“Was in the area and did a search for ice cream. This place popped up and I decided to check it out. The vibe from the staff is great. The flavors are nice and different, the finish of the ice cream is fresh. No lingering fattiness or artificial viscosity.

Will definitely come back if I'm in the area and want ice cream. Store is clean and bright, plenty of natural light and simple decor. The production area is clearly visible so you can see they're proud of what they're doing. I recommend this place.“

“My first time here. It was a last minute decision and I'm glad I came. My burger was so good. It was prepared well and tasted great. It wasn't done too fast, but it didn't take long either. “My Wife, My Friend, & I, go out on a nightly quest looking for new spots to eat, hang-out, or lick down 😋 some delicious 🍦 ice cream or gelato 🍨... Finding this curbside creamery was a turn around, reverse and flip journey at first but once we found this treasury of a spot we were sold. Not only was the service amazing fun and energetic but come to find out every Thursday they create a NEW SOFT-SERVE Ice Cream 🍦 we got to enjoy the coffee flavor... Hands down the BEST EVER. We will be going next week to see what SoftServe Curbside has in store for us.!!

“Vegan (& Gluten-free) flavors! I loved the pluot, the dark chocolate, and the walnut (that has no pieces of nuts in it, which is really helpful to those like me who can’t have much fiber). Additionally, I found all three flavors more refreshing than (sickeningly) heavy, and the flavors 🤩 🎇—like the grand finale of a fireworks show for the taste buds. I’ve only had about a spoonful of each so far but am in love 😍🤤😋. I didn’t go to the shop, someone brought me some, so I’m not able to give my opinion on the actual shop. From what I heard, though, it wasn’t as crazy as many ice cream places are on hot weekends! 😊“

“My new favorite ice cream place in Walnut Creek! I've been here 5 times now, and have loved all the flavors I've tried - and there are so many to choose from! I've brought friends here who have also become big fans. Very fair prices, free samples, and high quality ice cream with fresh ingredients. Service has usually been good and efficient.

Looks like an excellent first job and the kids seem to not only enjoy working there but are very friendly and helpful. I love that it is conveniently located next to primos. “This is my favorite boba spot in oakland. I usually get the grass jelly milk tea with boba and oatmilk and it is suuper refreshing! Just the right amount of sweetness. Their boba AND grass jelly is my favorite out of many places in the Bay Area, being chewy & soft. I’m not really sure how to describe the consistency lol but the flavor of both is great! Sweet but not TOO sweet.

“My experience at Passione Caffè in their gorgeous two-story, well-decorated café at 91 Shattuck Square was simply marvelous. The staff was friendly, quick, and accommodating and the food, drinks, and desserts were delicious! I highly recommend Passione Caffè to those looking for a quick and yummy lunch (or breakfast/brunch everyday), to snack and study, or for an authentic Italian coffee. Don’t miss out on the great happy hour/aperativo deals between 4-7PM! It almost goes without mentioning, but Passione Caffè is absolutely true to its slogan: “A corner of Italy in Berkeley.” From the food and drink to the atmosphere and the service, this is the only truly Italian café I have found in Berkeley! And that comes from over a year of experience living and traveling in Italy! Besides the beautiful architecture and interior design of Passione Caffè—not to mention its convenient location next to Downtown Berkeley BART—I would like to point out some highlights on the menu. The pastas are all made with homemade, organic noodles and made-to-order sauces. The pasta dishes are so fresh and authentic! The spaghetti with meatballs, their only Americanized dish, is to die for! The pizzas also are also made with home-made dough and gluten-free options are offered. Try one with fresh prosciutto, mozzarella, and arugula! The fresh panini with Italian meats and cheeses round out the lunch menu. It is possible to have a filling lunch for $7-15, which is definitely reasonably priced by Berkeley standards! A serious final highlight was the artisanal gelato, made in-house by the Italian co-owner, Eleanora Cercatore. There are 12 flavors, weekly made with gluten-free options, that are displayed on a beautiful rotating wheel. The gelato is spectacularly tasty—I cannot recommend it highly enough! For your time, money, and fine Italian bites and drinks, I cannot recommend a Berkeley café more highly than Passione Caffè! Please pay them a visit soon—you won’t be disappointed!“

“I have been going to Tay Tah cafe for years. Their Breakfast Energizer smoothie is my go-to lunch meal and my husband loves the Banh Mi sandwiches. We are so lucky to have this wonderful cafe in our neighborhood! The owner and employees are super friendly too!

“this soft serve truck is so cute and serves the best soft serve by far, with housemade chocolate sauce that hardens to a nice crunch on the ice cream. the addition of salt on it makes the perfect balance. the red truck has such a personality and the folks who work it are always so fun to chat with. and it's local! they even have a teeny tiny cone for kids and the seal is hand painted :) the line can get long, but I promise it's worth it!“
