Recommend making a reservation if you want to sit inside with the plants. They had room for walk-ins on the patio area outside, which I preferred since it was loud inside. Cocktails & food were delicious!!!Vegetarian options: Mushroom risotto was really good & they can do it vegan if you ask!“
“Treating myself to a Friday brunch and couldn’t have picked a better place! I was immediately greeted by a genuinely friendly waitress and there was plenty of seating to pick from. I’m always on the search for a good breakfast sandwich and theirs hit the spot - so good!! I actually really enjoyed the smaller portions because they were so flavorful, didn’t make me feel stuffed, and allowed me to try the doughnut plate too:) Will definitely be back for more!“
“The service was impeccable. Everyone worked together seamlessly.First course, added course and dessert was creative and plentiful. We felt the mains fell short of flavor and creativity.I will return when the menu changes as the prix fixed menu is genius and you can’t beat the price.“
“Myself and 3 coworkers were in town for a work conference and we decided to ensure we try local restaurants. Frascati was absolutely fabulous. The food was extremely delicious the atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant is right on the cable car route and that gave it an extra special touch. The service was fantastic. By far one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. Thank you Rebecca and Jon, if I make my way back to San Francisco I will definitely be back!“
“Absolute perfection. My husband and I will remember this evening for the rest of our lives. The food was divine. Flavors, inspired. Service, attentive, delightful, and not intrusive. Each dish was presented with a brief but detailed description so that we could appreciate the food even more. You’ll want this to be your next dining experience. They take it all to the next level of sublime.“
“This restaurant feels like it exists somewhere in between what could be a local haunt and a tourist trap. It has a versatile yet contained menu that has a little bit of something for everyone. The burrata appetizer was perfectly executed for a place that isn't designated Italian, and the salad offerings really stood out. I had the ahi tuna and for $20 wish I had a couple more pieces of Ahi but the flavors and seasoning were fantastic. I especially loved the little pieces of sushi style ginger mixed within - delicious. It should also be noted that the service was exceptional, toeing the line between attentive and breathable to a T. They even had an extra kale salad made by accident and brought it over complimentary as we waited for the last of our party to arrive. A+“
“I always forget to take pictures of the food here because we did in so quickly. I love the food here, the restaurant is lovely and comfortable, and the staff are very kind. I love their rotating menu and delicious cocktails. I look forward to the next special occasion that we choose to spend at The Morris.“
“Although some of the prices were shocking.. Every dish was delicious. They have some sort of pulled pork hybrid toward alis , hybrid tortellini/ravioli.. a must eat. Also surprisingly the carrots were one of the best dish on the menu. Definitely worth a bite.“
“Really glad I stumbled upon Octavia's existence. The service was great, with obvious knowledge and experience. The food (10 items shared amongst 4 of us) was all excellent. As far as food goes, I do often have constructive feedback in the hopes of improving the experience, but here they just nailed everything. Pacing, quantity, seasoning, diversity, with flavors and ideas that simply worked well. Fantastic meal, and I'd gladly come back next time in SF.P.s. sitting outdoors was pleasant, and probably less smoky and noisy than indoors: easy to have a conversation, and the enclosure kept us warm. Wish the passing rush hour drivers were less aggressive as a whole, but this is straying from the topic at hand...“
“It is challenging for me to describe how much passion and effort they put into the quality of their food. When I first arrived outside the restaurant, everyone patiently waited for the door to open on the dot. When the door opens, we are warmly greeted inside and check in promptly. There was a space on the right side to hang our coats and store our umbrellas since the rain was torrential. When I first sat down, I noticed how vast and spacious the restaurant was, with a beautiful large countertop leading to an open kitchen. The first course came, and despite how assuming it looked, that single bite packed such a large amount of flavor that I knew it was going to be a lovely evening. The subsequent dishes that followed were also not what it seemed, but the flavor did not clash for me. I had plenty of sake pairing during the meal that you never thought would work with that dish, but the pairing was pretty on point. I had lots of new sake I had never drunk before, and I had taken plenty of photos of each bottle so I could find it later when I wanted to.The owners are amiable when conversing with everyone and answering questions on the dish in particular or if they have any recommendations on another restaurant they like. It is not an experience I can elaborate on in detail, but rather, you have to experience it to know how different it is from all the restaurants I have experienced in the Bay Area. I will return to try their dishes when they rotate them again for the spring time.“
“Attention vegans: I called ahead of time and they were happy to prepare a fully vegan tasting menu! (It was essentially the vegetarian one with modifications.)The service was immaculate, the culinary journey was exquisite, and never once did the staff or experience disappoint. The courses were described, brought out in perfect timing, and presented and plated incredibly.I did not once think I was getting a subpar experience because I got a vegan tasting menu. Everything was crafted with care and obvious passion. You absolutely get what you pay for—and price you pay may be a barrier to entry for some. All in all, this is the perfect anniversary or special occasion spot to take your loved one or special friends.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian tasting menu. Call or email to ensure you are able to request a vegan tasting menu.“
