“Excellent service by Elizabeth, she is so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and it was obviously made with high quality ingredients. For example, the egg yolks had a deep orange color, and the crab in crab salad tasted very fresh. Solid choice for a meal any time of day.“

“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“Pastries ok but skip breakfast omelets. No flavor, potatoes cold and after spending over $35 for bfast for 2 they still charge $1 for hot water. Lost my breakfast business.“

“Crepes De Paris is a little slice of Paris right here at home! The crepes are light, perfectly cooked, and filled with generous portions of fresh ingredients. I tried both a savory ham & cheese crepe and a sweet Nutella & strawberry crepe—both were incredible. The coffee was rich and smooth, pairing perfectly with the meal. The ambiance is cozy and charming, and the staff was warm and attentive. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic French flavors!“

“I just discovered the most incredible hidden gem and I have to share it—because it might just be my new favorite restaurant in the world! 🌟 This place is a dedicated gluten free restaurant (yes, you read that right!) and every single dish blew me away. I honestly still can’t believe how amazing the food was. The croissant was so buttery, flaky, and perfect I had to double check that it was really gluten free—it’s a dream come true. 🥐 The popovers with house-made jam and honey butter were out-of-this-world delicious, the Brisket Benedict was rich and comforting with perfectly poached eggs, and the Steak Frites rivaled any French bistro. Every bite was pure heaven. But what really makes this place so special are the wonderful owners, Laura and Michael. Their passion, warmth, and dedication show in everything they do. Laura is a true genius—she spent 7 years perfecting her very own gluten free flour blend and dough, and you can even buy it to take home for fresh bread, pizza, or cinnamon rolls. It rises and bakes like traditional dough, and the flavor is unbelievable. 🍞✨ The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the service was wonderful, and the food… I’ll be dreaming about it until I can go back. We went for brunch, but I can’t wait to try dinner next. If you’re gluten free, this is your paradise. If you’re not gluten free, I challenge you to come here and tell me you can tell the difference. You can’t. That’s how good it is. 🙌 Run, don’t walk—this is one of those rare places that feels like magic. ✨“

“Came here to get a crepe this morning and was really blown away by their excellent service.
I ordered a Monaco crepe minus the blue cheese (they were out of blue cheese so I wanted to swap with Brie). Soon after I ordered, I was informed they were also out of Brie. This was absolutely not an issue for me at all. Ideally they’d have them in stock but I understand stuff happens. I ended up with adding extra mozzarella.
When my crepe arrived they offered me a complimentary macaron/drink for the inconvenience. While I declined bc I already had a drink/sweets for the day, I really appreciate the kind gesture. I appreciate how the staff kept me informed despite how difficult it is to be a food service worker and deliver “bad” news to customers. I don’t believe it’s worth getting upset at people trying to do their jobs.
At the end of the day, I did genuinely enjoy my crepe no Brie, no blue cheese. And it’s because the crepe itself was really freshly made with simple ingredients. It was a nice large portion as well. I hope to go back to try a sweet crepe next time! And I’m glad they’re across the street from me basically.
There’s no formal seating per se but there’s tables and chairs nearby. It’s inside rodeo39.“

“The cakes and tarts are great, but unfortunately they don't have an oven and don't heat up their croissants! Which is a bummer because cold and stale aren't the best. But other pastries like mille feuille and lemon tart were incredible. Best mille feuille I've had in OC! There's no place to sit inside the cafe, but you can take your food and pastries to the general complex with portola etc, and there's lots of open seating spaces there“

The bossa nova music adds a smooth touch to the atmosphere, and the food? Authentic, flavorful, and seriously tasty. “Quiet place on your way to the bridge that connects the two malls. First off the floors, display windows, counters are clean. It's a French place with freshly baked pastries, cakes, chocolate loafs, baguettes, sandwiches, salads, coffee, champagne and imported goods from France. I recently discovered this place. Their salads are so big and very fresh. They offer a few selections...a beet salad, chicken pesto Ceasar and a House salad. Their sandwiches are also made that day and once they are gone they are gone. The girls are super friendly with that French flair and ready to box up a whole lot of goodness for you. So much selection for a petite place. Skip that Yu Cake that isn't even fresh but bussed in from God knows where and try this place. It's so affordable and a step up from homemade. They offer umbrella seating outside and because it overseas the garden and water ponds... it's really charming.“
