I went in there looking for a healing tea because my daughter had suffered a miscarriage.. immediately he expressed his condolences and explained with such detail why the tea he was giving me was for her and I explained other situations and all I can say is, I bought everything he recommended. It was my first time there and we have been drinking it properly and it has made all the difference in the world for our health & has brought us together. “Afternoon tea. Interesting experience. Recommend reservations. We went here recently (brother recommended this place). The place was quaint. We selected the tea for one. Each of us chose 2 sandwich flavors and a pot of tea. I got the flowering tea, it has a mild flowery taste and is visually pleasing. Sandwiches were an interesting experience. The coconut jam was surprisingly good. I personally got the meatfloss and the turkey with Brie and fig jam. The turkey was somewhat sweet. The scone was good too, along with the savory canapé. Dessert was good. I’ll have to come back again with my spouse and friends next time.“

I’ve always loved to have Monk’s Blend as a nostalgic choice in the morning, but their puers and oolongs are also quite nice. “Stopped by Ten Ren’s Tea in San Francisco Chinatown today during a power outage — while many shops were completely dark, Ten Ren’s was still open and brightly lit. That alone already impressed me.

As always, their boba milk tea did not disappoint. This is not a dessert-style drink — the tea flavor is rich, fragrant, and very well-balanced. The boba was perfectly chewy, not mushy, and the sweetness and ice level were just right.

• Hot oolong milk tea with boba (my choice — highly recommended)

“I feel that Heytea's quality is really consistent, even though its price are a bit higher than other boba shops.

This time I tried their Coconut Matcha Bbo, which has cloud, macha, coconut milk and boba. It tasted great, the flavor was on point. I ordered on their app, which makes it easy to customize your drink. Highly recommended!“

“Finally got to try this spot and can say that the matcha quality is very good! The hojicha as well was toasty and nutty (aside from the sesame that blended with it so well). The service was also very pleasant and helpful. Definitely will stop by to try other matcha and hojicha types.“

“It's really nice in there. You occasionally get a loud & noisy large group of students in there but it's right next to the UC Berkeley campus so that's their majority of the patrons. Parking is difficult in the area, it's located at the corner of two one-way intersections.“

“One of my favorite was spots in financial district! Delicious matcha and sweet boba! Avoid going right after work ends. Long lines during rush hour.“

“There’s always a healthy line outside of Nagomi in the late afternoons, about a 15 minute wait from stepping in to getting a drink. I ordered what they tote on their website as the “creamiest, most authentic matcha latte in California”.

With the “50% sweet” option, the nutty flavor of the matcha comes through very well. The drink isn’t chalky but it also definitely isn’t the “creamiest” either. But kudos to the choice/design of the cups! The cups have little space for the aroma of the matcha to come through while drinking.

It’s a very beautifully furnished store, but the clientele reflect more of a tourist destination as opposed to a local go-to. While I’d invite someone who’s never been here for a taste and some photos, the wait and lack of space to chat wouldn’t make this the usual.“

“We're so lucky to have so many great boba cafes here in San Francisco. And Black Sugar is one of them.

It's a small spot at the edge of the Tenderloin near Union Square. They have a few caffeine-free choices and I got their mango sago, which is a mango puree with grapefruit bits and coconut milk. Since it already had sago, I didn't add boba, which is good btw. Its has that qq bounce and is softly sweetened with brown sugar.

The mango was so refreshing! The coconut added a creamy texture and the grapefruit bits added a pop of tartness. The sago added another layer of texture that was both soft and chewy. I usually like to take my time with boba drinks, but this one was so good that I drank it pretty fast.

I usually order mine online for pick up. But service is pretty quick after ordering. Though I can imagine it's busier on weekends.

I've had several of their drinks, including their popular black sugar fresh milk, and they are all good. Definitely take a detour when you're in Union Square when the boba craving hits.“

“I've been going here for a number of years. Even before the pandemic. The food has been consistently good, with the exception of the height of the pandemic.

On other platforms, this place isn't rated high however this place for dim sum is always packed. This says wonders about the other sites.

Today's visit for dim sum was just like the other times. Place was packed and there was a wait of 20 mins. The service was okay and the food was good. Parking wasn't an issue as there were plenty.

This is a go-to spot for dim sum for sure.“