“The weather at 10 o'clock in the morning in San Francisco in April was quite pleasant, with the temperature below 20 degrees Celsius. It felt great to sit outside the restaurant to dine (but it's best not to sit for too long, because there is no awning outside the restaurant, so for a while After a while, the sun will still hurt you).I ordered Russian Hill and chose bacon and cheddar cheese. The chef cooked it into a pie. There were also potato (maybe grilled or fried) and fruit combinations. It was quite delicious and rich. The prices on the meals have been increased, and it is recommended that the store should update them. The overall service quality is good, and the two male waiters are very diligent in greeting customers' needs.“
“I had one of the best restaurant meals ever in San Francisco last night at Sorrel. The pictured dish is described as maitake / potato / dashi, the first course of seven and my favourite. The wine pairing was very good, and the service outstanding. Great celiac accommodation for me. Instead of the pasta based crab dish I got a stunningly excellent sun-choke risotto. Highly recommended for a special occasion.Dietary restrictions: I had excellent accommodation for my celiac affliction. Instead of the pasta based crab dish I got a stunningly excellent sun-choke risotto.“
“Second time since 2021. While price has increased it still offers one of the best value in the area for tasting menu. Most of the courses are on point and creative. my favorite is the jidoji egg. The tortellini is a bit bland, but still good. I like that the atmosphere is intimate and unassuming.“
“I came here last night for date night dinner and it was so good. My husband has been on this fish and chips thing lately and this is favorite by far.*The fish was tender and the outside was crisp and light. French fries were nice and hot.The tartar sauce and was also light and not too heavy on the mayo.* clam chowder the bowl size is perfect for sharing. Nice clumps of potatoes and seafood*lobster roll the bread had a nice sweetness and butter. Crispy and light. The lobster was fresh and sweet. Good portion as well when it came to the lobster. The seating is comfortable for small groups and the wait staff is very friendly.I can’t wait to have another date night!“
“The food tastes amazing and the delivery driver was punctual although having said that, wax paper would keep the cheese from ripping up patches of cardboard after it slightly cools in transit and the butter for the pancakes was off to the corner mostly absorbed into the container and started to revert back to a solid.it would have been more efficient to package it in a sauce cup.the whole bottom layer of eggs ended up being inedible and the 7.50 delivery charge made the drivers tip uneconomical on a $20 dollar order.“
“What a location. And although on my own I received a table and wasn't tried to be parked at the bar. Really professional service. Fresh cutlery for each course, complimentary small cup of consommé, homemade Yorkshire Pudding (?). The Artichokes were divine. Shrimp and lobster Risotto good, presentation a bit boring (the"boring" bit just because I've expected more after having seen the Artichoke plate) Ristretto was hot.And yes, if you think someone is wearing a Chanel Jacket it probably is one. But no snobbism from anyone and was ok in my makeup free, tired self. Next time I feel like a treat I'll go back“
“Lovely early evening dinner! Super family friendly, food was delicious and great value. There was an issue with our UK bank card but Cameron was incredibly gracious and helped us find an amazing resolution. They also have a great family evening coming up on a Thursday which sounds perfect!! Can’t wait to go back!!!!“
“The dinner prix fixe was stellar. Each dish was special and interesting, and balanced. The care that the staff gave us was personal and thoughtful, and they tailored to our dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Extremely accommodating to dietary restrictions. Just share with your server!“
“We made a reservation for breakfast for our group. It was a special occasion, as we had guests who traveled internationally & we were also celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious! The staff was outstanding- we'd like to shout out Daniela and Carla for going above & beyond in their service. I'll definitely be back.“
“I had the luck of being able to get a last second reservation there recently and was completely blown away by the experience. The food alone had me wanting to replicate the dishes and techniques at home, even the glazed carrot dish was an artform. The staff were amazing in attentiveness and even the vibe made me forget I was in the middle of a major city.“
“My girlfriends and I dined at Ditas Marin and were thoroughly impressed by the stunning view and exceptional cuisine. The attentive staff warmly welcomed us and guided us through the impressive menu, offering a variety of tantalizing dishes to suit every taste. From the perfectly presented appetizers to the impeccable service throughout the evening, our dining experience was nothing short of delightful. The meal commenced with a selection of appetizers that were culinary masterpieces in their own right, showcasing fresh ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. Each dish left us eager for more, setting the stage for a memorable culinary journey. Throughout the evening, the attentive service ensured our glasses were never empty and our needs met with grace, allowing us to savor each moment without interruption. As we indulged in the sweet finale of delectable desserts, we reflected on the wonderful evening we had shared. Ditas Marin truly exceeded our expectations with its breathtaking view, delicious cuisine, and impeccable service. Without a doubt, it has earned its reputation as a culinary gem, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit to create more unforgettable memories.“
