“Paulina's is fantastic! First time there was tonight,12/27/23. While driving back from making our donations to the Las Vegas Casinos we were starving for some good Mexican food.I googled who has the best Mexican food in Victorville, CA, since it was almost the half way point back to Los Angeles. Paulina's was the top TripAdvisor recommendation for 2023, so we stopped.I had the fish tacos, my husband had the shrimp enchiladas. The food was amazing! Jose, our waiter, was so nice and friendly to us, as if he had known us for years.The restaurant has a formal date night vibe with red table cloths, brown leather booths, and a beautiful giant chandelier in the center of the restaurant. “Great food. Friendly staff. Very clean restaurant with decent seating. They offer self serve salsas that are really tasty. Portions are pretty good. I bought the 1lb Asada burrito. It was very good and filling. It includes potatoes in it, which I was not expecting. I also bought an Pastor taco that was really early good. Prices are very reasonable. The aguas frescas are very refreshing. Parking is right in front and decent. A few homeless people roaming around so stay guard. Over all in general, it's a nice place for dinner. Freeway is really close.“

“Literally, some of the best birria. Not just in the high desert either. Its good all around. Handmade tortillas. They sell out, so don't go too late. We took a cazuela once & they filled it up for a party. It's so good. We ordered Birria Tacos de Res, and a Consome de chivo. Everyone was ordering the plebes, they look bomb too. Resonably priced. 10/10 recommend.“

“This place is always good. The Carne asada is fire, their Cali burrito is top tier especially with the green sauce. The posole is comforting and tastes like it was made with love!! 10/10. I've dropped most mex places for THIS spot. And they have things for picky kids too. Like quesadillas, taquitos, or even chicken nuggies and fries. “This place is a hidden gem, fairly new to the desert. But it's truly a one stop Shop. You can do your grocery shopping, fresh meat counter ( best carne asada in town). They sell produce, cold drinks, snacks, tortillas, ready to use masa, salsa, but the biggest flex this place has is the restaurant. It's not fancy. A few tables, a huge menu. And the food is the best in the desert. They don't microwave your food. They don't just heat up frozen food.....if you order a cheese burger. They go and ground fresh meat for the patties. If you get an asada burrito. They go grab fresh asada from the meat department and grill it fresh. Everything is made to order from the products they sell. The employees always have a smile, and they go above and beyond to cater to each customer. I would give 10 stars if it was an option.They have my repeat business, check them out and I'm sure it will be your new go to spot.“

Ask for cheese as I will next time I go. Only down side I can say was the amount of meat I got in my burrito it was more rice than anything after the 1st bite but good. “Recently started coming here after being regulars at other diners around the area. This place has delicious food and good portions. I called over the phone to place and order within 10 mins it was ready. I was greeted right away once I walked in. Looks to be family owned, very friendly. “this place is pretty nice. the food is amazing, and the service is good. i wouldn't recommend eating inside the restaurant as it's a little bit cramped and it can get kind of loud, but they do offer takeout which is nice.never been disrespected or anything like that by the people working in the restaurant, and (almost) every time, they've brought food out on perfect time, and they've never got an order wrong.inside could be kept a *tiny* bit cleaner, it's not that bad though.4/5.Parking: parking is always open and the traffic flow from main street is easy enough to navigate if needed. there's also a dirt lot which leads into the "back roads" which is great. it's as clean as a parking lot needs to be.“
