“The food was great, but the hostess was not very accommodating when a larger than expected group arrived. In thier defense, it was a Friday evening and the restaurant was quite busy. However, we asked if we could move to an obviously open table, and was turned down, only for a small group to arrive through the rear gate and take the table anyway (3 people sitting at a table for 8, with our group of 8 sitting at a table for 4). Still, the families had a good time and the evening was wonderdul.“

“I have been coming to Diggers for years, both Brentwood and Concord. I'm a sucker for an old school bacon cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. They have all kinds of shakes, burgers, and fries. Their breakfasts are pretty solid too. My wife and I came here a lot while dating, and now we bring our kids. Great place, I don't think they have a bad thing on their entire menu.“

You can really tell the vegetables are high quality and fresh, which made every dish stand out. The experience honestly reminded us of dining in Las Vegas with that elevated, fine-dining feel. I ordered the Al Fresca mocktail and it was incredibly refreshing. For my entrée, I had the hanger steak cooked medium, and it was perfectly prepared—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. “I just went to pick up lunch and was greeted by the owner (I think) and a very nice lady working the front. The first thing out of my mouth was “Wow!!! It looks awesome in here!!!” They sure stepped up their game and created a cool place to hang out. They did not skimp on the vibe one bit. The food was just as good! I got a Philly cheesesteak (steak was so tender) and my boss got a mushroom burger. We both were saying how tasty our lunches were and so happy we have a place by work that we will want to go and have good food! You have a A+ rating from the NDDI crew! “I had no idea what to expect. We wanted a place to go for an early lunch and this place showed up on Google maps. This place is just friggin awesome. The staff here were great. The food was way better than I thought it'd be. The Kobe Angus beef burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked to my preferred temp. The Bloody Marys were spicy and just full of flavor. I mean wow guys, just wow. I don't know how often we're going to make it to that side of town, but we're returning for sure.“

“I visited Eight Acres for dinner and brunch and loved both experiences. The atmosphere is beautiful with an open, airy dining room upstairs, a speak easy vibe downstairs and views of the surrounding hills. The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home. Our favorite dish so far is the Blueberry French Toast at brunch. It has a light crust around the side that reminds me of a creme brulee crust. Highly recommend!“

“I just want to say thank you to the best worker, Jennifer. She really went out of her way at 4:30 AM to call another location where I placed my order just to remove a certain item for me. That meant a lot and honestly made my day.

Because of her kindness and effort, my family was able to enjoy the food the way we needed (no pork), and that really shows how much she cares about her customers. It’s rare to see someone go that extra mile so early in the morning with such a good attitude.

I was blown away when I found out it was just Denny's but a different menu that you can't order while at Denny's. I ordered the exact same burgers from Denny's and burger den. There was no comparison . That said, you can order from the burger den and pick it up from your local Denny's. Burger den burgers are awesome!!!“