“A hidden gem for wine and dine in the downtown SF! Having previously enjoyed their sister wine bar of Bodega in North Beach, I was so excited to experience what the same owners had in store for us at Key Klub! The ambiance is dark and moody in the evening which makes it a perfect spot for a girls' get-together or a romantic date night. An ideal spot for conversations over a glass of wine. They have a great selection on natural wines which you can buy by the bottle or glass. Now, lets talk about the real star of the show - the food! my friends and I were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the plates are here. The mushroom fries were perfectly crispy despite the fact that they are drenched in a delicious mushroom cream sauce. The duck liver mousse french toast was a decadent and rich and the smash burger was perfectly cooked. Key Klub has definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to places in the cities and the mushroom fries alone are reason enough to have me coming back.“
“It’s a great bar for your first date; but no one returns to it ; and therefore it’s not a neighborhood bar; but It’s exterior architecture - a transportation hub / station converted to a bar - is startlingly good; but the interior doesn’t create a sense of belonging.Stools are designed to traumatize your posterior; perhaps a short date is best ; the beer and snacks and the service are great but without the neighborly feeling , it’s just another brick in the wall;“
“Been here twice now and both have been such great experiences. Welcoming and helpful staff. Took their time to recommend a bottle of wine. Food is delicious! We love their pasta especially the oxtail ragu, lamb shank just fell off the bone. Be sure to ask for the complimentary focaccia! Cute courtyard and beautiful setting inside too. Highly recommend!“
“We had dinner here last night for the first time. It began with the starters. The Gilda was delicious with white anchovy and olive. Then the smoked mussels and tartare. We have had good tartare before, never with hazelnuts. This was a nice twist with a delicate crunch. Main course, the table had the pork chop, halibut and hen. All were done very well. The beer list was great! They had beers from France, Quebec and a local variety. Finished the night with some very airy and fluffy beignets. They were amazing. I need to finish will how professional and great the staff was. Top notch! Excited to visit this place again to experience another wonderful meal.“
“Lovely meal last night! Dishes were creative, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Wine list and guidance were terrific complements. Ambience was relaxing. Service was wonderfully personable and prompt. The only (good) problem - the diverse menu presented too many alluring choices for one dinner, so we will be back for sure. Thank you for a terrific dinner!“
“Barrel Horse Tavern offers a unique dining experience perched on the waterside of Sausalito, providing breathtaking views of the city skyline. This upscale brewery effortlessly blends the charm of a waterfront tavern with the sophistication of fine dining. The menu boasts an impressive variety of dishes, catering to every taste and preference. The clam chowder at Barrel Horse Tavern is a standout, offering a delightful combination of lightness and creaminess that tantalizes the taste buds. Meanwhile, the Tavern burger, a beloved staple on the menu, showcases the culinary expertise of the chefs with its mouthwatering flavors and hearty portion. For those mindful of their diet and physique, the half chicken with spinach is a phenomenal option, offering a protein-packed and satisfying meal without compromising on taste. Whether you're indulging in the classic comforts of clam chowder and Tavern burgers or opting for healthier fare like the half chicken with spinach, Barrel Horse Tavern ensures a dining experience that leaves a lasting impression.“
“Good spot for some fine food in Soma close to BART. Menu had lost so delicious choices. Steak and fries were expectational. Deviled egg was a surprise hit, I got a few. A bit pricey. Worth it if you want to eat at a nice spot in the area considering options are dying out in this part of the city. Will visit again.“
“Cute little Hayes Valley wine shop, with excellent accompanying bites (charcuterie, cheese, dips). Quaint backyard oasis patio — perfect for catching up with friends or a first date.Highly recommended for those seeking a low-key and unique side to San Francisco.“
“Had the uni pasta, made with squid ink pasta. This dish was better than I expected. The density of the noodles was what I expected for squid ink noodles and the uni sauce was a great addition. I wish it had a bit stronger of an uni taste, but this dish was still delightful.“
“This is the first place we ate on our trip, and it set the bar HIGH we absolutely loved it. They had some awesome gf options!I started with the house made lemonade and was absolutely in love. The perfect lemonade, I wish it had been free refills because I would’ve drank 7 cups at least. Then we had the tarp chips with siracha aioli and was pleasantly surprised how well the earthy chips with the tangy sauce went together. Yum!I had the steak frites with truffle fries and it was phenomenal! My husband had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and said it was one of the best he’d ever had! (And he has tried lots of chicken sandwiches!)10/10 would eat here again the staff was so friendly and accommodating and made us feel right at home. Dietary restrictions: They had awesome attitudes and were very knowledgeable and willing to make alterations to dishesKid-friendliness: While kids could definitely eat here, the vibe is much more geared towards adults.“
“Not sure which was better—the food or the service. We loved everything on tasting menu and incredibly generous wine pairings. The surprise winner to me was the squash soup, which is a dish I would’ve sworn I hated before dining here.Everything was delicious—crab cake, ravioli, duck, the fish… Just perfect. The chef/owner is the kindest, most down-to-earth man. He was incredibly patient while explaining the wines to us, and he happily struck up conversation with us about the little treasures in the neighborhood. We can’t wait to return and try the menu during every season!“
“Wish there was a 4.5 Star! Cuz it wasn't quite 5, but more than 4. Food was beautiful and well presented, atmosphere was classy..And service... I think was changing shifts so we got dropped a bit and waited around for quite a while to order.“
