“Amazing food and service. They really care about both the experience and their customers. Definitely a place to come with an open mind and a serious palate for food as this is some of the most complex foods I’ve tried in a while. Loved it.“

“This place is awesome!! Food is fantastic, service is fantastic, and atmosphere is fantastic. Total 5 stars in my book ok. My new favorite place to eat and hang. Only a 3/4 minute walk from the pier. A perfect date night place. Sunset, walk and great food!“

“We’ve been to Pacific Coast Spirits and Kitchen a few times now. I think their happy hour is quite strong with the Pork Belly bites at a 10$ price point. The Mac and cheese is delightfully creamy and has a good mix of textures. The Brussels are crispy and well seasoned.
We tried brunch today and it seemed like they were a bit understaffed. I had the breakfast plate which had pork belly, two fried eggs, fried potatoes, and four pieces of sourdough. They didn’t have any real jelly (only a Serrano jelly from another dish) which was a bit disappointing with so much bread on my plate. It was a bit underwhelming as a dish. The 5$ Micheladas were good though.
My husband had the chicken and biscuit - the chicken was well seasoned, the batter was crispy. The biscuit was a bit dry and a little undercooked in the middle.
Our friend had the chilequilles - the texture was good, the carnitas were a necessary addition, and the sauce was a bit spicy / creamy. Overall about a 7/10.
Our first experience here was fabulous so we will give it another shot, but brunch was a bit mediocre for the expectation that I had from our first visit.
Dietary restrictions: It seems like you could sub a few things for vegetarians, but probably not great for gluten free people.
Parking: The lot is small but free next to the restaurant. There is also plenty of street parking.
Kid-friendliness: It would be okay to bring older kids here, but might not be great if it was busy.
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to be wheel chair accessible and handicap parking outside in the free lot.“

“Dear Beer Town Oceanside, I'm writing to express my sincere appreciation for the fantastic experiences I've had at your establishment. From the moment I walk in, I'm always greeted by your friendly and attentive staff who make me feel right at home. As someone who works remotely, I truly value your reliable and fast Wi-Fi connection. It allows me to get work done while enjoying your amazing atmosphere. Speaking of atmosphere, the live music you feature is always Great! It adds such a fun and lively vibe to the place. And of course, I have to mention the food. Your menu is outstanding, and every dish I've tried has been top notch. Thank you for providing such a wonderful space to relax, and enjoy great food and music. I look forward to many more visits! Sincerely, AnthonyRayShane.com“

“We were in Oceanside for a week and visited Finney's 3 times. Loved the fun vibe downstairs and upstairs. It's rare to find good, friendly service these days, but you will find it here! The food was incredible and decently priced. Even better if you can make Happy Hour. I can't list all the favorites because our group tried so many apps, salads, pizzas and sandwiches over the 3 days and everyone was very happy. A couple personal tips - get a side of the nashville hot sauce for Peggy's crispy chicken sandwich if you like spicy. A5 Wagyu Burger - try the steak sauce on the side. We tried it with it on and off. Half of us preferred it without the steak sauce as we felt we could taste the delicious meat flavor more without it...but that's our personal opinions. Highly recommended, you will be happy you gave Finney's a try!“
“Overall I have nothing but great things to say about planning a special event with The Vault and staff! In February I made contact with Gabe H. and Katie L. about a possible surprise special event in June. Gabe was nice to enough to give me a tour of the venue and Katie and Chef were wonderful in helping me plan the rest of the details as far as food, drinks, and any vendor information I may need.
The food was impeccable! Shrimp ceviche, brussel sprouts, beef skewers, salmon, and short rib...everything was DELICIOUS and everyone loved it. Drinks were great! Beautiful blonde behind the bar (I believe is also Katie) made the best drinks! Old fashions and margaritas were tasty!
Thank you to Katie, Chef, and the rest of the staff that helped me create the best event to celebrate a person I love!“
“REVISED TO SAY: The restaurant is under new management and I have nothing but praises to sing.I booked Iron Mike's for a group of general officers and a very senior enlisted Marine yesterday and the whole experience was amazing in a number of ways:-Nobody was answering the phone at the event center, so I was there in person early, before opening. Nobody was able to help me until I magically bumped into the restaurant owner/manager Renee. He immediately dropped what he was doing, took me to the restaurant, showed me where he could set up a table and asked me if I wanted waist height or high top tables. He also introduced me to the chef.-While I was waiting for my group to show up later that day he checked with me to see how they would want the tab, and a few other very insightful questions.-When the group showed up he greeted them in person and made their entry very smooth. All in all it was fantastic service. When I spoke to my group of stars later everyone said they enjoyed lunch thoroughly, liked that it was quiet and they could talk, the food was really good and it was an easy experience for them overall.Thank you to those at Iron Mikes who made that part of their day so seamless and enjoyable!“

“My favorite employee left. She was like my second mom.Breakfast is where it's at. Lunch is so-so. Best food you can get for the price. Staff is 99% awesome except for the one person who is grumpy to everyone and will undercook your eggs if you really tick her off. Regular omelette lady is 10/10.One of the best chow halls I've eaten at in 18 years of service. (DFACs don't count).“

“Always amazing service and great food. I love that there's never been a wait to be seated when I've gone. Also everyone always remembers us even if it's been quite a while, we had only been there a couple times! We generally sit at the bar and have great conversations with the server.
Parking: I can usually get front-row parking but if not still very close“

“I love this Chow HallIt qualifies as a small area Chow HallThe food is good, and if you be there early you get better food. If you go at almost closing time, you get more food. The food is good so sometimes you will see higher up dining in. I meet Battalion Commander couple times and sometimes SNCOs.“

“Service was fantastic. Rachelle was an amazing waitress, attentive and knowledgeable, as well as knowing the right questions to ask/clarify and answer.
I ordered water and a sugar free red Bull with vodka, chips and guac to start. The guac was fresh and delicious. The chips were the perfect amount of crispy and salty.
For the main course I ordered the two tacos, carne asada per Rachelle's recommendation.
I greatly approve, the carne asada was favored to perfection as well as cooked to perfection, including the hint of the lime squeezed over it was fantastic. Then to add in the Diablo sauce sent it way over the edge into greatness. If you like spicy this is definitely the route, it isn't overbearing on the spicy level so it is great for additional flavor with a slight spice sting but quickly subsides.
Also another great feature of the restaurant is dog friendly, however, as anywhere else I hope your dog is trained and not reactive. Customers are very friendly and love when there are dog(s) nearby.
I will definitely be back for more.“

“This restaurant fills up quickly. But if you get there right and open, you don’t even need reservations. The staff is very laid-back but the food is super sophisticated. Be sure to order one of their desserts. It was my favorite part of the visit.“
